Fantastic place to get out with family and friends and have some Pizza and drinks. The fried veggie baskets might not be the most healthy choice for an appetizer but boy is it good. It is also nice to get away from the Lincoln Park — Lakeview crowd. The walk through the liquor store and bar to get to the retro dining room is pretty neat.

Ordered from this place off of GrubHub and what I got was just less than satisfactory. I ordered a gyro sandwich with fries, jalepeno poppers, and had a coupon for a free 1 liter soda. First I would like to state if your gyro meat comes in a box, pre-formed in «gyro patties» you should not be able call it a gyro. In Chicago gyro meat is cut off a gyro spit, not that pre-cut box garbage I was fed. The tzatziki sauce, if you could call it that, was just sour cream and grilled instead of raw onions were used. My friends, this is not a gyro, needless to say I threw away 80% of that sandwich. The coupon stated a free 1 liter soda with an order of $ 10 or more. So I ordered the jalepeno poppers to meet the dollar amount on the coupon. What I was given was a CAN of soda. I would like to attribute this to the lack of understanding of the unit of measure, since no one in the US uses the metric system, but that is obviously not the case since a can and a liter of soda are both listed on their menu at different prices, so why would they give a coupon for a free liter and only give a can? To make you meet the dollar amount on the coupon and rip you off that’s why. The only thing edible from my order were the fries and the jalepeno poppers, and honestly those weren’t all that good either. I’m never ordering from here again.

Small pizza joint in the neighborhood. Got off work late last Friday evening, and didn’t really feel like going out. I had decided to order a large pizza for the family with pepporoni and bacon, large order of fries and fried calamari. The food arrived within 45 minutes and got a free 2 liter of 7-Up with it as well, which doesn’t hurt. I think I paid only about 25.00 and some change, which isn’t bad for what I had gotten. The calamari was delcious and the pizza was great too. It was thin sliced but a bit thick too, with just the right amount of sauce. Can’t wait to order from here again.
