This is more a review on my Land Rover salesman than the whole place itself but, as he works for the company he is a direct reflection of the establishment.
I came in this place a couple weeks ago fully intending to drive out with a new Range Rover Evoque, however, my experience left a sour taste in my mouth and I left empty handed. Upon walking in we were told all representatives were with other customers; totally fine with me and more than one person made it a point to come up to us just to let us know we weren’t forgotten; very nice.
However! When my sales guy finally walked up, he disregarded me and introduced himself to my male friend who was standing right next to me. An embarrassing assumption that I corrected him on but even after we explained that it was me buying a car and that my friend was just there as support the salesman still continued to direct all his information and questions to him instead of me. When it came down to the logistics of the sale including price and interest rates he kept giving me numbers «off the top of his head». I asked him multiple times to run numbers into his computer, which he ignored, and continued to just spew an endless concoction of interest rates and down payments, again… all «off the top of his head» as he put it because he never ran my credit to find out what I’d actually qualify for. After 30mins I finally convinced him to print a paper copy of what he was saying and when I had questions as to why certain things were priced differently than what was advertised his answers were varying degrees of «thats just the way it is» and «i don’t know».
The appointment ended with him saying he’d get back to me about what interest rates the banks they work with would offer me. I didnt really have a problem with what was being offered in the first place but at that point I was really disliking the man and wanted nothing to do with purchasing such an expensive car from him. He never got back to me about the banks either. Thus ending what could’ve been a happy evening for both of us.
Maybe some of the other sales people are a little bit better in their customer etiquette and vehicle sale explanations. Good luck to anyone who goes here!

I purchased a previously owned Volvo SUV from Howard Orloff November 2015. Love the car! Brought it in about 2 months later to address a high pitched noise when turning sharply in either direction and a clicking sound prior to braking. Wasn’t sure how long car would be in service so Roger Sertuche offered a Range Rover loaner car and told me to keep it as long as needed while my car was in service. Picked up the car and all was fine until about 2 weeks later when I brought it in for 2^nd time. Was never made to feel uncomfortable about recurring problem, Roger assured me all would be taken care of and again was given a fabulous loaner car. Problem solved @ N/​C to me :) Thank you!
Six months later my automatic door locks were on the fritz and in the car comes … again I was offered a loaner car and the repair was made in about 2 hours at no charge! No other car service department has ever done this for me. The whole experience was made pleasant by the technicians, service department and shuttle driver Manny who are truly sincere and honest people.
Roger Sertuche is always attentive, professional and patient when listening to my issues. Howard Orloff stands for quality and integrity. Their true mission is to make customers feel well taken care of and special. They stand behind their products & service and go above and beyond the ordinary standards.

Bought a Range Rover sport and can’t say enough about the overall support I have received from purchase through now from the team at Orloff and especially Brandon Dunne.

Found a car on-​line, went in and test drove and the next day picked of a clean & full of gas car. Hopefully, «she» ages well. Tom Eckardt in the Internet sales area was great and made the process easy and painless.

Brandon’s customer service is amazing. He came in on his scheduled day off to do a deal with us. He worked with us in such a friendly, smart, and personal manner. No hard sell — just a good guy. If you’re looking for a car it’s definitely worth your time to call him up.

I dealt with Brandon Dunne. He was very professional and hustled. I didn’t feel pressured. I ended up not buying a car, and Brandon was very professional in not getting the sale and continued to be a professional.

Easy sales process.
Finally after a few years of dropping by their lot and talking to James Pittman (my salesperson there), i ended up buying a Range Rover.
James was real good as evident by the number of test drives he had given me in the last few years. In fact this round, i «borrowed» a zero mile car to drive to downtown and back alone! That did it. Fell in love with the car, and not that i needed it but bought it.
After the sale james spent a good hour with me to go over all the features on the car and such. Very responsive. I highly recommend him.
I was worried upon signing the papers they’d try to sell me bunch of stuff i did not need that but fortunately did not happen. Tim (the finance manager?) was very thorough and professional. Shiny hair too.

Jacob Epstein was a fantastic salesperson. He sold my wife and me a new XC60 and the experience couldn’t have been better. We got a great deal on our trade and the value for price paid on the XC60 was perfect. Jacob was very knowledgable and not pushy. He found us the perfect vehicle within days and the deal was done. Love this dealership. our second time purchasing at Orloff. Great sales and service.

Double the cost for half the quality, that’s the moral of the story.
Howard orloff has a low standard for service. You will be returning when they didn’t fix what you paid for or just did a terrible job doing it. It’s the kind of place that over tightens screws so that things will break in the near future. They recently quoted a repair for me that was flat out double what it would cost anywhere else in Chicago. Maybe if they gold plated everything, but come on double? Having a paper air filter changed cost almost double what putting in a K+N high performance air filter would cost. They are simply out of touch with reality. But, if you take your car here, you are also out of touch with reality.
It’s pretty pathetic and sad that people keep supporting them. You can buy a car anywhere but to have it serviced here is just bad judgement. If you love your car, Don’t Take It Here!

Bought an Evoque in September… had a pretty good experience.
Initially we could not agree on a price for the car, and I walked out. They called me back, and exceeded my demands; both on the price of the new car, and price of my trade-​in. They did get a bit tricky on a warranty; the business manager tried to give me a ‘collision’ type policy, when I wanted a bumper-​to-​bumper warranty extension. I guess car salesmen are car salesmen.
But overall, I was treated well, and am pleased with my new car and the support that was offered. I’ve even been back to the dealer for minor issues, and have been eager to help. I would buy my next car there.

