One of my favorite group of staff members in Chicago. It might be a davids thing it might just be this location(I’ve only ever been to the one), but these people know what they are talking about. They are really kind and funny and helpful. You list out flavors you like or the mood you’re in and they have five suggestions they think you’ll like and they’re pretty much always right. You can smell all the teas and ask questions and they’re super helpful even when they’re busy. I didn’t even like iced tea but my friend took me here and now I know that’s not possible because there are so many different types and tastes that there’s definitely something for everyone and they will help you find it.

The customer service is amazing. The tea was everything I needed and wanted. The lady behind the counter was so helpful and I can’t wait to return. The variety is so great that there is something in there for everyone.

Tons of loose leaf choices here! The iced tea accessories and tea mugs are way more bright and modern than other tea places. The employees are very helpful when you’re trying to figure out what to sip on. I tried the cotton candy with agave iced tea and it was the perfect summer treat!

Super fun upbeat spot. Not as pretty as the other ones, but a lot of soul. Really came to rescue with my mom’s deep dish-inspired belly woes.

QUICKHIT: Check It Out — Very impressed with DAVIDsTEA. Why? –Extensive selection of both traditional and non-traditional/unique teas(excellent variety) –The staff were friendly and committed to helping you find the perfect tea –The staff provided samples to allow you to taste/smell several offerings –The staff individualized their service to the experience(with tea) of the customer(much appreciated). Very knowledgeable. –The tea itself was well made, strong, delicious. Will definitely come back here again, and have already ordered two tins of loose leaf tea(along with infuser accessories) on their online website.

Sometimes you need a refreshing cup of ice tea and this place has you covered. The selection of tea is amaze-balls and the staff is extremely fun and helpful. I believe they only have one size cup which is 3.95. Last time I came in I tried the Berry Refreshing with a few agave pumps– chugged it down pretty quickly. When is tea ever a bad choice? Go here and enjoy!

Tea pop? Or pop tea? Is yummy. I like the sparkling ice cubes they use to make the drink fizzy and pop like. Tons of teas for the tea lover in your life and friendly staff.

Very friendly and helpful staff. I love the fact that you are able to try any tea you like, too. The selection of tea is immense, so it is very hard to choose, but the staff is very helpful in providing details about the products based on your preference. I would highly recommend this or any of there locations.

I am not a big Tea person(I do like ice-t the rapper tho), but I stopped by on St. Pattys Day after a sign indicated they were offering a free tea if you’re wearing green– holler. The customer service was exceptional! I would give it six stars of possible. The girls working there are some that friendliest employees I have come across. The first girl I talked to you carefully listened to my preferences and then selected a variety of teas for me to smell check out. The girl who prepared my tea was also super sweet. I’d go back just for the great service! I wish all store employees were this great !

If I could give this store more than 5 stars I would! I work right next store at Mac and I come into this store so often most of them know me and know what tea I enjoy most! I love that! This staff works so hard and they have the most positive and comforting personalities I’ve ever came across in one store. There so helpful and they go above and beyond for there customers. Not only is the staff amazing but let’s face it so is there tea! I’d have to say my new favorite has to be yogi berry! If you like tea that smells like danimals yogurt this is the one for you ;) it’s always such a good start or end to my work day! I also appreciate how kind and generous this store is with bringing us free tea coupons/samples/and tea to our store just to be nice! It can really brighten up our day! So thank u to davids tea and to this awesome staff! :) I will forever be a customer!

It’s tea heaven here! A cup of tea is $ 3.50 and a pot of tea is $ 5.00 which is perfect to share with another 2 – 3 people. You can select any of their tea leaves and they will steep it for you. There are so many different flavored teas, both caffeinated and non-caffeinated and a small seating area against the window which seats about 6 people. The staff here are very nice and extremely knowledgeable about their teas. He helped me narrow down exactly the type of tea I was in the mood for. I ended up with their non-caffeinated guava tea which smelled amazing and tasted just as great with some honey on the side! Check out the free samples as you walk in!

