Great service! The staff is super friendly here and they know you by what you normally order.

Got a half sandwich costing over $ 6.00 w/chips, which measured a PITIFUL3″ X 3″ — FREAKINRIDICULOUS!!! WHATANABSOLUTERIPOFF! Sandwich was very dry and simply thrown together. Crap over priced fast food!!! Place is over crowded, noisy and VERYVERYVERYABSURDLYOVERPRICED! Don’t waste your time or hard earned money at this OVERPRICED joke of a restaurant!

The lesser known of the sandwich chains, Cosi is known for their flatbreads. As far as flat breads go, it’s pretty good. Unfortunately, I’m not a big flat bread fan so I may not go back just for that. It’s pretty similar to the other sandwich places like Panera. They have a good selection of salads, sandwiches and soups. I got their salmon salad and liked it. There was a mix of greens, the dressing wasn’t too heavy, and there was an average portion of salmon. I liked the meal but it wasn’t amazing.

Overpriced. Service is OK. Northing extraordinary… Food is OK… Not something I would return for, but decent for a quick sandwich. Definitely overpriced for the amount if food that you get and the quality doesn’t match the price. I

Granted the only thing I get from Cosi is their signature salad with whole wheat flat bread… I find myself having daily cravings for this stuff. so by that alone… I rate this place a four… minus one star because I do think their prices are a bit on the high end… I’ve gotten my food from other Cosis(mainly wells and monroe) and their flatbread is always a little off… hard or slightly burnt or like it was an old batch but this location. i have never encountered a flatbread I didnt like…

Free wifi, open until 9, spacious dining area. Score. I tried their Italian wedding soup, which was decent once I added salt and pepper. Staff seemed relatively polite and attentive. The dining area was spotless, as they have an attendant that makes the rounds regularly. Will probably return.

I stopped in for a quick breakfast sandwich before heading in to work. I ordered a simple bacon, egg, and cheese croissant and an orange juice rang up by Anjelica. I noticed that my receipt said TBM squagel and immediately made sure that my order was correct and she said it was. After a 20 minute wait I get my food and I’m late so I don’t bother to check. I get to work and am greeted by a monstrosity with basil and mozzarella. I guess she got one thing right, it was on a croissant but definitely not what I ordered. Way too late to go back and definitely could leave work to return the sandwich. Ruined morning.

I almost forgot about this place until a fellow Unilocaler liked my pic lol. Remember it was a fresh, good salad ;)

unimpressed. Our party was three and everyone’s food was not even lukewarm(mac and cheese and two pizzas). So, when we sent our pizzas back to be warmed up– they made new ones. Didnt appreciate that wait and not being given the option. The woman who sent our food back gave us brownies for the trouble but that just didn’t make up for this experience. Not sure I can go back.

Over priced. Flat bread is good but they hardly put anything in them. A far cry from what they were 10 years ago. I got the half bahn mi which was way smaller than expected considering the price. And it wasn’t even a very good bahn mi.

I was in downtown area, stopped at Cosi. I chose the Thai curry bowl. It was quite a disappointment, when I got home and opened the bowl. The tofu curry consisted of tofu and some cauliflower over a large bed of rice. There wasn’t much flavor either. I’m a vegetarian and I don’t think I will go there again as a choice for dinner.

Lunch spots in the loop tend to mimic each other, and Cosi is part of that group. It’s a decent lunch spot, with lots of seating and a large space. The staff is friendly, and as you’d expect in the loop, the portions are small and probably pricier than you’d expect. $ 10 for a salad and drink is typical, but if you come after the lunch rush you’ll have the place to yourself!

Dear Cosí… I fully understand that Kale is suddenly(for who knows why) incredibly popular and healthy for you but… Why is Spinach no longer an option for salads? I came in around 615 – 630 this evening, place was empty except a couple people sitting down, because I ABSOLUTELY needed a salad with spinach, bacon, tomato and feta soaked in Italian dressing(I worked for the company for about 2 years and some things are just needed). The girl at the counter was friendly enough but was incredibly slow on the computer system(maybe she was new?). I placed my ‘for here’ order and got my salad to go and was sad when she told me spinach was not an option for salads and I was forced to settle on mixed greens(I know, right? First world problems here). Anywhoo… Aside from the lack of spinach, everything was amazing!

Cosi is right across the street from my office. I have been in there a few times because it’s such a convenient lunch option but I have never had a good experience. I have ordered salads, soups, and sandwiches on various occasions and always get these items to go. However, whoever is working the register either fails to note that my order is to go or the person quarterbacking the food prep area can’t read. I’m not sure who is to blame but on EVERY occasion I have been there they get this wrong and I’m left apologizing to the employee for having to repackage my food to go. Also, the area where to go orders are picked up is a nightmare. People mill around waiting for their number to be called while an employee scrambles to grab both in house and to go orders off the counter for distribution. Whoever designed the space did a poor job. Otherwise, the concept at Cosi is a good one. Who wouldn’t love flatbread cooked in a brick oven?!? If only the service was half as good as the flatbread…

I’ve never been a fan of here. I work next door so I go when it’s someone else’s suggestion. Pros: –Fairly healthy options. I say fairly because I don’t trust the salad dressings. –Baby carrots instead of bread or chips for no extra cost –Loyalty card gets you a free meal or drink with every 10 purchased –Sometimes they’ll have specials for loyalty card holders. It’s only ever happened to me once but it was a nice treat getting an email offering me free soup. Cons: –Salads are very unexciting. Never enough toppings or protein. Just a lot of lettuce. –Menu board is very hard to read and handheld menus are hard to find –Old carrots

My friend and I came here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. It wasn’t too crowded so I Was happy since we were able to get a seat. I ordered a buffalo bleu sandwich. It was pretty good. I really like Cosi’s sandwiches but they are expensive compared to most sandwich shops. I won’t come here too often. The food is good, just not so much with the price tag. My friend ordered their tomato basil soup. It came with a side of flatbread. He enjoyed it as well. Overall this is the typical Cosi. Good but $$ for sandwiches.

I really like Cosi, though I rarely chose to go here what with so many other options around. But a long line at Naf Naf drove me here last Friday, and the Asian Salmon Salad was pretty darn good! Fish was fresh and flaky, plentiful lunch portion with lots of fun edamame, carrots, pineapple, and these sweet sesame brittle things in lieu of croutons. The best part is that they give you a big piece of their delicious warm bread on the side. I also love their sandwiches, though I haven’t had one in a while. Anything on their bread is great. I also like their mango smoothies and their s’mores. This store is pretty efficient and set up like a Panera — you order at the registers, then you get a number and hover until they call your number and hand you your food. I think this is the opposite of how most Cosis work(you normally order with the people who make the food and pay at the end) so I got confused. But now I’ve told you so you won’t! So it’s a chain, it’s a good one and lots of healthy options.
