McDonald’s

Is it me or have the McDonald’s restaurants around the south side have been taken over by hood idiots? I came here the other day for lunch since the location was on the way to my work and it seems as if the workers there spend too much time running their mouths and not getting the orders out because the inside is always crowded and so is their drive thru. I ordered a large sweet tea-​light ice (whoever made the drinks must not have been paying attention when the order called for LIGHT ice), large fries no salt-​fries were cold and soggy when I got my order, and two fish sandwiches (neither barely had tartar sauce on them). I am too through with this location because they don’t seem to be too concerned with the quality of service and making the food. I call them the workers that mommy and daddy had to force to get a job so they can start paying their own cell phone bills and other things like clothes. Either way I am done with this location they’ve just worked my last nerve with the shitty service I’ve received numerous times. Don’t bother going here until they decide to hire some real workers who want to have a job and not just because their parents made them get one.

I won’t say I’m jumping for joy when it comes this McDonald’s because I have had some good experiences and some bad ones.
They are slow and at times it seems like they are moving in slow motion while you are watching them from the sidelines wondering when will you get your food.
I have had some cashiers that just smiled and asked me what my order was and others who look like I just stole their puppy.
The last time I took my granddaughter here to get a Mighty Meal they forgot her apple slices and many people complained about things missing from their order.
The tables were very dirty so I took my napkin to wipe off the table. What I thought was rude is this while my granddaughter was finishing up her burger a lady came and wiped off the table and as the crumbs fell in our laps she said «Oh Sorry!» while we were sitting there and my grandbaby was in mid bite… Who does that?
You can’t clean the table now that we are sitting here or you say something before you begin to place that nasty looking rag on the table where I’m eating.
Why did I give this place 3 stars instead of 1 like so many people have done in their reviews and hey I’m not judging I understand because you only get one chance to make a first impression.
This McDonald’s is in my neighborhood and yes they are slow most of the time but I have also had some great experiences here as well. The food is always fresh and they are employing young people in the neighborhood.
They do need to work on efficiency, timing and customer service for some. They need to read the reviews and maybe even give a survey so they can better serve the community, because I have never gone into this McDonald’s and it wasn’t packed.
Now, if I didn’t live in the area I wouldn’t travel to this McDonald’s just to buy a burger but as long as I’m around I will come back.
They do need to restructure and get their timing together because when you go to McDonald’s you are looking for Fast Food not Slow Food… was that too much… lol
Anyway, I will be back but that’s only because they are close and my grand baby loves getting her McDonald toys.

This McDonald’s has the worse service I have ever seen at a McDonald’s. I watched and listened to the manager curse and rant about how the customers get on his nerves like I wasn’t even sitting there in my car at the window. Like we made him work there. He needs to be put back on fries or something. Nothing dealing with humans at all. And to add to the situation the food was awful. This is not the first time I got bad food and bad service. It’s right up the street from me and I’m never going back. They don’t even deserve me going back to complain…

I had no problem with the service! They were very polite, and the service was fast enough. I have to say that those of you who are bashing this establishment, consider what these employees are paid for their work, consider that this isn’t the greatest area and they get to deal with people (as I noticed) that take quite a while to get their order communicated. Seriously, this isn’t wealthy suburbia, here, but they’re doing their job and the wheels are turning. I was the only person in the place that clearly wasn’t from the area. Do you think they treated me differently, because of it, NOPE! We’re the speakers pumpin’ out Snoop (an all-​time great), YEP! –Lighten up!

How can someone scrw up an order. When you give an order number assigned to a meal. Wrong order. food cold. ridiculous and there was not enough ink in printer to read the frickren reciept

This is the slowest McDonald’s I have ever been to. I just went here for the dollar sundae, so you’d think that would’ve been an in and out experience but no such luck. As if the wait in line wasn’t enough there was another about 10 min wait for the sundae. I wouldn’t come back to this McDonald’s unless I was absolutely starving and had no other options. There are way too many McDonald’s in the city to have to wait for ever at one.

I just left Comer’s Children Hospital with a sick 7 year, sleepy husband that school tomorrow and all of us were hungry. We stopped at two McDonald’s both had people inside and no one ever answered the notification. Well, we caught the lazy, inept workers at the second one (69^th and Lafayette — Dan Ryan). Guess McDonald’s only wishes for exemplary service in OTHER neighborhoods. Uploading to send to corporate. I just saved them a few hundred $$ for a secret shopper — that’s if they care
