Danny Valles

Oh man, the one thing I can count on in life is having the unmanageable mass of kinky protein that is my hair transformed into long manageable red tresses by this untemperamental master craftsman. He understands life as well as hair and is extremely funny.
He also is highly accommodating. Today I had a routine appointment and I asked 25 minutes before I was supposed to be there whether he could also straighten it (Brazilian conditioner), since I had just found out I’m going to Sub-​Saharan Africa for work in a couple of weeks, and I didn’t want it spiralling chaotically in the tropical humidity. He accommodated me with no problem and fed me red wine (can you tell?). I’ve also introduced him to two starving artist friends (male rock star and female artist/​impresario, curly black and straight chestnut hair respectively) and they love his work too, and I approve – nothing too dramatic but working with the great raw material they provided.

I have been going to Danny since he opened this location. I have very fine hair (lots of it) with no natural body. An issue all of my life. I cannot hold a curl and have tried multiple products. I now have an awesome hair cut and color and receive constant compliments on. As an artist and lovely person (way to fun!) I highly recommend Danny Valles.

By far the best hairstylist I have had in over 20 years. I would not trust anyone else. His eye for color is amazing. His «up-​dos» for special occasions are breathtaking. I am continually being complimented on my hair — it is all due to Danny!!! His salon is small and personable. He spends a great deal of time with each client and really gets to know each person.
