The Service was ok and quick… I did like that we were able to get the Burger Build Off finalist– Rio Crisp Burger and ChiTown Classic which were both pretty good. I like McDo locations that allow free refills with soda dispensers not behind the counters

This is a decent restaurant and has perfectly prepared food all around. It’s recently renovated and the only issue I had was that there was some garbage in the bathroom. There is plenty of parking and the rest of the place is clean.

This McDonald’s is a TERRIBLE place to enjoy any meal from the menu !!! What makes it AWFUL is the Customer service! The security from McDonald is SOAGGRESSIVE ! The security guard threat a 17 year old. The security guard told the 17 year old, «I will choke your ass.» Don’t love the service anymore at jefferson park McDonald’s Not even one star !!!

Never thought I would be writing a review for a McDonald’s but this isn’t about their food. To me, their food tastes the same no matter which location you visit — pretty much across the country you get what you expect. The thing that makes this one different is that if you are a frequent drive-thru customer during the day then you have the pleasure to meet Michael at the first window and Elena at the second one. They are the friendliest, happiest, sweetest fast food workers I have ever met. When I get to the speaker and place the same order I always do — a large diet coke in a foam cup — I am met with«I got you Amy» and then smiles, how are you’s, and genuinely kind and funny repertoire. I leave that drive-thru smiling every time the two of them are there!

My experience today was just horrible with the morning people. Their drive thru worker is so rude. He first didn’t get my order right on the speaker then I went by the window and told him he got my order wrong and he was giving me attitude that he got it. Once I got my order it was all wrong so I went inside the store and told them and the lady at the cashier was even more rude saying it was my fault that I didn’t say what I wanted when I clearly said it 3 times. They should really fix there customer service because a lot of people go there since it’s by the train station and they’re just so rude. Never again.

If I could give this place zero stars, I would. They pay a guy to sit in the parking lot and watch people coming in and and out of the parking lot. If you leave the parking lot, they will boot your car and charge you $ 140 to remove it. Earlier today, stopped at this McDonalds for a cup of coffee. I parked in the lot, walked across the street, bought a newspaper, and returned to McDonalds for the coffee. When I came out of McDonalds, there was a boot on the car. The guy who booted my car explained that he witnessed me leave the lot and therefore violated their parking rules. I tried explaining to him that I left the lot to buy a paper, was gone for a whole minute, and then returned to McDonalds to read the paper and have a cup of coffee. His response? Well, you just admitted to your wrong doing. I will never stop at this McDonalds again. It’s possible that I will never stop at any McDonalds again.

I tend to wander around Jefferson Park while I’m waiting for buses and such. Eventually I walked into this place after seeing all the ads for the new bacon club burger. The burger looked good, but just like the«angus» burger I expected disappointment. This Mcdonalds for the most part is kept clean and is not run down. There weren’t many people in here since it was the evening(around 6:30−7pm.) I stepped up to the plate, ordered my bacon club burger combo. It was about $ 7.35 for the combo, a bit steep for Mcdonalds standards so I was expecting something better than average. Boy oh boy was I surprised! Wow I mean whoever prepare this burger must see themselves as a «burger artist» because it looked as if it came straight off the poster. The taste was fantastic as well, is this truly Mcdonalds or was my drink spiked with LSD, making me hallucinate I’m in an alternate reality where Mcdonalds is a 5 star restaurant. I mean there was real applewood bacon on this thing, not the thin bland strips we’re accustomed to. The meat was great, bun looked nice, lettuce was fresh. The sauce they put on it really brought out the flavor, what the heck is going on? As I walked out in disbelief I noted that this place warranted a second visit. Upon my second visit I decided to order different things on the surprisingly off the wall menu here. I haven’t been to Mcdonalds in a while so maybe they made some changes, but I ordered the buffalo ranch McChicken and bbq bacon Mcdouble. Immediately upon walking into the restaurant I spotted what looked like blood on the flood at the registers. Was there a fist fight earlier? Or did one of the«classy» Mcdonalds customers just spit on the floor while they were waiting for their order? Honestly it could be either one. Got my order in under 3 minutes again and ate them while I waited at the train station. Ah, the usual crappy taste of the McChicken/Chicken Sponge only this time paired with cheap ranch and buffalo sauce. One would think with them upping their game with that club sandwich they’d actually soak the chicken in buffalo sauce or at least toss it with the sauce not just throw a few squirts on after it’s been cooked. The bacon Mcdouble had those crappy thin strips and I don’t know what was going on with the meat, but it was like eating a rice cake or something. Something tells me the meat on the Mcdouble was near its expiration date. Overall this place is better than most Mcdonalds. They get your order out fast, don’t have long lines, and from what I’ve seen they have decent people for customers(aside from the mysterious blood on the floor). The new bacon club burger seems to up the standards of the menu, but the rest of the items are still the same crap Mcdonalds has been serving for years with added spins on a few items here and there.

