Definitely a ‘hidden gem’ as the first review notes! I was pleasantly surprised when I found this playlot in walking distance to my apartment. I don’t have kids but I have two dogs who LOVE the big open grassy area. I like to take them there to meet other dogs and for them to run around a bit. It’s too bad there isn’t a ‘designated dog area’ because there are a LOT of dogs in the neighborhood and they definitely have the space. Nonetheless, it’s a clean park that has beautiful landscaping! People are always very friendly, too!

A hidden gem of a playlot in the Six Corners area. It’s meant for children 12 and under per the sign hanging on the fence, and the equipment is designed for that demographic. We’ve been there at different times during the weekends, and it’s never as crowded as the Portage Park playground. In addition to swings and other equipment, there is a large sandbox, a grassy area with a baseball diamond on one end and tables with seating. It’s a small, contained area so that you can let your kids loose without too much worry.
