The quiche! Omg the quiche!!! It’s so heavenly tasty. I have not tried others but the quiche is enough for me to come back.

This place is great! Great atmosphere with excellent music, rad interior and vibe. The desserts are amazingly decadent and worth the somewhat higher prices, good for sharing. The only reason why i give it 4 stars is because of the coffee, which was 90% milk and 10% some really bland espresso :(

I absolutely love this café. It’s an open concept with a loft style upstairs seating area(which is where you should always sit in my opinion), and they have both breakfast and lunch menus along with their assortment of pastries. My go-to has become the quiche, and because their coffee bean is slightly too bitter for my liking, I tend to stick to their lattes. Order your items with the cashier, pick up drinks from the barista, take your number and have a seat, your food will be delivered to you. They also provide you with access to wifi, so you can plunk down and get some work done. Network: Floriole — Password: croissant.

Spectacular! Coffee is amazing, quiche is delicious and the lemon and passion fruit tarts are to die for. Don’t miss this gem!

Walked for a light breakfast with a friend. The atmosphere is very cute and the food was great. My order was forgotten so it was a bit of a hassle. I brought up the forgotten order to the staff and they weren’t very urgent or apologetic. I would have expected a better experience when I brought up the mistake since I gave them 20 mins before I asked about it. But, Like I mentioned, the food was good so I would possibly return but I would hope the staff is in a better mood and more friendly.

Totally delicious pastries. Like, tea cakes that actually make you shut up and just chew for a while. Cute atmosphere. Will be back.

Solid pastries. Good, not amazing coffee. Service was restrained and not friendly at all from the blonde woman at the counter, like pretty woman walking into the expensive boutique.

Very comfortable setting with outstanding baked goods and well crafted coffee drinks. Walked over after a movie at Webster Place, and really glad we did. I’ve never tried the savory dishes, and have never been disappointed by the baked goods. I try to come here any time I’m in the neighborhood.

The food here is just delightful! Really it is. I had a lovely turkey and goat cheese sandwich and salad that was delicious and fresh. The case of pastries looks heavenly. The pecan pie I had was good but not mind blowing. I’d try a different dessert next time if I make it back.

What a delightful morning treat! I came for the bakery aspect of Floriole but learned that this place is incredibly dynamic and has much more to offer beyond exceptional baked goods. They utilize intelligentsia coffee for their caffeinated beverages. I was quite pleased with my café au lait. The baked goods were absolutely phenomenal. The kouign-amann was outstanding. I had to look up what it was: dough folded with lots of butter and sugar. It was buttery, sweet and crisp. I could have eaten ten! The ham and cheese croissant was also delicious. The croissant portion with savory spices and seeds is the key feature of the dish. The ham and mustard inside are good but minimal. If you want more meat and less bread, this isn’t for you. But, if you’re like me, and bread takes priority, than this is a perfect treat! There were many other baked goods that looked amazing that I wanted to try! Also, I must try the deep dish quiche. But this leads me to why I gave a four star instead of five: price. Everything, except for many of the baked goods, seemed over priced. $ 9 for the quiche was enough to prevent me from considering it. The baked goods, for the most part, are reasonably priced. Other positives include a beautifully open, chic and we’ll let space conducive to conversation and work time. Also, the entire establishment, including the bathroom, was incredibly clean. The staff were friendly and helpful. I will definitely return!

This is probably one of my new favorite spots/cafes! I’ve tried a couple of their soups and pastries. The fruit gazette and passionfruit tart are both amazing! I really really liked the squash soup as well. Service is friendly and quick. Atmosphere is cozy, I feel like i sink right in. Love it!

Our decision to come to Floriole was solely based on my Unilocal senses and I was so happy I trusted those instincts(and delicious photos). The location itself is beyond ADORABLE. It screams suburban neighborhood with brick walls and fall foliage everywhere. The store entrance is unassuming and the interior is simple yet elegant. It features a high ceiling and a 2nd story loft space for extra seating. Two drawbacks i found were the temperature and the ordering system. I’m not sure if it’s always like this but the temperature was extremely high and the air was stifling despite the cold outside. As for the ordering system, you have to walk further in to order at the cash register. Upon entry, you’re actually at the pick up station, which had my entire group a little confused. The employees are friendly and readily answer questions with ease. The drink menu is simple but delivers(I got an iced latte) but the star of the show was definitely the dessert menu… It seems expensive but it’s definitely worth it! I got the lemon tart and, I kid you not, it was the best lemon tart I had ever had. The $ 6 price tag didn’t even matter anymore! If I lived here I would definitely study or socialize at Floriole over dessert and coffee. There are multiple outlets and ample space at each table to spread your work. The bathrooms upstairs are clean and stocked as well!

Although I walk by Floriole on almost a daily basis, I had never stopped in before. I wish I stopped in for brunch before, because I loved all of it. I enjoyed the quiche, which had one of the most delicate crusts I have ever had. Their space has an upstairs area which was really cute and the perfect place to enjoy our second cup of coffee.

Alright, so I was longing to find a coffee shop that had big windows and tables positioned so I could sit in the sun, and I finally found it! Very nice environment, staff are friendly, and the chai tea was very good. Free wifi and a great environment for grabbing a coffee and getting some work done. Definitely plan on coming back for the great atmosphere!

