I have yet to be disappointed. The food and service is excellent. They do a seafood«catch of the day»(which actually changes only weekly) one week it was an ocean trout, which was beautifully prepared and served either over greens or as a sandwich for 8.99, I have not found a place nearby that would serve a comparable salmon/trout dish for less than 14.00. Today’s chef special was a coriander crusted lamb tenderloin, with glazed baby root vegetables and a potato pave, which I think is just a fancy way of saying escalloped potatoes. It also was 8.99 and the presentation was something out of a magazine. Seriously, have a waiter bring that plate to me, and I am happy to pay well over 20 bucks for some of that! They have made to order pizzas, which look beautiful and run only 6.79. Some sandwiches can be ordered with a standard amount of meats, or you can choose to beef it up for a small up-charge. If they continue to offer this quality of food, at these prices, I will continue to come back almost every day.

I love this place and eat here almost every day. Make your own omelette with a lot of fresh vegies for breakfast. Banana bread and pancakes were great. For lunch I have gotten the made to order grilled salmon and turkey burger and chicken sandwhich. I thought the burger was a little on the small side but not nearly as small as Tony D. I think they fixed that problem. The Pizza is DELICIOUS. The sandwiches are very fresh and high quality meat. I thought the carvery sandwiches were a little light, then I found out you can order it city style and it comes with double the meat for $ 1.5 more. Fresh salad bar. Coffee and smoothies are great.

The prices have gone up 25% since they have opened a month ago while my salary has gone up 1% in a year. PUT A FOURKINME. I’M DONE!

Absolutely Horrible!!! Complete rip off. I got a burger, it started out a nice size, by the time it was done cooking it was the size of a white castle hamburger. it’s about ¼ the size of the bun, burnt, all of the seasoning was plopped into one spot in the middle of the burger so i had a massive bite of salt! The fries are god awful, no flavor, no salt. I’m severely disappointed. I’ve also had the flavorless terribly dry pizza and a sandwich from the deli. Save your money go some place else. You want good cafateria food go across the street to the board of trade basement and visit cellars. At lease if you pay 10.00 for something the food is well worth the cost.

Worst! How hard is it to cook a burger? Really? I mean it’s not that hard. The guy at the grill is lost. I waited 20 minutes for a burger I didn’t end up getting because he mixed my burger up with a guys turkey burger that was so raw that it was still clucking. It’s not that hard. Meat, cheese, bacon and a stinking bun. I ain’t even asking for special sauce. Also, check your receipts people. Walked out of the door paying $ 3 bucks for a 2 dollar fritter. I mean it’s only a buck but 1 plus 1 is two. Not three. Get it chick at the register. Two days deep and your not making any fans. Finally checking out is a nightmare. You have to wander around the place like a chicken with your head cut off in order for someone to notice that you might be ready to pay for your over priced meal. Might have to wait a while before I roll back and partake in your establishment.

Open to tenants of the 440 S. LaSalle building and their guests. Stopped by for breakfast. Fruit and yogurt bar, bagel bar, made to order omelet station, packed and ready to go meals, Ended up having a tradition breakfast. Scrambled eggs(cracked right in front of me, pinch of course salt, cooked firm… perfection), and bacon, sausage links, sausage patty, and hash browns. Nice that you can get it all A La Cart for less than $ 2 each. Today’s breakfast special was banana bread French toast with Vermont maple syrup for only $ 3.99. I only passed because I wasn’t in the mood for sweet this morning. Lunch was the Hanger Steak sandwich. I went with the pretzel roll and provolone. Steak was tender, and tasty. Sometimes I need to add something like A-1 but this was solid on its own. With pretzel rolls you can sometimes get an overly tough or dry one that requires gallons of water to wash it down. When you go this route you sometimes end up «tearing» off your bites. This sandwich was perfect. Held together and didn’t fall apart yet easy enough to eat and wasn’t tough at all. Bonus points for not cooking it well done. Additional items tried –Pizza 4 out of 5 stars– Sausasge was pretty good as it was a little spicey. My co-workers and I were suprised this cooks in only 4 minutes yet comes out plenty crispy. Pretty much everyone plans on getting the pizza again. ***** Thai Chicken Pizza special 5 out of 5. If it wasn’t for the sample I may not have thought twice about this option. The peanut sauce offered a rich flavor and the spice clinched in. The large portion of fresh veggies(carrot, cucumber, green onion) was impressive for something that costs less than $ 6. I would have taken pictures of it but was handing out samples before I got back to my desk :) Taco Pizza — 4.5 out of 5. Refried beans, choice of fresh tomato salsa or roasted green salsa. I had both and the green had a nice light kick and lots of extra flavor. Green is the way to go here. Cheddar cheese and ground beef. Then out of the oven finished with queso fresco and cilantro. It would have been a 5 for me if it had black olives. Worth a repeat visit for sure. –Buffalo Chicken Wrap 3 out of 5 stars — Maybe 4. This think was delicious and loaded with chicken. It’s just I wish it was freshly fried chicken then diced, sauced, and served. I realized that would take more time but with how good this tasted with the breaded chicken being soft, I can imagine it would be a 5 out of 5 with freshly cooked chicken. –Meatball sandwich 4 out of 5 stars — 3 nice size meatballs with proper amounts of seasoning. I hate it when a meatball is JUST a ball of meat. These had plenty of seasoning and the sauce that it was tossed in was full of flavor as well. Visable chunks of olive, garlic, and capers. –Roast Beef and Swiss sandwich 4 out of 5 stars — This had to be at least ¼lb of roast beef. Nice size sandwich and a nice assortment of ripe veggies to choose from as toppings. I went basic lettuce, tomato, onion with the horseradish sauce. $ 1 more added a nice large side of fresh fruit. –Gryos Pizza(daily special) 4 out of 5 stars. — I was brave here. I love gyros, one of my favorite foods, but as a pizza? Cheese pizza made with seasoned lamb topping and onions. After it comes out of the oven it was dressed with the Cucumbers and Tomatoes and Tzatziki sauce. Nice melody of flavors but the tomato sauce overpowered the fresh veggies a little bit. Not bad but I might as for less sauce or olive oil brushed on instead next time. That and likely ask to pay for extra meat. –Burger, 3 out of 5 — I think the other reviews are being a bit harsh. The taste of the burger was good but yes, it shrinks too much. They are hand formed but after cooking they shrink together making a thick patty that doesn’t even cover the bun fully. **Update. 4 out of 5 but ask to have the beef patty flattened so it’s thinner and fills out the bun** –Sweet BBQ Chicken Quesadilla. 2 ouf of 5 stars — Sweet is correct, no real spice hear. Was hoping for a more falvorful chicken, like blackened or marinated. Appeard to just be diced grilled chicken. Very messy once the sauce was added. A fork and knife meal. It won’t hold together eating it with your hands.
