I was having trouble finding any kind of home service who would agree to do the detailed trim painting required on the window frames of my Victorian home. Yaniv had no problems with it at all. They agreed to paint up on a ladder, in three colors, in tiny details that required sanding and priming first. The painting looks great and the price was entirely reasonable for a whole afternoon’s work.
I also called them for help with my kitchen sink leak. Again, excellent service and good advice.
I’ll agree with another reviewer that you won’t get perky chit-​chat from Yaniv, but his SERVICES are outstanding. Since a home that is 120 years old frequently needs attention, I’ll be calling My Chicago Handyman often.

Yaniv can seem a little gruff at first, but he is easy to work with and did an excellent job on a roof repair project that I needed. His price was very reasonable considering some other quotes I got (the prices always seem higher than you think they might be) and he even expanded the scope after noticing the need for a little additional work when they got up there (at no extra cost). I will use them again when needed.

Yaniv replaced a window in a condo my wife and I own in Chicago – we live out of state now, so finding a responsive and flexible handyman was important. Yaniv was very responsive and flexible; I was able to reach him by cell or email. He worked directly with my tenants to schedule appointments, and when anything came up, he let me know immediately. I was very pleased with his fast, courteous, and responsive service. When he was done with the job, he emailed me an invoice with everything that was done. I will definitely use Yaniv’s services in the future and would recommend him.
