Mr Hookah

I enjoy this hookah joint. The prices are better than the area surrounding places. Most of the chairs are comfortable and the tables are adult size, not those mini table which I wind up banging my knees on. The service is attentive and not bothersome. The owner is usually on site so there are no issues or problems they don’t immediately address. I enjoy the selection of flavors; they carry my favorite and have introduce a few flavors I’ve never tried. I would recommend this place especially if you are a med size party. Try em and I’ll see ya there :)

This was not my favorite hookah bar. I haven’t been to a hookah bar in like 4 or 5 years. The employees here were very nice. The place is hella smokey. The have vents, but I don’t think they were working. We ended up here last night after dinner because none of us wanted to go to bar but we still wanted to hang out and talk. We tried two other hookah spots before stopping here. This one was the only one that had space for us. It was a nice chill evening.
I’m not really a fan of their two people per hookah. 2 out of the 6 didn’t smoke and I didn’t see a bill so I’m not really sure how much the bill was.
They do have a cork fee. I know the two who drank were not really pleased about that.
They don’t have cards which was a bummer. We would have loved to play some rummy while we sat there.
The seating does not look anything at all like the photos on here. They’re kind of old and dingy, but not a deal breaker.
They offer French vanilla and hazelnut coffee. They have only one tea and it’s not mint.

Hookah tasted like air mixed with coal. The hookah also looked tacky and looked like someone took a sharpie and drew all over them. The chairs were all stained and the place looked filthy. You cant even lock the bathroom door. It also ended up costing $ 22 for one hookah with three people! Im not sure why people are saying the prices are so great. 2 stars because service was decent.

I forgot about this place! When I was a younger lad I was in and out of this place, left and right. This lounge being owned by fellow countrymen had me coming back for different hookah mixes flavor with flavor. Years have past and I’ve drifted away from my hookah I’m back as of now and am excited to try the flavors!

This is such a great environment! Great hookah with amazing flavors! The guy who makes the hookahs is always fast paced and consistently making sure you have what you need. My favorite flavor is white gummy bear/​blueberry. I’ve been going here at least 3 – 4 times a week for a year now and absolutely love it. The people are very friendly and the seats are so comfortable. The owners are super nice and know how to run their business correctly. Always so friendly making sure you have what you need, making you feel like your smoking a hookah at home. The tv is always playing NFL, NBA and all kinds of channels! I recommend this place to anyone looking to relax with some shisha!

Have even coming here for years. Great friendly environment. Comfortable seating. Great tasting hookah. Super clean which is pretty major for a hookah establishment. Honestly, this is a pretty legit chill spot with NBA, NFL and all great games are always playing on the TV.
Service is pretty top notch. Charcoals are always lit. My favorite flavor is always on deck which is white gummy bear by fumari… AWESOME. Price is super low compared to other surrounding hookah bars.
All that matters is that this place is affordable, clean and has great service.

I think there are way too many teeny boppers, and the place seems kinda dirty. There are so many other hookahs in the city that are better.

A friend recently introduced me to this hookah lounge and I loved it. Great time for this new mom ;) She gave me the option to go here or go to a bar for drinks and I’m glad I picked hookah. Actually reviewing this place because I was looking for directions to go again. The place has a very friendly owner and the prices are great. I believe $ 12 for each hookah. Great time especially if you have great company.

This is an alright place for hookah. It’s populated by high school kids and the atmosphere is mediocre at best. There is no music playing and the seats seemed dirty. The guy working was very nice but they seemed to be understaffed as he was working the full room and hence he was a little slow to get around to us. But if you’re looking for a place to hookah and not concerned for atmosphere and can put up with annoying looking high school kids then this place is fine as the hookah was thick and nice.
I’ve certainly experienced better.

My friends and I decided that we were going to go hookah as a last hoorah sort of thing before we all went back to school… when we went on Unilocal,this place was cheap, nearby and had a good amount of stars so we decided to go here. When we got here, it was pretty crowded (it was around 9pm) on a Friday night to the point where we took the last free table. I’m not a person who hookahs regularly so its a bit harder to talk about that but let me just lay down some things about the service and ambiance…
The service wasn’t that attentive because he was helping regulars and favorites. There were so many high schoolers which was so annoying. Its not great at all when you can hear people at the next table talking about how they still need to do their college applications. High schoolers kept walking in and hanging out with their friends at other tables for 5 minutes and then would just leave. Maybe that’s why they were so crowded — they let underage people in, I don’t even know.
The hookah itself was decent — clean, tasted good and the staff helped when he walked by and noticed that I did something completely wrong since no one else was there. Honestly, Id give it a 3 on another day because it wasn’t BAD but the ambiance and crowd knocked it down.

My only hookah spot for the last few years. I’ve been to many hookah joints that’s don’t provide a clean hookah. Good crowd and a friendly touch by the owners. Ask for the mint flavor.

If you’re looking for a really nice hookah bar, this isn’t the place to go. I’m not saying it’s a bad hookah bar, but at first glance, you may be put off by the loud atmosphere, young crowd, and subpar service.
However, Mr. Hookah is a place of bros. They’re welcoming, the don’t ask for much, and they treat you like you’re supposed to be there. After going a few times, you’ll notice that even if it isn’t glamourous, it feels like you can just kick it with your friends. Put on a pair of sweats, grab a 6-​back (BYOB), and chill at Mr. Hookah on a Friday night. That’s the kind of place this is. If you don’t expect much, you’ll get more than you asked for.
Not to mention that they only use top of the line Starbuzz shisha, and if you don’t know how to maintain a hookah, they’re more than willing to help you out. Come on a Friday night and you’ll always see me and my friend John.

I love this place, great service! and good hookah flavors! … the only thing that bothers me a little is that they remodeled the place and now have tables with chairs set up like a restaurant in three rows personnally I prefer the old couches they had before ;(.

i go to mr hookah at least once every week. Its a great place to smoke real traditional middle eastern hookah, and has a wonderful atmosphere. great place to take a date or just hang out with friends. the flavors are endless and they are very clean. it is very afforodable and its a perfect location right off the kennedy high way. go there i have been to at least 12 different hookah bars around chicago and this is defiantly my favoriate all different cultuers of people inside. my list goes like this #1 mr hookah, #2 koosh on dempster. #3 ambrosia on fullertin and shefield. and i can defiantly say the worst experiance i have ever had was hubble hookah on harlem, 2 thumbs down. oh also ugly hookah on bryn mawr and kimble. i really enjoyed that place.

I went to this place a few times and I was constantly overcharged and the person who was serving me was very rude. Terrible customer service.

Mr. Hookah has to be one of my favorite hookah bars I’ve ever been to, hands down!
I’ve been to several other hookah bars and I always find myself going right back to Mr hookah.
the prices are reasonable and the service is great! Very laid back and individual comfy couches

I’m not from Chicago but I was visiting there and I had the chance to go to Mr Hookah. One of the best Hookah bars! Awesome atmosphere, hookah and service. Go there If you want a real hookah!

great place to smoke a hookah, the hookah taste great everytime and always fresh… service is great
if i could handle it i would go there every night
