Staff is friendly from the front desk receptionist to the nurses and nurse assistants. Korrie and Mariyamma on 3rd floor took such personal care of my dad as well as Maria and Dexter on 4th floor who take care of him now.

The first and second shift here are the best. Both CNAs and Nurses on 1st and 2nd shift are great.

My mother died less then 24 hours ago and she had been at harmony for about 5 years. She had early onset Alzheimer’s which started around 58. She was on the 4th floor for the entire time. There were several different nurses that worked there throughout her stay, but I never saw a negative in a single one of them. I received phone calls when my mother needed shots, or when she had a small cut on her finger. They reported every small thing to me. She went from being the highest functioning person on the floor, to being the patient that needed the most care. The woman that takes care of the activities has been there the entire time, and I rarely walked off the elevator without hearing her playing the piano or directing a fun activity for people that really needed it. Harmony took care of everything from financials, care, hospice and arrangements without ever putting me on the spot to hurry or help at all. My mother was on pubic aid from the very beginning, and you would have never known based on the care she received. I would not change a thing.

Please learn from my mistake. Don’t let the good looks fool you. I’ll stick to the facts about my grandmother’s acute rehab stay here, even though I have a lot more to say about this place. She was dropped twice(all 85 pounds of her) during transfers from wheelchair to bed, both requiring emergency room visits and stitches. Another time I had to twist their arm to send her to the emergency room because they insisted she was fine, and it turned out she had had a stroke. Just a little opinion… I thought the therapy program was weak, they had way too many patients in ratio to therapists in one room for anybody to get quality care, and the food was terribly unhealthy.
