Steer clear from here! Too bad there’s not an option for «no» stars. Dropped off a $ 350 vacuum for service on the motor after 1 year. They fixed the motor, but broke something else upon return. Tried to bring it in on a Sunday afternoon during their «open» hours, but they were closed and doors locked. Got wise to that so called first before dropping it off to ensure someone would actually be there when dropping it off yet again for service. Next day received a phone call stating vacuum was ready for pick up on Saturday 10am-​7pm. Showed up on Saturday at 11:15 but store was closed/​locked. How frustrating! I’d rather go out and buy a new vacuum other than having to plan my schedule around this store’s hours. May as well just be closed.

I’ve been meaning to write this, as it is well deserved. Between my daughter’s art project and our Golden Retriever, I had managed to clog up our vacuum cleaner. Where most places would have charged me to fix it and clean it, Cindy very nicely open it up and cleaned it right then and there free of charge. It wasn’t the most pleasant job either. She also told me that we could use our Oreck Orbiter to clean carpet. Who knew?! It works and works well! To sum this review up, Cindy’s service was outstanding! She made me a lifelong customer. Thanks Cindy!

THEY LOST MY VACUUM! I brought it in for a free tune-​up; it turned out to need a new part. I didn’t pay much attention to my receipt; all it does is prove that –I– OWE –THEM– for the replaced part. When I find that darn receipt, Oreck will be in a world of pain!

I went here last July and paid over $ 130 for a full tune-​up on my vacuum. It never worked right after that and I was replacing the belt after each and every use. The staff was extremely unhelpful and took no responsiblty for the problem. They copped that «attitude» mentioned by other reviewers. I would try another location. I did email Oreck corporate and they lamely apoligized and sent me some carpet crystals… great.

Do not bring your business to this place. I dropped off a vacuum cleaner for repair on a Friday. The lady at the front desk told me I’d get a call Monday with an estimate. No call Monday. I called Wednesday and left a message. No call back. Two weeks later I call and get the same lady on the phone. When I ask her what the happened, she has the gall to cop an attitude and offers zero explanation for why she blew me off for two weeks. When I press further, she hangs up on me. Real classy.

I inherited my mother’s Oreck vacuum a few years ago and have it maintained here. Nice, low-​pressure staff (they are good about clarifying the difference between must-​have and nice-​to-​have repairs). They do the work right, and I’m able to go years in between tune-​ups.
It’s not cheap, but it’s certainly less expensive than a new vacuum.
