I really enjoy this place because the guacamole is so fresh and had good flavor. Their portions are huge and the quality is there too. I really love the steak burrito and the tacos are super tasty as well. The horchata is also great and the place is pretty clean and the staff is really nice. It’s your average hole in the wall place and it’s way better than Allende near DePaul.

Ordered the Gyro burrito, meat was really salty and greasy. In sure they’re other options are delicious but this wasnt a hit.

I felt pretty let down by this place but it seems like the tend to appeal to the late night drunk crowd. I ordered pick up from here on a Saturday evening around 5 P.M. and they said the order would be ready in 10 to 15. I arrived a shortly after 10 mins were up; by the time I got back home my burrito was pretty cold. Visually the burrito looked AMAZING, but inside I was sad to discover the thing was 80% tortilla. If not for that semi important factor taste wise the burrito would have been really good. Just add more ingredients!

They say don’t judge a book by it’s cover; or its binding, or its syntax, or its story line, or… Okay judge all you want but, take my word for it, and don’t discount this place; give it a try if you’re in the area. Authentic flavor is packed throughout the small menu of this dodgey seeming place.

Bought a Groupon and went in to order some food. The guy working tells me he can’t accept my groupon because it’s on my phone and not on paper then walks away immediately after? I’m still confused as to what happened but whatever

I’ve been there once, but I feel more than qualified to write this review. First, let’s taco bout the positives: the burrito I got was a good size & about $ 7.50 – not terrible. Now that we’ve established that, realize this is probably more of a late night, drunk-eats kind of place. I wasn’t in the right state of mind for the burrito place on the corner that’s open ’til about 5AM. But some things can’t go unsaid about this joint. The burrito I ordered was a regular burrito and then there were options to spice it up. I opted for no spice. I received unadvertised spice! I know what you’re thinking, «But Tom, you nancy, a little bit of spice at a Mexican spot? Not that obscure.» This was melt your face spice, people. I can often brush certain things off but this place sabotaged my mouth with this unadvertised spice. On top of that, the steak seemed low quality – like chewy/rubbery steak. Wasn’t a fan, but I can’t speak to their other options, such as: tacos, quesadillas, nachos, etc. I probably won’t return. P. S. The vibe in this place completely threw me for a loop. Couldn’t get a read on the place. Felt like I was in Ed Debevics(checkered floor) & a late night Mexican place at the same time. P. P. S. Ed Debevics couldn’t be more of an overrated place. Show up, pay a million dollars for not original food & get yelled at? No thanks. So dumb

My friends and I went there after a night out, and I got chicken tacos and guacamole with chips. Phenomenal. My friends apartment was nearby, and literally went back for another taco once I finished my first one… haha! Can’t wait to come back!

This place is a diamond in the rough! Super delicious! Pretty cheap. It’s not perfect. But it’s pretty unique if you’re looking for something different and outside the box.

Delicious tacos! Had chicken, steak and beef tacos. They were well-seasoned and hot with crispy fresh lettuce, tomato and onions. Very impressed! Guac was pretty good– I prefer it a little more chunky(more onions, peppers, tomatoes, etc.) but it was creamy, fresh and had a lot of flavor. Service was fast, and they were very friendly. Will definitely return!

Had a big, decent, greasy burrito here. The girlfriend had some decent tacos. Not in my top 5 burrito joints, but acceptable. The service was probably the slowest I’ve ever had at a hole-in-the-wall burrito joint.

If you’re in the area and have a craving for a well put together burrito or a plate of tacos with fresh chips, or even just a side of your choice of beans and rice, there’s a Chipotle north of here on Clyborn near the Petsmart. Nothing but overpriced garbage here. And it’ll take you 10 – 15 minutes to get one burrito. Place is usually full of diners with dazed and disappointed looks on their faces.

Had a great burrito and a horchata for lunch. Spent the next hour puking. The horchata was the worst i have ever had. The burrito was just as bad.

Had the vegetarian burrito at around 1 am, possibly the worst vegetarian burrito I’ve ever had. First of all, it took over 20 minutes just to get the food. On top of that, the veggies that were used inside the burrito were ice cold. The burrito as a whole had no taste what so ever and their sauces did not help the cause.

Besides it being semi cheap this place is not that good. I ordered taco salad, the shell was definitely not fresh, meat was overly seasoned. They gave me it upside down, so the paper bag it was in was all soked.

A solid option for a late night burrito. A friend and I have frequented Jaimito’s on occasion. When you’re looking to satisfy that craving, and or need some food to soak up the booze in your belly, Jaimito’s delivers. Portion size is large, always made to order and piping hot. Price is reasonable, and as others have said they now take credit card. Try the Chorizo and egg burrito

Looks like I found a new place to order food late night & poop my pants while I’m sleeping. This is one of those times when you have to make a trade off. You walk in know that you shouldn’t eat late at night not just because it isn’t healthy but you know that at some point you will regret it but it smells good & it looks good. I found this place with a friend one late night. We walked in around 3 a.m. & it wasn’t bust which was nice because most burrito places have a bunch of drunk mutants in it this late at night. I ordered a steak burrito & it was ready in about 5 minutes. The burrito was a pretty good size & it was pretty tasty. It was not the best but it was certainly far from the worst burrito I have had. I definitely thought it was worth the stop. Overall if you are looking to eat late this is definitely a good spot & I would eat here again.

It’s late, you’re hungry, you’re craving mexican, this is your spot! I’ve eaten here a few times now and I’ve never been disappointed. The food is pretty good. It’s your typical hole in the wall, so don’t expect much on ambiance, but other than that it truly delivers. Also they make everything fresh and it’s always piping hot. Finally the home made salsa, Use it! Also they accept cards now so that’s a plus.
