Excellent Salon! I’ve been coming to them for probably over 12 years, including following them to their new location.
Lisseth and Velma are both so gentle, they put me at ease. I could fall asleep in their chair. Very relaxing stylists; they are quick, but meticulous. That’s because they are great at what they do. Friendly, good humored, but always professional.
I’ve seen men, women, both young and old, as well as teens and children, all getting their new ‘dos here. Very affordable prices; they are always there and on their feet. Two very hardworking women. So tip them well.
Lastly, in terms of quality, I feel it is superior to many high end salons and barber shops downtown!
I indeed will be back, as usual.

The new address for Lisseth is 6049 N Ridge. Easy street parking in my experience.
Good and affordable hair cuts (and styling) from women who take pride in what they do and are pleasant and kind with customers.
Happy to get my hair cut here and bring my kids too.
Yes it is cash only. English and Spanish are spoken.

Four years now. Both Lisseth and Wilma can make me beautiful anytime. Can’t beat the price for such talent and kindness. The new place on Ridge is cute, comfy, and homey, and parking is fine.

First time I had a haircut I loved it. But the next time I went the owner’s son cut my hair. He doesn’t have much experience and it was probably the worst cut I’ve ever had.

This place is great. 9 bucks and a better cut than the 60 buck place I used to go to. True you need cash but worth it. Ignore the review about the language problem.

He was right — Unisex and I felt very comfortable.
They are open late on weekdays — 7pm which was important to me.
Very surprised on how inexpensive they were.
Good cut and I will be back!

i have been going there for over eight years and have not had a bad haircut yet !
five things i love about Lisseths Unisex Beauty Salon
1 they do MEN’s and women’s hair i do not feel out of place there at all
2 they are all bi — lingual it gives me a chance to learn and practice more Spanish !
3 they are gentle and give total attention to their customer
4 they are priced right ! i often tip to make up the difference that my previous hair cutters charged These gals are inexpensive for haircuts !
5 location location location they are in the neighborhood !