This place has good food. But they will always mess up ur coffee pour it from different pitchers and it tastes horrible. I haven’t been to a MCDonalds that actually had good tasting coffee and won’t make u go to the toilet. Btw If u ask for a fresh cup of coffee they will get rude and won’t wanna do it

OK fine, this is probably my Unilocal jump the shark moment, but whatever. I’m not reviewing McDonald’s exactly, because everyone has had McDonald’s and you don’t need me to tell you what a Big Mac is. You have to grade these sorts of places on their own curve, which is: as far as McDonald’s franchises [or whatever chains] go, is this location better or worse than the norm? I stop here quite often for coffee in the mornings and will get a quick snack on my way home from work on occasion, especially when I’m trying to gain weight(don’t ask). Here’s what I can say: 1.) I’ve never waited more than three minutes for an order, from line to bag in hand, regardless of how busy it is. 2.) They’ve never messed up an order on me. 3.) The food has never been cold. It’s really pretty simple, and they do what McDonald’s is supposed to do, so there. Kudos, Jefferson Park McDonald’s. Chain restaurants all tend to have really awful reviews on Unilocal because no one is reviewing them unless something bad happens. Count this as one tiny blow for justice. (Why only four stars then? Unfortunately, lots of homeless do tend to congregate here during the day because of the proximity to the bus depot. Many are harmless but a few are rowdy. There’s nothing the franchisees can really do about it but it is a drawback.)

Yes it’s a McDonald’s. Yes, it’s a little bit cleaner. But this is a MUSTREAD. The other night, I got not one, but TWOHAIRS in a big mac. I called in and the manager was nice enough to let me pick up another meal that night. But this morning with my bf, we came for breakfast. We ordered two meals. I got the bacon, egg, cheese mc griddle value meal. Him the sausage mc muffin. We ordered two orange juices. = $ 2 a piece for orange juice, right? So when i finished my oj, i asked if they do refills on OJ. They said no. So i went to the fountain bar. Sign reads«limit one refill per customer per visit.» So i refilled with some juice. I got immediately yelled at by a lady behind the counter«You can’t refill. That’s only for people who bought a soda. You need to pay me a dollar.» I ask why. «So… i paid $ 2 for my orange juice. and I can’t get a refill. But the person who paid $ 1 for their soda can???» She says yes. My bf gives her the dollar to keep me from gettin into cahoots. OH yeah. Dollar plus tax. He tells her the sign is misleading. She says«no, it’s obvious the refill is only for people who get soda.» Never coming here again.

Ok, so I’m a dork for reviewing a McDonald’s, but I gotta give a shout-out. We rarely eat in(newly built), almost always drive thru, maybe every 10 – 14 days or so. Everyone’s always nice, friendly. I pretty much resist going to McD’s anytime, but when I do give in to my kiddos, I’m glad to at least have a decent one to drive thru on the way home.

This place is ALWAYS out of Ketchup in the area where customers get their own napkins and ketchup. I recommend asking for Ketchup at the counter when picking up food. One time I went to this location and ordered in-store a regular double cheeseburger. When I went to eat it-the wrapper had a sticker on it stating«No pickles» and«Drive-thru.» I ate the thing, but should not have. Passing off a mistake on me? Wtf?! Another time I ordered in-store and when I was finished ordering the girl at the counter said«that’s to go right?» I said yeah even though I wanted to eat in-store. The lazy moron did not even give me the option of «for here.» I will say however that this location is GREAT for Breakfast. They are on the ball in the daytime. I never will go to this location again other than for Breakfast. Bad attitudes and inept condiment stocking abound here at night. You are better off going to the location at Milwaukee and Elston any night of the week.

Prepare to be nickle and dimed! We went here and were not impressed. Sure the restaurant’s modern and clean, from what I saw, but there were some lackings. We don’t go to McD’s often(once every 4 – 6 months maybe) and we tried a new location passing by. Not only is the dollar menu not a dollar, cheeseburger was $ 1.20 plus they allegedly charge for a wilted piece of lettuce($ 0.20). Then I sat down to eat my food(was starving!) and I open up my southern chicken sandwich and there’s no lettuce or tomato(I didn’t ask for it, but I didn’t know you had to). I’m surprised they didn’t charge for the pickles! I asked for mayo on the side it was nowhere to be found. I went back and they fixed it but the manager charged me $ 0.39 for the tomato slice. I can buy a whole friggen’ tomato for that much at a produce store! Then there’s no napkins anywhere, you had to ask for them behind the counter! Can we include 1 napkin at least per order or should I use my shirt? Then I go to get ketchup and there’s no cups for it, I had to use a pop lid, which was messy. Does that mean they charge for ketchup or were they lazy? Get it in gear, Jefferson Park McDonald’s. If I could go back in time I would have gone to the Subway a block away, and it would have been cheaper and less of a hassle!

Charged me 27 cents for bbq sauce. Receipt was generic said ketchup and bbq. Receipt should be specific or its price fixing and illegal. If we agree to pay for bbq sauce next you know we’ll be paying for ketchup and napkins. One star till receipt gets fixed. Stopped by there again tonight(1-5-2011) with a ton of people behind the counter, hardly any customers in line at the register and with millions of dollars in annual sales, there was no reason for the garbage cans to be over flowing other than poor management.

It’s the same ol Mcdonalds like the rest but it’s the best McDonalds as far as the service goes. It’s the only one i’ve been to that doesen’t screw up your order and the staff is good too.
