never a fan of leaving 2 star reviews but I felt the need to do so in an effort to give some constructive criticism. I am a lover of all things cupcake and sweet for that matter and after a tour around the Daley plaza food truck fest today I decided to stop over for a sweet treat. With Ms, Tittles bring the only dessert truck my options were limited so I gave them a shot. Hate to say it but I was very underwhelmed. I’ll start with the packaging, they stored the cakes in plastic rocks glasses with a cover, these cups smash the cupcake inside so a good amount of frosting is stuck to the cup when you pull the cake out. This wouldn’t be a huge issue but since the cake itself needs the frosting it brings me to my next point… the cupcakes are very dry, not a hint of moistness. I had the apple pie and pumpkin spice cupcakes and only a couple bites of each since they were just too dry. It wasn’t all bad, the flavor is nice, not overly sweet and the frosting has a great texture. I think with either the addition of a filling inside the cupcake or just a more moist cake these could be salvaged. All the best Ms. Tittles.

First of all, Ms. Tittle is a sweetheart. I didn’t try her cupcakes, but I am a total sucker for homemade cookies, so of course I bought a 10 pack of her butter cookies(don’t judge me). Ten nice sized homemade butter cookies for $ 5 is a good deal in my book. The cookies were delicious! I may or may not have ate half of them immediately upon my return to my desk at work ;)

Listen… let me tell you about these cupcakes. Red velvet cupcakes have a(deservedly so) bad rep for being dry and tasteless except for the cream cheese frosting. But these red velvet cupcakes were the best I’ve had. They were super moist and most importantly, the cake itself had a rich chocolaty flavor that even had an amazing after taste. I can tell cupcakes are homemade and not made from a pre-mix. The size of the cupcake was perfect. It wasn’t so big that you felt guilty but it was enough to leave you satisfied. The price point is good too. Many cupcake places are overrated, but this is not one of them. I also had the lemon cupcake which was also wonderful because the cake itself was lemon flavored and not just the frosting.

My husband and I encountered Ms. Tittle’s cupcakes at a food truck festival in Schaumburg. Ms. Tittle was very friendly and helpful. This is in no way a slam on her. The cupcakes were good and 2/$ 5. They were small cupcakes, not the giant ones we were expecting like from the other trucks. And… they were somewhat dry. So dry that my husband choked on the crumbs. I thought my German chocolate cupcake was delicious, well the frosting was. My cupcake was pretty dry as well. However, this was a food truck festival so it’s possible she made them the day before. If we encountered her truck again, I would pass for a more moist cupcake.

We had Ms. Tittle come out for a church event. She was so easy to work with even with our group 300. The cupcakes are amazing — the Turtle cupcake was a crowd favorite. I will most definitely be calling Ms. Tittle again !

3 regular size cupcakes for $ 5. So far I tried german choc and choc w choc frosting. Great. Not overly sweet and(unlike a higher priced cupcake truck I tried,) these were very moist. We will be back. Fair price for delish cupcakes. Thanks Ms. Tittle
