Ugg… Unilocal at the airport… Sadly an afterthought. Not good. I should have known when I couldn’t find two items for the two item plate that looked decent… Looked kinda like the Chinese food out of the can when I was a kid, the can was better. Take 10 steps left and have a Big Mac… Better and safer…

Orange chicken is mostly breading/fried stuff– looked good though! Veggies are naturally good. Chicken and bamboo was good because the chicken wasn’t breaded.

I had this at the food court between concourse G and K. The overall experience is ok. They can change the name of Orange Chicken to orange flour, and the beef broccoli to broccoli only. Noodles are not bad. Fried rice is basically white rice with little oil on it.

Anti human: No humanity here. They couldn’t care less about you. Do not expect full sentences from the device. Oops – you’re stained: Food will leak and spill, almost guaranteed. Their cost-cutting includes giving out immediately biodegradable plastic bags, and giving you a strong enough cardboard container on par with bargain-basement Walmart paper plates. Who?: They like themselves, not you, in almost everything they do and give you. It didn’t used to be this way. There was an equal amount of attention to me. If their pretty good food wasn’t the only airport high-vegetable, Asian-influenced choice, I wouldn’t ever give them my money.

Horrible Chinese food. They have like three items, and they’re all horrible. I should’ve gotten something else at the airport, but I gave this a try. The chicken was too sweet! Hopefully they can eventually improve.

Not nearly as good as Panda Express. They set the steamed vegi’s next to the noodles and rice just like Panda does but instead of giving that as a no carb option, they charge you at the register. Already annoyed by the bait and switch, the steamed vegi’s were crunchy and bland. All other choices also were less tasty than Pandas. Ill be skipping this place next time at ohare airport K concorse.

The food here could be a hit and miss. First time I ate here the food was bland and over cooked(one star) but thought to give it a try again today since this is the only place that offered sautéed vegetables. I have to admit today’s food didn’t taste as bad as the first time, which was a pleasant surprise. I had a two item combo with half/half fried rice/noodles, sautéed vegetables and chicken with mushroom. Sautéed vegetables were good — crunchy and fresh. Chicken with mushrooms had no mushroom but zucchini instead and tasted not bad. Fried rice and chow mien were bland and could use some improvement but I was happy with my fresh veggie sauté.

This gruel should be avoided at all costs. If you dont immediately order and just stare at the food for 90 seconds, the temptation may pass. I sampled the two item combination with lo mein. The two meats seemed like no other meat i have tasted so far on this planet. Very stringy, with a very bland taste. The vegetables were very mushy and bland. Service was fast and efficient. They were able to sling this slop and ring me up in under a minute.

Oh boy! This is no Panda Express. I was so optimistic cause it looked so good. I really should have sampled before ordering. The food is not good. I got the two dish plate: two servings of orange chicken with white rice. I toyed with getting some vegetables, but they didn’t look good. Serving size was good, which would have been nice if the food was good. Oddly, it was a bit too orange-y. The sauce was just off. Nothing wrong with the chicken itself though, it seems. I ordered a fountain drink to go with. No free refills. You also have the option of a bottled drink. Overall, price was fine for airport food. Staff was nice. Just wish the food was better.

Disgusting food and rude servers! Never will I eat at one of these chains again! They advertise their orange chicken with pineapple and don’t sever it with it. The orange chicken was very chewy from being frozen, beef was tasteless and it is airport food, I get that, but the quality was below par!

Gosh awful lo mein. Bought it for kids. Some weird smell and taste. Wish I had checked it on Unilocal first. Had to do it in trash .even kids didn’t like it. What a waste!

The airline’s customer service and fulfillment has gotten horrible over the past few years and so has this Manchu Wok’s so called«food». I’m a frequent traveler and regularly find myself staring down the barrel of lunch and dinner decisions in an airport. Manchu Wok caught my eye as a quick and tasty place to grab a bite. Here is a brief description of my culinary experience. *Note: A shitty dining experience prompts me to right reviews. A positive experience prompts me eat and be happy. The Orange«Chicken»: Let’s start with the fact that if anyone thinks they are getting anything other then fried dough in orange flavored sugar sauce they are delusional. In this aspect Manchu Wok meets my expectations. I know I ate something but it didn’t have any chicken inside. It was more like hard fried bits of over-cooked funnel cake drowning in a diabetic death sauce. Kung Pao«Chicken»: I’m getting tired of writing about the nightmare that has become my decision to order Manchu Wok so I’ll end with the Kung Pao was possibly not chicken either. The portion was so minuscule that it could have been lizard meat or some other type of lowly serpent. Eat a salad or go on a hunger strike before eating here…

Agree with other reviewers about the bad service part. The food is pretty bad too, but I’d say it’s close to average bad for airport food. The service is probably the worst I’ve seen. The waiter/waitress is particularly rude and impatient to Asian and Chinese looking customers, even though it looks like they have Asian origin themselves.

Bad food and worse service. But it’s probably too late for you. No one reads reviews of airport food court slop BEFORE they hurry and eat it.

Customer service was fair. Rice was okay as it was pre cooked! I didn’t like the meal tho. So I ate 3 folks full and tossed it! Smh what a waste of money. Not I won’t return. Food selection was limited as well.

Meh, me thinks not but after 2 weeks in Europe my mother and I needed Asian Food FAST. The first round, they skimped on the portions. Fried rice, a vegetarian egg roll, okay tasting vegetables sautéed and not so decent mao pao tofu. Round two, my mother needed more. She came back and was happy to inform me they gave her a bit more… I couldn’t eat anymore. The first round made me not too pleased. For $ 9 you can get a palatable takeout of Chinese food.

I will not be eating here again. I got a standard plate with 2 dishes. You can choose either fried rice or lo mein noodles. I chose noodles, which turned out to be completely flavorless and greasy. There were dumplings, which counted as a side, so I chose those for one of my two sides. I received two lukewarm dumplings, which tasted okay but similar to what you would get from a frozen bag of dumplings. Finally, I chose the Kung pao chicken for my last side. The zucchini in it actually tasted nice and fresh. The chicken tasted mediocre, and the sauce was just salty with some spiciness. Overall, I felt like the food was neither good nor good for you… So I will not be returning. On the plus side, this place is quick.

So, Manchu Wok is one of those places where you can definitely depend on for consistent and fast food. Being Chinese, there’s only so much Subway and McDonald’s I can take when traveling through airports. In particular, if I get hit with a delay, things then get pretty rough. For ORD, delays are the rule rather than the exception. Manchu Wok is positioned at the food court located in the nexus among concourses H, K, and G. It is next to a UNO and TCBY, and Subway. The food is served up with either noodles or fried rice as your main starch. From there, you may choose from among 8 or so dishes. You may get either two entrées or three. I always get three because I’m a glutton for guilty pseudo-pleasure. Among the dishes include your American-Chinese mainstays such as general tso’s chicken, pepper beef, kung pao chicken. One interesting non-rotational dishes here is ma po tofu, which is a spicy and salty tofu dish. It’s not exactly authentic, but it’s probably the least Americanized dish on the menu. Anyway, the food here is very flavorful. You can definitely taste the sodium and grease. But consider your alternative choices: Are you tired of the same ol’ bagel shops? Pizza places? Subs? Burgers? Switch things up with Manchu Wok. It’s an ORD tradition for me.
