Perfectly adequate for picking up a generic six pack on your way to get a pizza or heading out on the train, but obscure or interesting. Cash only is a little bit of a hassle, too. Unless you’re short on time, go to Rogers Park Fine Wine & Spirits.

One long narrow store – very cramped so try not to go when busy. Oddly, this place has a decent selection of wine and beer. However, while the beer prices are very good, the wine is overpriced and you can’t be sure about the taste – of the two bottles of red I’ve purchased here, one was fine, but the other tasted as if it had been kept at too warm a temperature. Of course, this is not a gourmet wine market, so what can you expect? The counter staff are efficient and friendly. The clientele is(this Unilocaler excluded) sketchy and crazy – such as women buying 40ozers for their mans and paying with pennies, nickels and dimes.
