I’ve been fortunate enough to work with Maje. He is an excellent teacher who expects you to perform, but is patient enough to work with you through your difficulties. I’m in my mid-forties, not the best time to start judo, but I wouldn’t want have any other teacher for takedowns. He his incredibly talented as a athlete and equally talented as an instructor. Plus, for a three-time Olympian, he is one of the most humble and approachable people I’ve met. If you want to learn judo, do yourself a favor and train with Maje.

I am currently learning from Maje. Let me say he is legit. His credentials are impeccable. He is extremely patient and breaks instruction down in such a manner that facilitates learning. He’s an old school practitioner so you can trust you are learning from a legitimate source. Give it a go!!! You will get an unbeatable workout and learn how to defend your self too!

Maje is hands down one of the best martial arts instructors regardless of discipline in the city. As a Jiujitsu guy in my late 30’s I found Maje’s style of teaching very helpful. You would think someone w his credentials(Multiple Olympics… and still an active competitor) would be unapproachable and intimidating. I couldn’t have been more wrong. If you want your kids to do something other than play video games this summer get them into the kids classes. My 6 year old daughter thinks he is cool too.
