Hands down the most knowledgeable CPA I’ve ever met. I’ve come to JBS for several services outside of tax returns and I can’t say enough about how helpful Josh was and continues to be. The tax process is simple and fast, I’ve gone through it 3 times with him now and every time the process is seamless and informative. Aside from taxes, I’ve come to Josh to help get my start-​up off the ground. The man knows everything. Period. If you need someone to help you navigate the processes of starting a businesses, running, a business, or anything in the field of business and finance, you go to Josh.
He has been nothing but accessible for the past 2.5 years and continues to exceedingly prove his worth as my CPA, financial consultant, business consultant, and whatever other kind of consultant he’s been for topics I would otherwise be aloof to as Regular Joe.
I absolutely recommend Josh/​JBS for anything remotely related to finances, taxes, business and the like. He’s a good dude and fun to talk with — a champion of good vibes indeed.

I was lost until i found Josh! After a few years using turbotax, a friend of mine recommended speaking with a professional to help me with my annual taxes. I was introduced to Josh 2 years ago. I cannot tell you how misinformed I was with regarding to write offs for my specific industry. Not only did he show me things that I did wrong previously with turbotax (which i could get in trouble for), but he walked me through everything step by step so i could understand it all. Not only did i not have to pay money back to the government, but i got a bunch back! Trying to cut costs by using turbotax actually cost me more in the long run!
My second year using Josh, i communicated well before tax season that I was buying property and had no idea what type of files I needed to keep on the transaction. He helped me with detailed instructions of what to keep track of. That’s the great thing about JBS and Josh… it doesn’t need to be tax time for you to reach out. In the end, his job is to save you money (and keep you away from the mean IRS) and he has done nothing but that for me!
I would HIGHLY recommend Josh and JBS to anyone who pays taxes (which is everyone).

This is my first time writing a review but I felt very strongly about my experience with JBS Chartered. I was recommended to Josh at JBS and had never worked with a CPA before. I was eager to partner with someone to help me navigate my taxes. While I was, admittedly, new to the process, instead of managing expectations and walking me through the process, upon our second phone call together, Josh went on a tirate. He raised his voice, used profanity and a tone that, I felt, was patronizing and rude. He discussed how he worked with businesses first and how he had been working 12+ hour days. I was very uncomfortable working with him. I terminated our agreement and paid him for his time so as not to have contact with him again.
I have never severed relationships with anyone I worked before. While many may have had great success with him, I would not recommend him to my friends or family.
