No Phở! It’s not really a Vietnamese place, but it is still good food. And the staff is very kind.

A divey hidden gem with possibly Chicago’s best shrimp po’boy. The only decent food in the hood, especially within 0.5 miles in this Ogden/Western intersection. 8″ SHRIMPPO’BOY($ 7.95) — serves 2 for a gal, more than enough for a big guy. Comes with fries and soda. Dressed with lettuce, tomato and reddish red mayo. After 15 years in New Orleans, Joe understood the importance of a Po Boy that it had to taste light and airy when consumed even though it contains a southern batter, and about 12 decent sizefried shrimp. Dressing is just right. GINGERHONEYICEDTEA — made to order. A nice healthy alternative that is refreshing. HAWAIIANFRIEDRICE — unlike the usual bland version, Joe adds 4+ pieces of shrimps with a special seared Chinese sausage. Sweet, salty, and tangy. A few fried onion tipping for crunch. You are never bored. VIETNAMESEEGGROLL — Excellent portion as it is the Chinese Egg Roll size with legit Vietnamese ingredients. $ 6.50SPECIALS — see board. More of a shrimp place than meat/steak. Steak was nicely seasoned, but it’s hard to find and bombarded by bread and stuff.
