This place is a big no-no for me. I came here last Saturday morning to pick up some breakfast, and the fist thing that I noticed is that they were out of almost every bagel. There were about 4 kinds to choose from. Hmmm… not off to a good start, especially when your restaurant is focused on bagels and it’s Saturday morning. Luckily, they had Asiago cheese bagels, so I decided on a breakfast sandwich. I’m still trying to grasp my head around how I spent $ 11 for an egg/cheddar/turkey sausage breakfast sandwich, orange juice, and small coffee. There was nothing spectacular about the sandwich, and it was even microwaved! Blahh, ew. However, the orange juice and coffee hit the spot, but definitely not worth the amount of money I paid for them. A below average experience all around, so I do not recommend!

Surprised by all the bad reviews, so I upped to four stars, though really ANY Einsteins really only deserves three. It’s a basic bagel sandwich shop. Nothing fancy. The bagels are decent, though a little doughy and nothing like a NYC bagel, but that’s to be expected. Still, I have been to this one several times and never has my order been mixed up. The staff has always been courteous and helpful. I do like the sandwiches better than the coffee, but both are good. Don’t let the negative reviews deter you. This is a fine Einsteins. If you are looking for a coffee and bagel sandwich shop, this is a fine one. And it’s clean too

Dreadful on all accounts– bad service, high prices, bad management, rude ghetto employees. The place is dirty, there is always crust around their sink behind the counter and white splatters, even the inside of the bagel case is dirty. Many of the tables were dirty. They are incompetent. I ordered a bagel thin with egg whites/swiss/asparagus/mushroom, and they got my order wrong and gobbed strawberry cream cheese on an asparagus egg sandwich. Imagine how that tastes, effin nasty. And prices do not reflect value. Three egg/cheese bagels= about $ 16, on a bagel thin. It’s certainly not labor-intensive to make, but their employees move like zombies. I don’t think I’ve ever waited 15 minutes for a bagel sandwich before.

The customers here are total jerks, and will ruin any decent person’s visit. I don’t think any of these people have been out of their houses in the past twenty years. The staff deals with these pricks as best possible, but don’t be surprised if some lady on an iphone knocks you over for her lox bagel.

I love Einstein’s Bagels. After living in Denver for over 10 years I’ve been to dozens of Einsteins over the years. This Einsteins on Clybourn is the worst Einsteins Bagels I’ve ever been to by far! It’s horrible and I’ll never go back even though I love Einsteins. Someone from Corporate should come make changes immediately. Where do I begin, there is no ticket system so I had to give my order several times and they still got it wrong. They never have the type of bagels I want, thin or regular. I asked repeatedly for them to make more coffee but instead of making more they would just sit around and talk on their phones. But finally they couldn’t even properly toast a bagel and cream cheese. EPICFAIL! DONOTTOLERATETHISHORRIBLESERVICE. JUSTSAYNOTOTHISEINSTEINS!

Sure, I love the toasted everything with veggie cream cheese, but I come here for the coffee. The vanilla hazelnut blend with Splenda and half&half makes my work morning a bit more bearable. Any time I have ordered food, my bagel has been perfectly toasted and schmeared(veggie and sun dried tomato are my favorites!) Not sure what DeaconMSA is talking about, I think that the employees at this particular location are great. One of the employees even knows my daily order and lately has been calling me «Large Coffee.» Thank you Clybourn Einstein Shop, your coffee(and the occasional bagel) makes me so VERY happy!

Quite possibly the slowest, most poorly run Einstein’s around. Avoid unless you like swimming in incompetence.

every once in a blue moon, i miss the food ‘scene’ in the suburbs. that is usually when i’m craving a bagel. i was to go in my car and find a parking spot in a parking lot that’s free and go in and eat a delicious, chain-restaurant-created bagel. i have learned this place is not where to go to try to recreate this guilty pleasure of mine. parking is annoying, the service is sub-par, the bagels are stale, and the turkey sandwich i got had 1 slice of turkey on it. like, a really itty bitty amount of meat for a really substantial carb foundation. and their diet coke even tasted weird. and what’s with $ 9 for a deli sandwich and drink? i’m either getting really good at consistently finding meal deals, or really cheap. sad.

Absolutely terrible customer service. The employees barely look in your direction when you order – that is, if you can even find one. The last two times I dined in, I witnessed an argument between employees and customers. Bad form. I’ll be going to the Einstein Bros. on Southport from now on.

Yum, I just had the veg out bagel sandwich. It’s been a while since I had one and it was just as I imagined it all morning. I haven’t been tempted to try the pizza bagel perhaps cuz’ I make those at home and don’t see what’s differant.

I have been a huge fan of the tasty turkey on asiago since I first laid eyes on an Einstein’s. Like all chains, it’s pretty consistent across the board no matter which one you go to. This one is very clean and has very nice employees who are friendly and always quick. They never made my Friday morning summer detour take too long.
