Fix It People

My job was just completed yesterday. Ahead of schedule and under budget. As a homeowner who lives 45 minutes away from the property in need of repairs I was very impressed with the efficiency and resourcefulness Tom took in making these repairs. He was able to coordinate with the tenants and schedule the repairs without me micro managing every step. Also after the initial assessment my insurance claims adjuster informed me that painting wouldn’t be covered. Tom was able to give the condo association a quick adjusted invoice to reflect this as well as provide my tenants with a very cost effective price on hiring him for painting separately. I was given an updated invoice and a way to pay easily from the comfort of my computer. I really hope I don’t need future repair work but if I do I will keep this number handy.

I needed the drywall around my closet door repaired after I accidentally fell into my folding doors ha! I contacted Tom with Fix It People and he quickly had one of his team members out to assess the damage and repair it. I highly recommend them. Great customer service, craftsmanship and value.

I used Fix It People to touch up a wall that tenants had damaged, and despite being warned ahead of time that the paint may not dry exactly the same as the existing, older paint, it was flawless upon completion. Very good work!

Niall and his guy were on time and very nice. He recommended the type of paint and sheen I should use for my walls since they are plaster and not drywall. The job was small but they did excellent work and were done in about a day and a half. I would definitely use them again.

Punctual (something you don’t say about a contractor too often), fast, on-​budget and very clean! I hired Fix IT People (Niall was the guy who came out) and they literally were in my neighborhood the day I emailed them and they called their guy to come out and work up an estimate.
A day or so later I had a very reasonable estimate emailed to me for the ceiling in several rooms, a seriously banged up wall, some crown molding, window frames & a few walls I wanted a new color after patching. I received a quote via email and after a few back and forths to make sure I understood was was included and what wasn’t (all of which was handled very well via email) they sent me a final updated quote on Friday and were out to do the work on Monday. Tuesday at 4:30 I came home to find them cleaning up the work area, sweeping the floor and wrapping up the mats they used to protect my tile. My old walls look like new and just as important — my new floors still look like new. No paint spills, very good edging and the proper preparation of the walls with primer and all was done.
I was very impressed on the first day when I watched them put up all of the plastic to protect my kitchen cabinets and the one wall in my dining room I wasn’t painting. And just as impressed at the cleanup when they were done.
Really, this is a model on how all contractors should work with their customers, I’ll definitely call them for my next painting project and recommend them wholeheartedly to my friends!