Being a Russian born tea fanatic that I am, and currently living in the suburbs, trying to find a new hot spot to buy some delicious loose leaf tea can be a challenge. Not only is this place nicer to your wallet then Teavanna, but also offers a large variety of loose leaf teas. From every variety possible. They also have a rewards card, and they can make you a cup of delicious tea right then and there. The staff is very friendly and helpful when it comes to making the decision, and also offer a free tin with a 4oz purchase of tea! Cha-Ching! The tins help your tea stay fresh for up to a year! They also have a wide selection for tea brewing systems from small single cup, to a pitcher where you can make fresh iced tea. This place is clearly a win-win!

Far and away my favorite spot for tea in the city, nicest employees ever and very helpful and knowledgable. Good deals every once in a while on loose leaf tea as well. I end up getting gifts for mom and sister here pretty often. Would definitely recommend!

Super nice and very helpful. Everyone offered me a free sample while explaining what they were serving and asking for allergies. I got to smell a few different teas and have a nice selection before settling on a great kiwi green tea. I’ll be back!

An oasis for the tea drinker like we. Sylvia, behind the counter, was a delightful as she offered samples from the(almost) never ending tea varieties. Even mate that our Argentine houseguest would have enjoyed. Only downside is that they aren’t in the South Loop!

Davids Tea reminds me of a Progressive Insurance commercial set. The bold colors, the over the top presentation and a decent product. Must be a tea enthusiast to appreciate the many choices it has developed. Less technical than TeaGschwendner. The fruit mix and the chocolate mix teas are really interesting. The staff does a great job of selling their wares in a «Insurance Flo» like fashion too. Overall a nice option to Starbucks. But not ready to give up espresso just yet.

I’m so happy I went into David’s Tea– you immediately are giving warm smiles and the girls are very helpful. While the other one was helping some customers, one came up to me and asked me what brought me in today and started getting out a few suggestions based on what type of tea I was looking for. They have organic flavors, as well as fun ones such as ‘birthday cake.’ They have samples they first want you to try too. If you want to take your time, you can do that here at David’s tea. Everything is beautiful displayed in this very nice and clean store located conveniently in Lincoln Park. I walked out with blueberry and ginger tea that I like to mix at home. They also have tea accessories such as a tumblers that I may get the next time I go in. Customer service, the cleanliness, and the wide variety of flavors is what makes DavidsTea a 5 star rating. Can’t wait to go back!

If David’s Tea had an alcove with a cot, just for me, I’d probably move in. Not only is it visually sparkling clean and tidy, but it’s also filled with delicious smells, boatloads of looseleaf teas, and extra friendly and knowledgeable staff. Hubs and I were looking for a warm beverage mid-day while enjoying the shops on Armitage, so we happened upon David’s. After smelling a variety of options, my nose peaked upon a big whiff of the Birthday Cake tea. This very fragrant rooibos tea(with sprinkles!) offered just the right amount of sweetness and texture with a dollop of milk. No extra sugar necessary. When I find myself in the area again, I’ll definitely pop into David’s for another tea and probably buy some to go!

Do you love tea? Tired of Drinking water? Need a creative gift idea? Finally, Do you like delicious things? If you answered yet to any of these questions, David’s has got your answers in its 30ft wall lined with what looks like at least 100 canisters of divine smelling and looking tea. The staff is extremely friendly and suggest teas for you bringing them over to let you smell each one. Though I can imagine during peak times and weekends this system is not quite as smooth! After I told every single person I know that I have found my favorite place in the world, I actually tried the tea. Though they all smelled delicious, I have yet to really love any of the flavors. The one I enjoyed the most is the Forever Nuts. The Red Velvet looked and smelled amazing, though its a little more black tea tasting than I was expecting. Strawberry Rhubarb makes a pretty good iced tea. I got 6 one ounce samples for $ 24, though prices per tea very slightly. They said each one ounce sample makes 5 – 7 cups of tea or like 3 glasses of iced tea. Though its pricey I will undoubtedly be back to try more!
