It’s Wrigley’s Field’s 100th birthday today and since the guys that play there haven’t won a World Series in WELLLLLLL over a decade I thought I’d review a stadium that’s at least tasted a little bit of glory. Even though they only play little league here a pee wee title or 2 is still better than going 0 for the last century like the lovable losers. Really though… for kids, Little Cubs Field might be the coolest place for a youngster to play baseball in all of Chicago. It’s a spitting image of one of the most famous parks in the world with modern bleacher seating, AstroTurf, a home run fence, massive scoreboard, and even lights. So yeah… it’s pretty damn cool even just to look at as an adult. Heck if my parents had me play on something like this when I was growing up I may have been playing in the MLB right now instead of just falling asleep to games on my couch. Ya never know…
