Drive through is running a scam. Over charging and happened to be out of printer paper at the time. When asked for a receipt I was told to pull off to the side and wait, 5 minutes later they give me a receipt for less then what I paid. When I brought this to the manager on duty she simply gave me the missing money and walked away… Make sure you check your receipts…

Too often we encounter fast food workers with a ‘devil might care’ attitude. Not at this McDonald’s. On this Saturday afternoon, our server, Cera, handled our order with a smile and genuine care. Other workers would bring freshly-made food to the tables. One helped a patron with walking difficulty to bring food to his seat. Food is pretty much the same at most McDonald’s, but the service here is exceptional!

We ate there on Black Friday it was a clean restaurant and the service was quick. I had nothing to complain about. It’s a McDonald’s and I don’t have of a lot of expectations going to any McDonald’s so if I think it’s clean and the service is friendly I’m happy with it.

Service is awful. They wouldn’t let us add one additional item to our order because our order was complete. Inexcusable.

It’s McDonald’s so there really isn’t a need to comment. I will however say that this location does have a more shall we say, respectable clientele then the McDonald’s I usually frequent near my house in Bucktown… Enjoy Suckas’!!!

VERYDISAPPOINTED w/McD’s management at store #22100. It was Christmas Eve morning and I just wanted a couple of sandwiches so after waiting for one other person to order, the same register person then walks away to help run the drive-thru and not til later comes back to take my order with apparent hesitation. After placing my order I waited, and waited, and waited… I counted THREENEW drive-thru orders get ordered and served before I finally get my order filled! Thanks to the drive-thru attendant walking up to the monitor and asking if my order had been filled and so she can erase it from the pendng orders. I spoke up and said that was mine and I was still waiting. I then soonafter got my order! I sincerely belieive that this is NOT the McDonald’s method of operation! The manager named YESY, ignored my appeal for assistance in this matter in a manner that was unprofessional and undeserving of any further promotions. Whomever the franchisee is should really consider testing all employees on policies and procedures and spending more time watching their store in operation!

This review isn’t so much for the food but for the dining experience. This Mcdonalds serves food as good or as bad as any other McDonalds. This review is focused on this location’s more interesting occupants. I’m not sure how much responsibility a McDonalds has to policing their store, making sure there are no pan handlers, vagrants, etc. I was once asked for money while standing in line at the McDonalds right off Michigan avenue. A customer is a customer, but if a person isn’t a customer and just hanging out and perhaps trying to engage customers in conversation, perhaps a store employee or security guard could ask the person to leave. There is just a bit too much of a dirty sketchy vibe at this location.

I don’t love McDonalds, but I have a 6 year old. 6 year olds love Happy Meals. So because of that reason, I semi-frequent this location. Awhile ago they took out the serve yourself soda fountains. I suppose this is a way for them to save money but it annoyed me as a dine in customer. The worst part is, they also no longer even have ketchup or bbq sauce that you can pump yourself. Do you have any idea how much ketchup a kid requires with their nuggets? The packets don’ t cut it.

I wish I could give this McDonald’s negative stars. I don’t even expect GOOD service from a McDonald’s, I’m happy when I get the right food, or in this case any food. On two occasions this week now we’ve gone to this McDonald’s around 2:30AM. The first time the drive thru guy said that he would be right back. We waited close to 10 minutes before driving away because he never returned. Last night around the same time we waited for around 10 minutes with absolutely no response. We drove up to the window. The only person working looked at us, and didn’t acknowledge the fact that we were there at all. We knocked, and waited a few more minutes before we left. I called the store to complain, and the manager was dismissive and extremely rude to me. I rarely complain about anything, but the fact that the service in this store is so abysmal is absolutely unacceptable.

Let me preface this review with the fact that I like McDonald’s food. Yeah, it’s fatty and processed but it tastes freakin’ good so I am not going to play that«Oh it’s just so gross I never eat gross things» card. Just like Coke tastes better than Diet Coke but I don’t drink it for fear of getting a fat ass, McDonald’s taste like heaven. What better day to go to McDonald’s than on the good ol’ USA’s Birthday? I figured you can’t get much more patriotic than that so I had Mike drive my hung over bum to the Golden Arches.… Although the food here tastes exactly the same as any other McDonald’s in America, the service here is PAINFUL. The first cashier wouldn’t look me in the face and or /respond to me when I ordered. Then, halfway through my order she decided she was done, told someone else to take my order because he was«training», and walked away. WTF? So this guy comes over and I continue my order.. .but come to find out, the first half of the order walked away with that incompetent loser who originally waited on me. After I paid(in two parts) I discovered the Diet Coke machine was broken(please read earlier rant about my ass getting fat) AND then I waited and waited to learn they were out of chocolate shakes(OK so this cancels the Diet Coke anyway). It took THREE people to tell me they were out which apparently is a more involved team effort than order-taking. When I asked for a refund and you would think I just told them I was going to hold up the store. Honestly.. . I will never come here again — even on July 4th. This McDonald’s doesn’t make America look very beautiful at all.

I’m just shocked that the whole«chicken select» phenomenon does not get more press. I rarely eat at McDonald’s, but I have eaten at this particular one. As a child, I would almost always get chicken nuggets — worked my way up from 6 piece to 9 piece to 20 pieces and beyond. I could even keep it down. Anyhow, the old chicken nuggets were just fried pieces of chicken rib mashed with chicken feet, etc. Then a few years ago after many years of testing came the«Chicken Select» — its like another world. McGriddle are cool too. Fruit — what a fast food concept. Again, I rarely eat there or any fast food joints, but you gotta hand it to them — they’ve gotten better.
