As I am partial to McDonald’s, I like to visit locations as I travel throughout the world. Here at O’Hare in Chicago, there are several spots. At this location, they have the yummiest McMuffin of them all — the Steak, Egg and Cheese McMuffin. A very hearty sandwich that keeps me sated at least until I get to the west coast. This McMuffin isn’t offered throughout the fifty states so I’m always so happy when I can find it. It also has grilled onions in it, which really balances everything out. I usually remove one part of the muffin — otherwise I’d be stuffed to the gills! Oh — and because I usually eat the hash brown, the extra piece of bread is just a detail!

This McDonalds is literally the only choice now for anyone arriving internationally at Chicago. Which would be great if you were greeted with typical American style service — but instead the staff there are pretty much based on the British grumpy model. There’s no hellos or friendliness from them, but since typically I’ve only just arrived from the UK when I come to this McDonald’s I can generally get by.

I traveled to Chicago last April for quick getaway and here’s my review five months later. On Terminal 5, Kicking back with friends while waiting for my flight that had been delayed and rescheduled three times. I haven’t had McDonald’s in a long time and I wasn’t planning to either but since there wasn’t any other places around, I went with my friend’s suggestion. More expensive than regular McDonald’s, but since it is located conveniently within the airport, it’s a good enough place to hunker down for hungry and Weary travelers like me. Fries were piping hot and they followed our order of «no salt.» My friends seem to enjoy the burgers, so all in all it was a good experience. Easy access to public restrooms.

Bad service, cold food… you are better off going to the McDonald’s down the road They don’t have bacon and I asked for bacon, egg, cheese mc muffin. But the guy didn’t say he didn’t have it he just took my order than when I came back every worker just stared at me like they can do no wrong and they all just gave me the look of death. Crabby workers. Fire them all(minus the manager who was literally do everything he just needs management skills) and start fresh

Same as every airport’s macdonals, nothing special and food are a little bit expensive from normal macdonals

Big Mac Attack! After a long hard night of drinking, I’ve discovered the best Big Mac in Chicago. This artisan-crafted burger was cooked to perfection(medium-well); the meat was tenderized, juicy, savory; the pickles were really good. The iceberg lettuce(shredded of course) added an amazing texture that had my taste buds saying, «Wow.» The sesame seeds on the bun were divinely distributed and looked like little Easter eggs. Trust me, don’t go to any other restaurant in Chicago. This one’s worth the trip.

Quick and efficient, but not really focused on being too friendly. Good place to get an ice cream cone when hot, though.

Food wise, this is an oasis at one end of the Terminal. Most of the food is at the other end. Despite the fact that they know that they have a captive audience, this McDonald’s is pretty good. Most importantly — almost more importantly than food quality[1] — they’ve got a system set up that allows them to take orders as quickly as possible, and pass the food out as quickly as possible. I’ve never seen food sit at this place; it’s always too busy. You can get your food and be gone in 5 or less, which is great when you’re trying to catch a plane. [1]You are eating at a McDonald’s, after all.

Apparently, this McDonald’s didn’t create a hole in my wallet, which is a good thing, especially at the airport. My McSkillet burrito came immediately after I ordered it.

Had 15 minutes to grab a bite in between flights. My flight from Minneapolis docked at Concourse B — I then had to hoof it all the way over to Concourse C. Fortunately, McDonald’s was right by Gate C15. I grabbed a Filet O’Fish sandwich and wolfed it down before my flight boarded. Hot and crispy with just the right amount of Tartar sauce!
