Jason Kaczorowski Photography

I recently hired Jason Kaczorowski Photography for an engagement session. I could not possibly be happier with the experience AND the results! I also am a professional photographer and I knew that I didn’t only want someone who was technically proficient, but someone who is creative, passionate about art, and has the type of personality that can handle all of our craziness.
Jason really went above and beyond in every area. He created images that are so meaningful to us (portraits where we first met) and images that describe us (we are a little goofy) AND some AMAZING art pieces that will be huge prints on my wall in no time.
Quality of service — 5 stars! He scouted locations in addition to the one spot that was important to us.
Responsiveness — 5 starts! Jason doesn’t mess around with response time. He will blow you away.
Professionalism — 5 starts! He really knows how to get the job done and have fun at the same time.
Value — 5 stars. Jason is a high end photographer, but I would have paid him double in a heartbeat if that is what his prices were. He is worth it.
Flexibility — 5 stars. My fiancé was only in town for a very short trip and Jason changed his weekend schedule to accommodate us. I cannot thank him enough for this.

From the moment I first spoke to him, Jason wowed me. I had looked at a number of Chicagoland photographers and was beginning to feel overwhelmed, but I knew Jason was the right photographer for us as soon as I looked at his website. Then it became a matter of whether or not we could afford him for our upcoming wedding!
Talking to Jason on the phone was a fun experience. He is incredibly personable and answered all my questions. When it got down to brass tacks about the price of his services, he was willing to negotiate with me and offered a very generous military discount (his brothers are Marines). We communicated several more times before my wedding day approached, and I knew I was in incredibly capable hands.
On our wedding day, Jason and his second photographer were incredibly professional and fun to work with. It’s been just one week since our wedding and our friends and family have been raving about Jason the entire time. We were floored when he posted select highlights within 48 hours, and we and our family can’t wait to see the rest! Jason also offers gift certificates for his services, including prints and albums, that we included on our wedding registry.
Overall, Jason is the consummate professional, and I wish we lived in Chicago so we could continue to patronize his services. You will NOT be disappointed by choosing him as your wedding photographer or for any other event.

Well, I don’t know what happened with the other reviewer, that sounds unfortunate, but I had head shots taken with Jason and was blown away, I looked flipping gorgeous and I am not gorgeous, so that was definitely his magic. I then recommended him to friends for professional photos and weddings over a period of at least the past five years, none of whom had anything but RAVES about his professionalism and about the product. The proof is in the pudding, the wedding photos I saw that he took for people I knew were some of the best I have ever seen. So much so, when it was time for our own 25^th anniversary vow renewal last year, he took the shots, and I literally tear up with joy every time I see them. What sets Jason’s photos apart is he really captures a WHOLE event, his photos bring everybody into the frame in an embrace, and he makes everyone look _​gooood_​without making them look unnatural. His photos are freaking treasures, seriously, looking at the pictures brings the whole thing back to life for me, like one of those Harry Potter photos where things are moving inside the picture. I wouldn’t have guessed, because Jason K. is so unassuming and down-​to-​earth and easy to work with, and his prices aren’t cheap but competitive and worth every cent; it was the best investment I made in the day after the meal and the dress (and the husband). He does rock photography on the side (you can see it on his website), so he’s really amazing about capturing light and space like no one else; this is not an amateur, this is mad talent. Don’t mean to gush and I usually only review restaurants, but when I was looking for a Unilocal link to send to a friend and saw only one review, I was so surprised and it really bothered me that some Unilocalers planning a party might miss out on the person who documents special events like none other. I can’t wait to renew my vows again in another ten years and have Jason there to take the pictures!
