FedEx Office Print & Ship Center

Fedex is shocking! I ordered from Walmart and today I got into the office (Monday) and outside my office, on the sidewalk is a torn open Fedex box with my name on it. Online they said they delivered on Friday. I was here all day Friday. The signature was ‘MNATE’ — it was FRAUD by the delivery guy. This is absolutely pathetic. Walmart does not want to refund me because of this. (I am not American so I don’t go by ‘Nate’). I hate Fedex and will never use them for anything. UPS is a whole lot better, never had an issue with UPS. Don’t use Fedex!

Came in to do a test run on printing some photos. Chanel helped me decide how to print, helped me print a few and showed me how to trim them with the paper cutter. Excellent service and had answers to all my questions. Thank you!!!

THE WORST EXPERIENCE.
Two cashiers, one person ahead of me shipping one domestic package. And it took 43 minutes for me to get helped at the register. Forty-​three minutes.

I was assisted by Joyce — a middle aged African American lady. The place was empty on a Saturday morning at 9:30 am. She directed me to the self service machines, although she had nothing else to do. I think that the level if laziness has gotten to a ridiculous point.

I was printing out a school project. Two images wouldn’t print on the self-​service kiosk and charged my card. Noelle helped me out!
This is exactly what I expected. Neat for simple print jobs!

I swing by every couple of months or so to print things. The employees have always been pleasant and helpful, and the process has been simple and inexpensive to print basic pages.

I called and followed the prompts and decided, I needed to speak with a person (Sat.12/6/14 @4:45pm;they close at 6pm). The woman who answered, tried two times to direct me back to the automated system. The third time she succeeded because she tricked me. She said she was going to give me an answer, little did I know she meant the automated system would give me the answer, eventually, which it did not do!
I’m not sure if it was the same woman from the day before. I went in there the next day, Sunday. There were three people in front of me. But as she walked by asked me with a rude demeanor and attitude. «Are You Picking Up!» I asked to purchase a certain size box. She said she didn’t have it. But she had… Who knows what she said, because she continued to walk away as she spoke. I find that rude, disrespectful and ignorant, especially around the holidays. Needless to say, I’ll use UPS or USPS, on Southport, they were very nice there. FedEx needs to check there employees or employee at this location. I walked to U-​Haul 3 blocks further out of my way, twice this day, because, I’d rather do that then give any money to a company that is represented by a person like her or women like them, if they weren’t the same person. As I walked by, twice she was doing nothing because noone was in there, why would anyone go there, it’s not Weiner Circle!(where rudeness is expected). Maybe she/​they can apply there!

Nice folks, friendly and professional service, I’ve never had a problem here. I like their selection of office supplies. For those complaining about their «high prices», I’d say do some comparison shopping first, as FedEx is not generally known for their «discount» prices.

Came by to pick up some packages delivered here for online shopping. No problems at all!

Went in to post a package to Europe, which I’ve done several times. I expect it to be pricey but I don’t expect the employees to be rude! Parking is tough and they are just not nice to deal with. Everyone goes in in a good mood and comes out annoyed. Take your business to Ups!

Love that this location is so convenient to me, but the service is one of the worst I have experienced. There is never enough people available to help all the customers in an orderly fashion. Their printing and fax services are pricy, and their fax machine seems to frequently have issues. And as many reviewers have stated, the primary employee is unprofessional, inattentive, and unfriendly.

There are few times in life I get really angry with bad service. To make the long story short I have never been more annoyed and pissed off with anyone in my life. Donhue the employee there is on another planet. He is not helpful and I was there for an hour and 45 minutes and nothing got accomplished. If I ever have to go back in there again I would honestly rather shoot myself in the face.

The guy was very friendly, but the overall FedEx service is really shitty. The seller accidentally put the wrong address for my package so it turned into a whole debacle. I was supposed to receive this on Wed but because two days later I want to pick this package up instead, I have to wait 48 hours for them to create a new shipping label and then they have to take it to this facility. I had no idea it takes 48 hours to do all that. I thought I’d never say this but USPS actually is better than this for picking up packages?! WHAT?!

I have been to this Fedex twice in the last week, for copying and for mailing out. The guy behind the counter is friendly and helpful, but if there are more than 2 or 3 people waiting for service, you can be there for quite a while. The copier I used was not working well (skipping pages), so he helped by re-​doing the job for free on a different copier. I can’t complain, but I definitely think they could use more help, especially during peak hours.

Printed our wedding invitations here and was helped by a couple of guys who helped us find out the best and most cost effective way to get it done. We ended up making copies using their copier and our own A7 paper. The quality was excellent and it worked out at 11c a print coming to about $ 10 for around 85 invites. Good value and much less hassle than using our own printer. Took a while to get set up buy after we got it all sorted we were full steam ahead.

Friendly people, but could use some a/​c.

I’m really never impressed with the service here, and really go only for the convenience factor. The UPS Store on Clark near Lincoln Park Market is far better, and the service is fantastic.

Hope you’re not in a hurry!
No concept of time or customer service– rude. Extremely overpriced.
Unwilling to help or cooperate with you if you’re having printing problems. I couldn’t print my .jpg– the woman told me their machine doesn’t print .jpgs… Obviously incorrect and uninformed employee.
Up to 3 employees in the store at a time– all standing around doing nothing.
You are better off going to UPS or USPS to pay WAY less.

Holy shit, I’ve been robbed!
I have an interview next week. Prior to said interview I was asked to complete and fax some paperwork to their NYC office. Since I do not own a fax machine I printed out and completed the materials and took them to the nearest FedEx for faxing.
I wandered into FedEx bubbly after finding $ 12 in an old wallet a few minutes earlier. Little did I know how quickly my mood would change for the worse.
It wasn’t until the last page of my fax was being sent that I noticed the little price card next to the machine. My reaction was something similar to this picture
Why? Because the fax rates were as follows:
Local: $ 1.49 for the first page, $.99 each additional page
Long distance: $ 2.49÷1.49
International: $ 5.99÷3.99
That’s right with tax my 10 page fax cost me over $ 18! That makes hotel business center rates seem like a steal.
I could buy a whole f-​ing fax machine for $ 30 – 40 at MicroCenter, at that rate I should own at least 50% of that damn machine! Or I could’ve parked my car in a Loop garage, faxed the paperwork from my old office and had enough cash left over for 1 or 2 beers!