Brandon got my wife and I a great deal on a 2008 XC90 (Executive Package) with insanely low miles (33k). Brandon was very easy to work with. You could tell he wanted to sell us a car, but wasn’t «pushy» at all throughout the whole process. He was able to answer all our questions and responded to emails and phone calls very quickly.
I would highly recommend working with Brandon.
Re: Howard Orloff — reading through some of the lower reviews for this dealership I was a little worried about future servicing, etc… on the car we just bought. However, after multiple trips to the dealership over the last few days I can tell that they do great work.
The car we bought has a scratch going down the passenger side doors. Nothing huge, but you can tell the car was parked in the parking garage or something and the previous owner wasn’t very good at parking. :) They agreed to send it to a body shop for our asking price to get it fixed. It came back looking brand new. Perfectly matched paint. No trace of the scratch. If you’re wondering I am very picky/​OCD — so that’s saying something.
I think the problems most people are having are one of two things…
1) Howard Orloff is very busy. I live next door to the dealership and see cars moving in and out throughout the entire day. I would call this a plus as it shows that they have a lot of returning customers. It’s probably only a negative if you have a flat tire, no appointment, and no history with the dealership. Probably not the place for you in this situation.
2) Complaints about not getting a better rental car or want a more «luxury» experience when their car is in service. I understand the complaint from people paying 60K+ for a car. However, my wife and I paid far less than that so I have no issue with what rental car they give me. I’m more interested in the repair being done correctly with good parts and labor — which for me is exactly what they offer.
Last, they sell premium vehicles. Any premium vehicle is more expensive to maintain than a regular vehicle. Be sure to not spend your max budget on the car as you’ll be much more stressed when you need to have it serviced. My wife and I spent well under our budget knowing that the money we saved will go back into the car throughout its (hopefully long) life.
Long story short — when we need a new Volvo we’ll be working with Brandon and Howard Orloff again. We feel really good about our purchase and the overall experience.

One star is too much. I called ahead of time to see if Range Rover evoque were available and they said they had plenty in stock. The one star only goes towards the salesperson who was very polite.
After 2 test drives, I was ready to make a purchase. The salesmen did not know what was in stock. The fully loaded car was not available. They tried to sell me one with no navigation or sunroof. The color I wanted wasn’t even available. They said ordering it for me would take 3 – 4 months. As soon as I said that was the deal breaker, another salesperson who I think was a manager tried to sell the used car. A complete waste of time and a huge disappointment. Walked away empty handed.

Had a great buying experience with Tom Eckhardt… My wife and I were in the market for either a Range Rover Sport or a Discovery Sport. We stopped in one evening and met with Tom and discussed options and setup an appointment the following Saturday to test drive several cars. We ended up with a 2015 RR Sport HSE that we love! The whole experience was great, from sales to closing the sale, everything went as promised! I noticed the week after pickup that I had a screw in one of the rear tires, I called Tom and he got me into a service bay the same day and the tire was replaced at no cost…

If 0 star is an option, I would pick 0.
I came here yesterday because I got a flat tire this past weekend and this is the closest dealership from the city. I got a quote from my service person Kate for a price of $ 300 — I am thinking, ok this is pricey, but I am lazy and this would probably save me so much time and trouble, I am willing to pay this price for my «awesome service».
Kate called me at 3:30pm and informed me everything is ready to go, my car was sent to the wash, I can come anytime but there was no rush.
I got off work at 4:45 and called an Über during rush hour to get my car back. I didn’t use the shuttle service because I want to get my car back as soon as possible.
When the car guy pulled my car around, my spare tire was still on. The tire I bought for $ 300 is nowhere to be found. I went to Kate and told her it was not on. She said oh so sorry, so and so forgot to do it, it will be ready in 15min. I was already a little frustrated because she told me it was ready at 3:30pm.
I waited for another 40min. Kate found me in the waiting room and told me it will be ready anytime now, and that I can go wait outside if I like. I waited outside for another 15 min, a guy came over and asked for my receipt. I was confused but I still showed it to him. I waited for another 20 min, the SAME GUY came back and asked for my receipt AGAIN! I showed him again and asked him if he is trying to locate my car. He said yes, and he said OH, I know where to find it and left.
I waited for ANOTHER 30 MIN… I was FURIOUS at the time. it was already passed 6:30pm at the time. My service person Kate has already went home, and yet, my car was nowhere to be found ! I stood in the front for a while, my second service guy came over and apologized and said the guy who got my car was new blah blah… My tire alert light was still on, so he took my car for a drive, because sometimes it took a while for the light to go off…
so here we go… I was waiting and waiting… finally, thank goodness, the guy pulled my car over. He seemed pissed off at me and just left without saying a word. I was about to head home when I found out my spare tire, tools and my trunk mat were not even put in correctly. The second service guy came over and helped me put it back.
Needless to say, I will never come back here EVER AGAIN. This is the worst service I have ever received ever in my life. There was no communication between the staff, my service person left before my car was ready, there was no attention to detail, and even after this horrible service, I was not contacted by any of the staff to offer any apologies. I still couldn’t believe I spent $ 300 for this…
I will end my post with this: If you love your car, don’t bring it here!
