Draft, there is a very creepy male bartender that was acting very arrogant on Tuesday March 29th. It caused my whole group to walk down the street to second time around. And we were coming in pretty regularly on Tuesdays and will not return if he is still employed. Just a tip but good looking female bartenders bring in patrons not arrogant wanna be actors

So before you just look at the stars and assume I am going to have had some terrible experience, I am not. Not at all actually. The reason I only gave it 2 stars is because I felt as though I was just at home on my couch drinking a beer alone (had a similar experience at the brewery not too far away)…Not what I want to feel if I go to a bar looking for some ambiance. And for $ 5 a beer, I would expect a bit more.
Now granted I went during a week day around 6pm… but still. The place was not completely empty and there were 2 bartenders. So things could’ve been more lively. The bartenders were cute but doesn’t matter much when I’m barely acknowledged. But again to their defense it was a weekday and most ppl seemed to be wanting to be left alone.
Either way I don’t see myself returning unless the weekends are better. Just a bit too boring for me.

Friendly bartender. It was a slow and quiet Sunday night. Love the décor and lounge area. I wouldn’t have noticed the place if they didn’t have a large bright sign outside haha. Drink specials are great too.

What I enjoyed most about this place was the décor. It was also very clean. One of the bartenders was a total sweetie (another lectured me on what a drink was supposed to be called). The clientele was very mixed. There were both older people in their early fifties and people in their early twenties. I felt their drink prices were pretty high considering how far from downtown it is. This place should not be charging Wrigleyville prices for cocktails. The DJ also told my friend, who requested a popular song, that he couldn’t play it because the owners told him he is only allowed to play a couple of «urban songs» a night, which kind of bothered us. My biggest complaint? The bathrooms! There was only one woman’s bathroom. After 30 seconds of being in the restroom, an older regular was banging on the door. Not wonderful!

Nice neighborhood bar. Went for a party and they had a live band, I think they were all lawyers, that was pretty good. No food available but the drinks are affordable and the décor is a step above some of the other area bars

Great hangout spot!!!
I’ve been going to draft since it opened and it has become my «go to» bar. Everyone is so friendly and its a great environment!
I recently attended a birthday party and the bartenders always made sure we had drinks.
The music is great. There’s always a Dj or a live band. Theres always a food truck on the weekends. AMAZING FOOD!!!
If you’re looking for a local bar to watch the hawks game, Draft is def the spot to go to! :)

Had birthday party there and the staff and owners couldn’t have been any nicer. Everyone was so helpful with the planning and the decorating. I would recommend this for your next event. The food truck that came later in the evening was also a big hit

Celebrated my fiancé and my birthday here last week. What a great time! Teresa made it possible for us to have a reserved space for the friends to hang out. The drinks are great and very reasonable! They don’t serve food but they were totally fine with our ordering a few pizzas which is awesome! Friends were complimenting our choice of bar as the dj played a good variety of music and everyone felt comfortable. We had an amazing time at Draft!

Stopped in for some drinks and watched the games on Sunday. They don’t have a food menu, but the bartender brought in chicken tacos — yum!

Was in Chicago for my first time on business. I ended up here after reading all of the positive reviews. The environment was great and the owners came over and introduced themselves. $ 10 domestic buckets and chili during halftime. It was a nice local place and I would definitely return here.

This is a great neighborhood bar. Its very clean and very down to earth. The wait staff and bartenders are attractive and attentive… and the prices are reasonable. Of course I’m used to downtown prices so any prices under that seem reasonable to me.
The only thing I would want them to do is to serve food. They have a food truck outside many nights and they have no problem having you order food in so its not that big of a deal.

Threw a surprise party this past weekend for my husbands 30th. We had about 40 people and everyone had a great time! The bar is clean and serves drinks quickly! Teresa offered us a great package for drinks as well :) The dj was good too, he played a mix of diff music. Well definitely be back for another party :)

It seemed like a really cool spot when we were driving down Irving so we decided to stop in and watch the Hawks game. The place is really nicely done, with brick walls, and lots of TVs. They even played the sound during the game. My bf and I got to sit on their comfy couches by the windows. We got a domestic bucket for $ 10 which I think is a good deal. Although they don’t serve food, they had a food truck come out front. The only downside was that the bartender lost my bf’s credit card, but they were really nice about handling the situation. I will definitely come back for a drink if I am in the neighborhood again.

I celebrated my big 4 0 here. Had a blast! Dj is there on Saturdays from 9 pm –1 am. I reserved ahead of time for my date. The owner Teresa had the Dj call me to ask what kind of music I wanted for my event. I did a 1920’s theme and had about 70 people. It was tight but we had it booming! Bar needs to stay open to the public no private parties. I was able to cater food in and my cake. We did the consumption package where my guest had a $ 1 off drinks. They also have wrist bands $ 30 for 3 hours. We would definitely have another event here. See you soon Draft!

Wow I could not be more bummed out after leaving this bar. Heeneys was a total dad bar but at least they never tried to rip off their customers. I ordered a absolute and cranberry and was served a straight cranberry juice in a Tom Collins glass. I will start by saying I have bartended in this area for the better part of a decade. I can tell if there was even a drop of vodka in a drink and I had a couple friends try my drink as well. I left a nearly full drink on the bar and walked out. The female bartender was friendly but the male ones acted like I was an inconvenience to order a friend a beer! See ya heeneys, I will always have fond memories of the bar you used to be.

Finally a really great bar in the area, and the guiness is definitely good. Really nice atmosphere. You can tell the owners put a lot of time and effort into making this a great neighborhood spot.
