The banh mi sandwich station is actually pretty legit! Overall the food seems fresh and things I have tried were good. I’d come here if I were too lazy to walk to Mariano’s for the hot bar. The price per lb is slightly cheaper than Market Thyme in the Aon Center, but they have a few less items. As of May 2016 it’s about $ 8/lb.

I continue to visit this lunch buffet because I like the quality of the food they prepare. Lately the walnut shrimp and the steamed sole are particularly well prepared. They have added a dim sum station and some banh mi sandwiches which is interesting too.

I would give this 3.5 stars if I could, but I can’t, so it gets 3 for it doesn’t rise to 4 stars. They now have a grill with specials. This is my favorite part of this restaurant. They have great panini specials daily for a great price. The new ramen bar is average and the banh mi sandwiches were all wring as far as the correct type of flaky bun that we all love. Breakfast is average too. But, if you like a simple tasty panini, you won’t be disappointed!

A good food court that has pretty much anything you could want for breakfast, brunch, or lunch. When the fancier brunch places in the area are jam-packed, swing by here for quick service. Several food options with plenty of places to sit and eat.

If you want to feast for lunch, this is your spot. I literally feel like i’m having a Thanksgiving meal most of the times i’m here. There are so many options, and it gets me über excited so i end up trying 10 things at once. It’s buffet style, but you pay by the pound. My meals avg out to $ 10-$ 16 with leftovers, but i also get full fast so it’s on the pricey end for lunch. But trust, it’s worth every penny. They constantly fill the trays, so food is hot and steamy. My favorites are the string beans, collard greens, sweet glazed chicken wings, rigatoni in bolognese, & flaky spinach pie. Check in on Unilocal and get 10% off! I somehow always forget to check-in BEFORE paying to take advantage of the discount. Warning: so many great options, all i will say is becareful of the massive food coma after. Good thing i get to walk it off from my 15 min walk back to the office.

Used to stop by for breakfast. Not anymore after today’s visit. No serving spoon for couple of the items and no one to be found to get one. Spills on certain areas on the hot bar and no one around to wipe it up. The scrambled eggs have been extremely runny and today partially raw. I work in the building and now will find a better option from now on.

It was my first time here and I had the OHH Bao. The plum sauce along with the perfectly cooked duck on a rice bun was amazing! I also tried the chicken and it was equally delicious. Tomorrow I’ll have the tofu on a lettuce wrap(I had a sample of the tofu today and it was also sumptuous). I’ll be a regular whenever I’m in Chicago! Today, 12 Oct I had the duck OHH Bao in lettuce wraps and it was also delicious! I also had the Shu Mai dumplings and they were equally sumptuous.

I love this place. I eat lunch here probably once a week or more — especially stopping for a $ 4.00 breakfast. The food is delicious. Everyday there’s plenty of Asian selections and their salad bar is the freshest I’ve ever had. Trays are always being refreshed and the kitchen is cooking real food the whole time. They post the menu daily on their website which is awesome! I’m kind of a picky eater, so having a variety where everything is great is a dream come true. It’s priced by the pound($ 7.50 or so for lunch entrees), so it can be expensive. The most I’ve ever spent was $ 11, so it’s way better than getting the same quality food at a sit-down place. Plus they have bahn mi, grill/sandwich, and bao stations that are all wonderful as well. Highly recommend, especially when you don’t know what you want!

Don’t know what to eat for lunch? Come to Market Creations. It is located in the Prudential Plaza, it offers mostly Asian food, special Chinese. You can get from dimsum, Bao to typical Chinese food. Here also has Bánh Mì, panini and grill. Here the hot food bar and salad bar are sold by pound which can get a little tricky. I didn’t try any of them because I am not a huge buffet fan and I don’t like food sitting out for a long period of time without any lids/covers. I had Shrimp dumpling, sticky rice, roasted duck bao and boba tea instead. And they were delicious. This place gets really crowded around 12pm. So plan your visit wisely. Based on my experience, I would definitely come back here again.

Market Creations is located in the Prudential tower so it’s perfect if you are contemplating on what type of food you want to eat. They have a variety of selections here… and guess what… They also have DIMSUM& Bubble tea which is awesome since I usually don’t have time to go to Chinatown during the weekday to get Dim Sum. Pictures — I tagged the pictures to the wrong Market Creations location [the pictures for Markets Creations that I have are for the Randolph location, not Willis Tower]. Food –I’ve tried the Dim Sum and they were all pretty tasty –I enjoy the spring rolls here… nom nom. Costs: food is sold by pound. dim sum is slightly different though. Unfortunately I haven’t tried anything else yet, but will update as i try more food items Location: Great location for people working in the surrounding buildings(ex: Aon, Illinois Cener, Prudential.) Atmosphere: they don’t have too much seating here, but you can grab food to go(which most ppl tend to do as well). I would come here again. :)

I’m a girl who loves to have 40 different things on her plate. Coming from a Korean background, where we have endless banchan(side dishes) with our bowl of rice, having lots of side dishes on my plate is the way to please my belly! They got American, Chinese, Mexican, and Italian dishes available. There’s also a grill where they can make panini’s and fresh tacos. I finally got up early enough to try their breakfast. Their breakfast is great! I love that I can choose only what I want to eat.

