The place is really nice to watch a game, I ordered a couple Burgers for my wife and I and they were okay, I might go back with a Groupon, very large selection of beers, waitress was fine as hell…;)

If I could give less than one star I would. My boyfriend and I would stop in here once every week or so for drinks and had the absolute worst experience ever today. I ordered a Founders Rubaeus that was listed on the menu and the bartender brought over a bottle of Not Your Fathers Rootbeer. I informed her that was not what I ordered and received the response«well, I already opened it so you must pay for it». I disagreed with her and stated I should not have to pay for a beer that I did not order and that was her mistake for opening. She again stated she would have to charge me for it, but would be «nice» enough to discount it 50%. At that point I had enough and told my boyfriend we just needed to close the tab and leave. I refuse to give a place that has standards like that our hard earned money. They should definitely revisit their standards if they want people to choose to frequent their establishment.

Cute place. Bartenders have no idea what’s going on. Ordered a mojito and was served a watered down drink with no ice and molding mint leafs. They were very nice about me sending it back and swapping it for a beer. Overall fun if you live in the area not something to go Out of your way for.

I spent a great evening there with my boyfriend. Food was good. Thanks our server, she was great. It’s perfect place for date.

Was skeptical about coming here after all the reviews but gave it a shot anyway. They show UFC here which is great, and there is no cover charge. The food was great. We have the calamari, stuffed jalapeños and the Korean bbq wings. The atmosphere is really laid back, you almost feel as though you’re in someone’s house. You don’t feel rushed, services was attentive. They also have a good selection of beers.

I want to like this place. It has a great set-up and atmosphere but the food is sub-par and takes a long time to come out. We bought a groupon and went for brunch this weekend. I ordered the steak and eggs. The eggs which I ordered over easy were half-way cooked through and the steak was almost crispy. It tasted ok and I was able to eat it but I would not get it again. My fiancé was with me and ordered the french toast. The portion seemed really tiny and it looked like burnt pieces of actual toast smothered in syrup. He said it was nothing special but managed to eat the entire thing. The service was good and our waitress was very nice. They have a lot of couches and TVs which would be great for games. Will I go again for brunch? No. But I am definitely going back to see how it is during a game!

I was looking for a place for lunch for a business meeting one day and my usual haunt across the street wasn’t open. But Mojo was, and that was the beginning of a beautiful relationship. The place is just right, with plenty of TVs and couches I don’t find in other sports bars like it. The fact that they have an amazing variety of beer doesn’t hurt my feelings either. The food is somewhere between good and great. I’ve never had anything I didn’t like and some of it is fantastic. They’re not afraid to try new things, and a few of the burgers and fresh soups are fantastic. And where else can you get warm fried donuts with chocolate and caramel for dessert? Maybe somewhere else, but these are awesome. And now that there is trivia every Thursday night, it’s genuinely a blast to be there sometimes. There isn’t a bad attitude in the place and these days that is something I don’t mind paying for. Is it gourmet food and pretentious drinks? No! You want that, go somewhere else. If you want to go somewhere that you feel good about spending your money, and getting a good deal in the process, go here.

Food was excellent, waitresses were nice, and bar and location were great too. Portion size was great too(I like to eat: D). I will DEFINITELY be returning!

Burgers are frozen patties that are bought, same quality as Burger King down the street. Why have the servers ask us «how would you like that made?» when your patties a bought frozen and not house made? Very disappointing. Music was way too loud for just one couple dining in and the owner didn’t seem to care. Skip this place and go to Bad Apple for a good burger.

Ordered a classic club and guacamole & chips to go. The guacamole & salsa portions were served in 2oz cups, essentially enough dip for 4 chips. Charging $ 6.50 for that appetizer is ridiculous. The classic club came with soggy fries and was made on bread that seemingly resembled wonder bread. The sandwich had little to no flavor. Complete fail. With a little effort this place could probably be decent, but it has lost my business.

It’s a 5 stars place for sure! The food was grate. Me and my boyfriend was ordered burgers which were making pretty fast. They have big choice of beer that pleased us. The waitress was very attentive and checked us every 15 minutes. If u want to have a good time and enjoy watching the game, this is perfect place to do it!

I visited this establishment with my family in hopes of having a decent experience at least. We called in advance because so many of us were coming, however when we arrived we had found out they double-booked the largest booth they had. This created some awkward tension between us and the other party that wanted the table. When matters were resolved, we ordered our food. I spilled my water on myself and sat up, water everywhere, however the waitress did not flinch and asked me for my order. I was thinking in my head, «Is it not obvious that I need either a rag, towel, or towels? I have water everywhere!» We ended up using the napkins for coasters to clean it up ourselves. After 45 minutes,(which was a long time in my opinion to receive bar food), we received our food. I had the steak tacos. The tortillas were stale, and did not fold when I ate them. The cheese was off. But I ate them because I was hungry. Less than decent. The next day, I spent my time throwing up every last bit of food and liquid in my system. I will never forget such an awful event, as it was the first time I had ever experienced food poisoning. I purged from 2:30am until 2:30pm. I spent the rest of that day sleeping and recovering. If it had not been implied, I will surely never return here. The poor customer service and poor quality of food were too much for me.

