DELICIOUS! And very addictive, I know people who travel from afar to get it! I have to have it at least twice a week… Everything is good and the jerk catfish is actually grilled to perfection.

I have a West Indian background so I know a lot about authentic Caribbean cuisine. When I moved to Chicago from New York I tried almost every West Indian restaurant on the south side of Chicago and I have to say hands down this is the best.

I’m VERY surprised there aren’t more reviews raging about this hidden south side gem. Their food is DELICIOUS. Service friendly and good. No hour long waits for food. The time they quote is the time you can pickup. Take notes Uncle Joes!
I’ve had most things on the menu but always come back for the oxtails. They are amazing.

I normally get the jerk dark dinner almost every other night! I am extremely hooked on their food. I have been to other local jerk places and I thought they were the best until I came to this one! Now it’s to the point that I’m cooking dinner less and going to this place more.

I ordered the jerk catfish. The only reason I didn’t give this place five stars is because the catfish was a little under done for my tastes. Super thick pieces weren’t cooked as thoroughly as I’m used to. Other than that the flavors were on point. The calaloo was some of the best I’ve had. I like to have oxtail gravy over my peas and rice. Yumm city! Ill definitely go back, but will make sure to ask for my fish to be well done. A little pricey for the location but worth it.