I normally try to get there before Noon or after 1:00pm. Lunch time gets crazy here, but a long line is always a fast line. I would suggest the customized sandwiches/dinners in the back. My go-to are the chicken tacos or the(Tue or Wed?) burrito. Everything is fresh. Only thing I would stay away from is the main buffet. Food seems to sit out for a while(it’s a buffet, so that’s standard) and it’s by the pound so it’s pricey. The only bad thing I’ve had there is their new stuffing. The old recipe was good, so I don’t know what happened. The fruit and salad bar is also fresh.

I can only speak for the stir fry which is create your own and costs under $ 10, I bring my own drink. The other stations are pay by the pound and expensive due to its location in a tourist area.

I should deduct two whole stars because lunch was not great at all, but I am still in love with there breakfast selections. Great for breakfast, but skip for lunch unless you just have to eat here for lunch.

I love Market Creations. It is such a nice alternative to the fast food choices available in my building. I especially love the beer battered sole. They just don’t make it as much as I would like. Ordering from the Grill inside of Market Creations is really good. Made to order BLT or Turkey Burgers. YUM. It is different from other buffets in the fact that the food is fresh and is constantly being replenished. I check the menu on line and see if there is something new, I tried a pork soup and it was delish!

Gosh, what do they put in their buffet spread? Each time I get lunch from their buffet spread, I feel incredibly thirsty the entire afternoon. It’s until the point that my throat actually feels dry. And this is coming from me who drinks an average of 2 liters of water a day to stay hydrated! It doesn’t matter whether I get the Asian spread or American spread– they still make me so thirsty. A lunch consisting of their roasted chicken and mashed potatoes with gravy made me down so much water after lunch. Do they also put msg in their American spread? That said, the food does taste pretty decent… is it because of the msg? Besides the buffet spread, they do have made-to-order burgers, wraps, and sandwiches. So when I’m craving for a cheeseburger for lunch and don’t want to leave the work building, I’ll head to Market Creations. The cheeseburger doesn’t make me thirsty and I like it.

I stand by what I wrote in my earlier review, however, prices have gone waaaay up. It’s now $ 7.38 per pound. When I first started coming here I think it was $ 6.29. One person who works there told me that with the other lunch places that opened up in Prudential Plaza they had to raise their prices, but I think there have been 2 price increases in the last year. Now when I go there I generally use the smaller containers and go after 2pm.

I would give this place 3 ½ stars if possible. I get my lunch from Market Creations a couple of times a week because it’s in my office building. I don’t eat anything from the buffet, however. I almost always get a turkey sandwich – so often, in fact, that the woman who makes my sandwich starts making it as soon as she sees me. I don’t even have to say anything. That’s pretty good service, if you ask me, and the sandwiches always taste great. Every once in a while, I deviate from the sandwich routine and get soup here. I recently had a seafood bisque that was pretty good. I’ve also been known to get breakfast here once in a while – usually just a toasted bagel with cream cheese, nothing fancy. Sometimes they run out of bagels pretty early, which is sort of annoying, but everything tastes fine. The line to pay can get very long at lunchtime, but because there are 5 or 6 cashiers, it always moves quickly. I don’t ever sit down here to eat, but there are signs posted everywhere telling customers to watch their wallets and purses. I think thieves are a bit of a problem. They even had a photo of a thief posted on all the cash registers the last time I was here. In short, this is a quick and easy eatery with pretty decent food.

Anyone that knows me knows that I am a major fan of interesting salad bars and buffets. I love to pick out little bits of different things, since I seem to have a commitment phobia where food is concerned. i only ever want small amounts of lots of different things. My office just moved into Aon, a short pedway excursion away from Market Creations and I can tell I’ll be beating a path there a few days a week. I like the freshness of the salad bar(nice selection of veg). I like the mounds of fruit. I love that they switch things up on the hot side. I keep seeing different options every time I visit, which I love. Today they had tofu! And these really interesting sesame bean balls. It really was pretty exciting. They also have comfort foods like mac and cheese and roasted, sliced chicken if that’s your thing. I haven’t tried any of the«to order» items or the massive cupcakes. I’ll probably just stick with salad bar. And what a glorious one at that!

We decided to finally give this place a try on Friday after walking past it for weeks now! And we LOVED it! I had the veggie burger, which was totally awesome! And my coworker had a mix from the salad bar with fruits added and really enjoyed the variety! Prices weren’t too bad either and the place was nice and clean! Loved it overall!