I’m giving them 5 stars because some of the ratings slammed this place when it 1st opened. I have a feeling some of these bad reviews are coming from the neighboring bar across the street. It’s really is a prefect place to watch a game. I can’t think of a better bar with TV coverage. It’s lounge areas are very nice, and over all, the place has a nice upscale bar theme. They always seem to have specials, and the beer list is fairly solid. I’ve had the burgers a few times, and thought well of them, but you can find better burgers around the hood. Where this place does shine is their brunch! They do this up right, and their coffee is top notch! All coffees are done Americano style, and I think they use Intelligentsia. This is easily my fav quick bunch spot, especially for the price, and there is never a wait. If you are looking for a laid back bar, with good food, and a solid beer list, with excellent TV coverage for a game, then this is your place. Especially for Sunday football for breakfast and beers. You will never have issues of not seeing a TV in this place I recall seeing a bloody mary bar too.

HORRIBLEEVERYTHING. Sign outside lists about ½ dozen $ 5 lunch specials. Tried to order the Pasta W/mushrooms, but was told it’s not part of the specials-the sign is old. Okay, went for a burger which was beyond disappointing taste wise. Waitress never once came by to check on us, even tho we were the only 2 peeps in the place. Bill came: 2 $ 5 burgers + 5 diets cokes = $ 21 !?! They do NOT have free soft drink refills. Waitress VERY reluctantly adjusted the bill. Don’t know how they survive w/Leader Bar(soooo much better) across the street. Will NEVER go back.

Mojo is a really nice place. It’s set up as like half lounge/half sports bar. It sounds weird but it works. I’ve been here three times now, and its been great every time. Good specials, solid beers on tap. The beer list is pretty extensive. I had the burger and their mojo wrap, both were good. Nothing special, but I didn’t really head here expecting 4 star dining. Mojo is better than the two adjacent bars. Service is friendly and prompt. It’s never crowded, but don’t let that dissuade you.

I’m not sure what all the bad reviews are about, but I had a great time when I went here. I stopped by after the pride parade because someone recommended the Sunday bottomless bloody maries. To be honest, based on the location I was expecting some sort of hole-in-the-wall joint. I was so surprised to find a classy atmosphere with super comfortable lounge chairs. Beautiful setup. Plus, there was a Sunday special so I got a huge gourmet-ish steak salad for only 5 bucks. It was so delicious that I felt sort of guilty knowing the price, haha. And the waitress serving us was this really cute Ukrainian girl– she was so nice and responsive. Altogether I felt like I was experiencing downtown quality all the way out in Irving Park, which was really unexpected. I’ll definitely go back to try their 5 buck burgers and maybe sit on the patio.

The service is a slap in the face by an elderly woman on your birthday. The food is a joke about your hair catching fire on the subway. The staff are bowling pins, both inanimate and easily knocked down. Does any of this make sense? NEITHERDOESMOJO! Seriously, it’s pretty terrible and I’v been to Susie’s Drive in! What would have been a casual night at a local eatery turned into a nightmare on meh street. Took 45 minutes for our food. We were never brought water even though we asked. The waitress must have just wandered in from Narnia and put on a apron. The crowd was akin to a broke-down cantina from star wars. The tab came almost an hour after we asked for it. Save yourself the energy.

That’s it. I’ve had it with the family who has owned this business and the last few restaurants at this location. Do the neighborhood a favor and sell it to someone who can properly run it… the neighborhood really wants something to patronize, but please make it be worth our money and stop insulting us with the worst service, ineffective management and terribly prepared food. Two months ago at this incarnation of the restaurant my boyfriend and I were the only people who were in the restaurant for a good 45 min before family members of the owner showed up. That’s great that the family wants to support the business, but don’t allow the children to run around the restaurant. It’s annoying to your paying customers. We ordered an appetizer and I ordered a cocktail. Again, we were the only people there and it took 15 min for my drink to be made. Our appetizer showed up when our dinner was brought out. My boyfriend ordered a medium-rare steak that came out well done and was impossibly chewy. My burger was also cooked well done even though I asked for it to be cooked medium. Last night a sign was posted on their door saying their license was suspended. Take a hint guys, this isn’t working out.

This was the after thought bar because Leader and Pitchfork was full. The service was a little rough at first but I don’t blame the server. She was the only one serving DURING A BLACKHAWKSPLAYOFFGAME!(Game 7!!!) Finally a second server arrived and service improved. Kudos to the lonely server for keeping her composure, with a full house. The burgers are good. I had the Azteca burger and it was tasty. My husband had the pulled pork one and he very much enjoyed it. Good selection of beers and you can even build your own bloody Mary’s. Overall, four stars. This place has potential, just needs better management.

HOLYMOTHEROFBEEP. I am writing this review from inside of the MOJO establishment as we speak. I am waiting for the hidden camera crew to come out because this has to be a joke. Spent 20 minutes sitting in the bar before a waitress even made eye contact and then waited 5 more before getting a drink order. The waitresses have no idea what is going on, and right now I’m staring at 3 of them huddling around the POS computer trying to figure out how to get this half empty bar their checks. I ordered a turkey club and got chicken, asked for a refill of water and they took my cup away and never came back. My friend drank three PBRs and was charged for 4. The special was $ 5 per drink and she got charged $ 6. I brought a group of 4 in for trivia and we got third place which on the website is a $ 20 gift card and they instead offered shots. This place sucks.
