Joe is a honest and hard working handyman. I am a real estate broker at @properties in Bucktown, and my team has Joe handle all of our painting and handyman needs on our listings. In addition, I refer him to my clients at least a couple of times a month. It is hard to find someone who will do all the little jobs that need to get done, as most contractors only want big jobs. I trust Joe with my listings and clients, and will continue to refer him out for years to come!

I needed a variety of home repairs: mirrors installed, faucets & toilets repaired, and some ceramic tile work. I found Joe through a recommendation on the Next Door Suganash board. I was somewhat hesitant because I didn’t see any recommendations on Unilocal,then I realized that there were four reviews that were filtered (because the reviewers hadn’t posted enough to have their reviews visible? That is a dumb policy, Unilocal).
We did a walk-​through of what needed doing. Joe gave me a very reasonable estimate. We scheduled a time for him to come back, and he arrived on time and ready. While he was working, he discovered some unforeseen circumstances that he informed me would increase his time and materials. He completed the work only slightly above the very fair estimate.
I will definitely call Joe in the spring, when we are ready to do more household improvements.
