Palette

I’ve had my own art framed at many places around the city. I can honestly say that none were great — most were passable. This year, for Christmas, I decided to resurrect a drawing my husband worked very hard on in architectural school and have it framed for his new office. I found Palette (Darrell) while browsing Unilocal,and based on his other reviews, decided to pay him a visit. He’s a great guy. We spent hours going over framing options. The final product was outstanding. The quality of the work and was beyond my expectations and he delivered it to me on Christmas Eve! Who does that?
My husband is living 2000 miles away at the moment and we wanted to ship the piece to his new office. Darrell has a phenomenal shipping technique that allows the piece to float inside the packaging which protects it from damage. He checked with us on several occasions to make sure everything arrived ok and we were happy.
BAM! 100% satisfaction. Can’t say enough. The Best.

I took a couple of pieces to other frame shops around town looking for a real unique custom frame, but was unimpressed… then I ran across Palette. Darrell was incredibly helpful and was able to design two completely one of kind frames/​mats/​designs that really make both of the pieces shine. For the quality of work and amount of care they take with each project, their pricing is VERY reasonable. I can’t wait to hang these on my wall. Highly recommended!

After trying a number of chain framing stores that offered few options and high prices I found Darrell and Palette. He was so attentive, helped me find ways to bring costs down while finding the perfect frame for my print. I LOVE the finished piece, paid less than I was quoted at any other store, and Darrell even delivered it free of charge! In addition to all of this, he was as nice as can be and even helped keep my daughter entertained while we chose frames. I am so glad they are right in the neighborhood and can’t imagine going anywhere else for framing after the outstanding experience we had with Palette — highly recommended!!!

Darrell and staff did an outstanding job of helping us pick out frames for over 12 concert posters and pictures. He put an acrylic coating to help them preserve them and the finish is really amazing. Every one of our house guest is incredibly impressed by the frame choices and workmanship. Top notch customer service and highly professional work at Palette. I won’t be going anywhere else for framework.

My wife and I have had several pieces done by Darrell at Palette and we have never been disappointed. My favorite was a signed jersey that was a present from my wife. He did an amazing shadow box for the jersey, one of the best I’ve seen. On top of that, he dropped it off at our front door… ON CHRISTMAS EVE! I guarantee you cannot find the same kind of customer service anywhere. The pricing is the best in the city. Darrell actually tries to save you money rather than upsell (they don’t charge for multiple matting cuts, which no one else does). They also do some very unique laminations that look great but are very reasonably priced. You need an appointment, so call ahead. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I haven’t had too many pictures framed in my life, but this experience makes we want to get everything close to me framed.
The staff at Palette is very knowledgeable and attentive. Their process includes spending a lot time with each customer. They assist you with pairing endless borders and frames with you to create something that you’ll be happy with for years to come.
I highly recommend taking any poster or old framed pictures there. This will certainly make them the highlight of your home.