I like this bakery a lot and I swear you’ll always get a four star review from me if you offer caneles! French bakeries are always a win in my book. Nestled in Lincoln park, this was a perfect afternoon spot after a meal. The choices were unlimited and the bakery was bustling after we got there. I like to think I bring in the crowd to most places! Passion fruit tart: light, airy, smooth, very sweet but also perfectly tart. I’m not a huge fan of tarts, but this was so good. One of our better choices. Canele: yumyumyum. Always good if done correctly. I want one as we speak. Crispy on the outside and crème brûlée flavor on the inside. It’s very much like a Vietnamese dessert that’s native to my family’s home town which is why I love this so so so much. It’s just a sophisticated version of it. Almond chocolate croissant: ack! So dry! It was so so displeasing, we weren’t sure what to do with it. There was a filling inside too but we simply could not eat it. Other than this poor choice, the others were delightful and we wanted to try so much more, but there’s only so much fat to gain and time to be had at a bakery!

This is such a cute place for grabbing coffee & breakfast. The coffee was really good. I also had the veggie egg sandwich, delicious. My friend got a couple different scones and I tried a bite of them, so tasty.

Had an excellent first experience here for a light lunch and coffee(avocado toast and drip coffee). Was looking for new spots to get work done on the weekends, and the ambiance is quite nice. They have seating upstairs and on the main level, and there is a mix of people doing work on laptops, families having brunch, and small groups having coffee. The staff is friendly, and the selection of pastries, breakfast, lunch, and brunch is great. I will definitely return to try one of their tartines of the day and/or several pastries.

My girlfriend read about this a few years ago and ever since then, she’s wanted to go. So when we found ourselves in Chicago in time for lunch, she was very excited to have the chance to eat here. Long story short, we were both disappointed with the place, though she was much more disappointed than I was. Physically, the place looks good. I was able to find street parking without much trouble, and the place looks great on the inside. Very peaceful, modern and clean. I ordered a turkey sandwich. My sandwich was perfectly good, but not particularly remarkable. I dont remember what I had to drink, but I know they didnt even have soda, which blew my mind. I got whatever else they had that was cold and could quench my thirst(iced tea?). My girlfriend ordered the quiche. It turns out though that the serving size of the quiche borders on microscopic. Seriously, it was very small. Small as in if you want it, order 2. She was probably able to each the whole thing in 5 or 6 bites and was still hungry. Fortunately, Sweet Mandy B’s was just a few doors away. I dont really have a preference for where I like to have lunch. I can generally find something I like anywhere. With that said, this place was pushing it. I found the menu rather limited, and nothing sounded especially appetizing. The best thing about the place was its ambiance and design. I thought the food was ok, but if you want to eat food that tastes good, I’d suggest you go elsewhere(though if you want to eat healthy food, this might just be your place).

You get what you see! This bakery café has a display of sumptuous baked goods! We wandered in for some drinks and a snack before setting off elsewhere for a sit-down brunch. Which in a way was too bad – clearly this is a place that deserves exploration. We ordered a latte(upper echelon), a hot chocolate(upper echelon), and a fruit bowl of blackberries, blueberries and apricots. Lush, lush berries and slightly too firm apricots, but all in all very good. Our project: get more of what we’ve seen. We’ll definitely be back here with the café as our prime destination.

I’m always super excited to come in to his fantastic. I usually go for the part to Karen as my staple dessert say velvety chocolate pudding with cream, or Blakey chocolate croissants or some of the cake slices. I think this is the best bakery for pastries and desserts it’s made with the freshest ingredients and it’s not overly sweet

No matter the season, always a favorite, but I’d be lying if it wasn’t best on warm, sunny days with the front accordion doors open and tables outside. I love coming to Floriole during the week with my laptop to get some work done upstairs where there is usually plenty of seating available(and wonderful natural light) or on the weekends with my husband and dog for a leisurely late lunch outside. The baked goods are always stellar(most recently the blueberry scones were delicious!) and the sandwich, etc. options always fresh and tasty. Recently, I had some of their avocado toast while my husband had the smoked turkey sandwich. Both were good and decent portions. Their iced almond milk chai lattes are also quite good. Staff is always smiling, food made fresh but doesn’t take too long to come out, and the front patio tables are dog-friendly…what more could you want?!

Great customer service looks like Lilly! She is always smiling, helpful and eager to serve. On this visit, she allowed me try a ham and cheese croissant and a sticky bun. That bun indeed lives up to its name! It was really good but I wouldn’t recommend getting it if your dental-work is sketchy. It paired well with my coffee. The croissant was light and flaky and the ham had a great texture. Oh and the B.A.D– Bacon, arugula, date spread and goat cheese on cornbread, is spectacular!

Love love love Floriole! Delicious baked goods. Really nice, helpful staff. Great ambiance. The place feels very open and airy and has two floors of seating. I prefer to sit upstairs because it’s a little less crowded. During the summer they open the front windows so you get a great breeze and tons of fresh air. They also set up a few tables outside. In addition to being a bakery, they’re great for brunch or a light lunch. Some of my favorite things to get here are the oatmeal, the Parisian ham and cheese baguette, the bread pudding, the quiche, and any of the delicious baked goods in the case. They also have really good tea. They use loose leaf tea and put it in a cute glass pot when you eat there. Definitely check this place out if you’re in the area.
