John Gress Photography

John Gress is a talented photographer — a quick look at his portfolio shows that he’s brilliant at coming up with creative concepts and executing them with fantastic lighting, the right lenses, and effective post-​production techniques.
But what John’s portfolio doesn’t capture is how great he is to work with. He has produced several video and photography projects with me for the AIDS Foundation of Chicago, and I always look forward to working with him. He’s great at getting a sense of the project, pushing back and offering smart ideas, capturing the essence of the subject, and turning around his flawless work quickly.
I can’t wait to work with John on future projects big and small, simple and complex, because I know that he will always be the right person for the job.
