My husband is from Wexford and gets homesick often enough! We head here for some rashers and some black and white pudding, we grab some Club orange and Tayto too! They even have Brennan’s bread! With these thing and few others, he says he is «Happy as Larry!» and we head home for a feast!

I try to go here about once a month and stock up on all of my favorite Irish foods. Must haves include bangers, bacon, white pudding, black pudding and beans. I could eat this everyday for breakfast! If you are Irish like me and missing authentic Irish food this is the place to go!

i’m not irish but i sure felt lucky to finally cross gunnison road and visit the little irish grocery store called gaelic imports. its a small place but what really caught my eye was the display case filled with various delectable looking items. i ordered a sausage roll, a meat pie and a bag of irish scones, all delicious and all made in house. another little known chicagoland gem im glad i visited. you should visit too.

They just started making vegetarian shepherd’s pie! I can’t wait to have the freshly made potato leek soup. A wonderful place to get your Irish goods and goodies. They have seasonal candy and gift items also. I just spent $ 100+ happily.

We came here for Irish Bacon, being the one thing we truly miss from Ireland. Normal bacon just doesn’t compare… Luckily for us, they sell it here for an excellent price. Puddings were reasonably priced as well. They do have lots of jewelery and crystal, but really, all we care about is the food. :)

Great place to get your irish goods. I’ll stop in every couple week to get sausages or something. They are always friendly and helpful. I think they run out of some crisps sometimes, but they’ll be stocked the next time i go in. The cold lucozade and club is in the small fridge to the right of the register. I think they take their time walking up from the back just to make me think about grabbing one. It always works.

In an attempt to find a few nostalgia-inducing food items for my Irish mother’s birthday, a Unilocal search directed me to Gaelic imports. About twenty minutes north west of the city, this store seemed to have just about every item I could want — Canned beans in tomato sauce, Irn Bru, black currant jam, Irish/English candy(Fruit Gums!), Barry’s Teas, Lemsip!, etc. The best part: fresh Irish meats(fancy bacon!), homemade soup, brown bread(both homemade and frozen), scone bread, pasties, bangers, and puddings.

They carry many of the same product as on-line food sites like , the staff is helpful, and I flew in and filled my suitcase on a layover! Very nice to be able to count on them having what I wanted on a whem! They have the Brennan’s they have the club beverages! And the rashers/bangers, meat pies! what more can you ask for!

Like a trip back to Ireland. This store has more authentic Irish merchandise, including food, than any store I have come across since I shopped at a similar Irish store at Woodfield Mall. The store is small but does give you a pretty good variety of jewelry, clothing, authentic Candy, daily newspapers and historical or family lineage merchandise. My only complaint was that there was no Guinness on tap.:(Everyone needs their wee bit of wet in the afternoon. The employees are extremely pleasant and Irish through and through. It’s a nice neighborhood shop and worth checking out. Be the first in your family to try freshly made Haggis!

One of their homemade meat pies will warm your heart on a cold winters day.
