My French fries were severely undercooked. So was my pizza. And my donuts are hard. Never ordering again.

This one’s a really nice place with pretty décor and it’s only 7 minutes walk from my place so I wonder why’d it took me so long to discover it. That might not seem extraordinary that my fav is cheese pizza forever but they do it awesome! Impressed by a portion size btw, and that’s a great value for money! Haven’t tried the delivery service yet but I think if they treat customers who order pizza from home just like they serve the ones who come straight to the pizzeria, it’s pretty good as well, as they were being super nice and friendly with me while I was there.

Delivery service is not bad actually: they may come at any moment during the period of time they’ve estimated for their driver to reach the destination, it takes them approximately 30 – 35 minutes in general though — not that long. Pizzas are worth waiting anyway! I’ve been waiting for my cheese pizza for exactly thirty minutes and when I’ve finally got it ’twas hot and delightful !!! Great service for passable money, You guys had done a wonderful job to the service in comparison what it was like long ago, so proud of u!

I’m of a pizza-addict kind and I’m quite choosy when it comes to pizza: I’ve tasted a lot of different pizzas and there were totally disgusting ones among them. However pepperoni pizza, though quite young a small place, impressed me pleasantly with their wide choice of different kinds and flavors and the quality is pretty good as well as the price(which is not a problem for good pizza but still). Ordered a meat one and that was delicious ! It’s so awesome that I’m convinced it may be a good reason for some people to stop being vegetarian after all ;)

I had to leave Chicago a year ago because of my job and I came back for a while recently. I came to see my family and my bro asked me to take him out for some pizza and I obviously agreed and looked up the closest pizzeria to our home. I chose one which eventually turned out to be Pepperino which I remember being disappointed with before I had left, and when we got in I was like«wow». I mean this place is not the one I remember anymore — everything’s changed since my last visit: the service which used to be poor is now excellent and speedy, everybody’s polite, there were actually sooo many improvements done to it. Well I was totally impressed with what they’ve become, btw I loved the pizza we’ve had(I would highly recommend that one but I’m not sure I remember the name — however, it was something with sausages)

Reading the reviews, it seems that ordering delivery is not the way to go, so on a break between shows we walked over from the United Center. It’s a tiny little, with only three employees visible, one the delivery driver. We ordered a personal Roma(sausage, tomatoes, feta, garlic onions, peppers) on a thin crust and it was heaven. The ingredients and sauce tasted absolutely fresh and vibrant, and we were able to watch our pizza roll out of the oven in front of us. We ate in at the little counter by the window and watched a delightfully awful movie(Ferocious Planet) they were showing on Netflix. There are dispensers of seasoning and bottles of hot sauce right there, which was also awesome. I’ll be back at the arena next week, and I’m definitely coming back for another pizza.

worst experience ever! 1501 w madison st! manager was awful! i ordered 15 buffalo wings & they were disgustingly hot! too hot to enjoy! i called the establishment to complain to the management and try to find a solution and the manager told me verbatim«i don’t know what to tell you. i don’t know what you want me to do.» as a manager you should be able to rectify the situation to some degree. i can’t believe i had to deal with someone so incompetent and so poorly trained that they didn’t care what kind of serviced a customer received. the manager did not care that i was unhappy with my order & only cared about getting their money. i’m basically out of 19 dollars because of an incompetent, ignorant, unprofessional so called«manager.» how disgusting. i will never patron this terrible shitty business again!

Ordered two calzones and a large french fry last night. All of it showed up stone cold. The delivery driver reeked of marijuana. I complained to the manager and was told I would not get a refund. I would never order from this terrible place again

I would give ZERO stars if it was an option. I placed an order for delivery at around 11pm the first week of december. I ordered a large meatball pizza and an order of cheese fries. i was hesitant to order the cheese fries because i know how delivery food can get but they insured me they would stay fresh. NEVER listen or trust the person taking your order, you need to be an educated customer in your own right. The guy also recommended meatballs as a topping, said they were his favorite. The pizza arrived, warm but just soggy and floppy, what a discharge to even call yourself chicanos greatest pizza. I would call dominos chicagos decent pizza. Pepperinos is chicagos crud pizza and a simple lazy disgrace to all pizzas out there. The pizza was 1/10, it had no flavor, was soggy, droopy, and undercooked! it needed at LEAST2 more solid minutes in the oven. Thats not me asking for well done thats asking for a firm finished pizza not a rushed sloppy mess. The meatballs i discovered were store-bought frozen meatballs, and also none of their meats are fresh, all frozen and shipped on trucks, VERYCLASSY. The cheese fired fell short as well as i assumed they would but was assured they wouldn’t! they were so dry and soggy the old melted nacho cheese probably years old couldn’t make them good enough to eat, a waste of an additional 4 $ on top of the pizza. When i called in to complain about the quality of the food the manager told me he would kindly refund my order price, and invite me in to their restaurant to have a tour to make sure their ingredients were top of the line and try to win me back as a customer. I declined his offer of his«kitchen tour» but gladly accepted the refund of my shanty sloppy disgrace of an order. He said i would have the money refunded on my card in the next couple business days. Now here we are, manager confirmed me a full refund, but still waiting over 2 weeks later to see anything on my bank statements. i started calling in once every couple days this week and keep getting told the manger is out and they will leave a note for me. This is just a disgrace of a business, the owner needs to handle his customer service if he thinks he is taking this business ANYWHERE but BANKRUPTCY. i suggest you order from REAL chicago pizza like piqods, giordanos, lou manatis, or even dominos, because they are a step up from quality and consistency that these JOKERS. I will edit this once my money is refunded but that does and will not change my opinion of the pizza quality, and being lied to over the phone by a niece employee about their all frozen shipped ingredients then getting turned around and lied to by their bosses assuring only the«Freshest of ingredients, sir» Don’t Lie to your customers. We will bite back.

Order pizza via Grubhub. While the Pizza(meat lover’s) tastes good(albeit expensive for what you get) the customer service on this place is TERRIBLE. Our pizza arrives about an hour late and cold(we live about a mile from the place) but they forget part or our order. They say they will come back with our full order in 20– 25 minutes but no, it is of course a lie and it arrives another hour late. We call the restaurant to see what is going on, if they forgot about this, if they will refund us for our missing items or if they will come back and they inform us they will call the delivery guy. About 20 min or more pass and the delivery guy arrives with the pending order but deliver it to us with a bad attitude(if a restaurant makes this kind of mistake you at least expect them to apologize and have a good attitude). I regret tipping then and ordering from that spot. They have certainly lost a pizza-loving customer and their friends. You better Choose another pizza spot on Chicago.

This place advertises a 50 percent discount on a second pizza. It’s a lie. They also claim to deliver to areas where they do not deliver. Ultra lame.

This is a spot for a convenient bite to eat — from 9:30 to 2 am! If you work in or are visiting the area and need a quick bite, this will do the trick. I stopped in for a slice for lunch, arriving about 11:45 am, and found the case had about 8 or 9 pizza ready to go. I enjoyed a slice of the Spinach and Feta Pizza. The crust is the thicker dough, and it folded nicely. Fresh ingredients. With my 20 oz Pepsi in the bottle, UNDER $ 5.00. My lunchmate, ordered onion rings, and there were plenty for two to share, well cooked, good breading, full onions, served with some zingy pale orange ranch type dressing.(Sorry not sure exactly what it was, but alternating between that and ketchup was pleasing to my palette.) I’ve read other reviews and can’t imagine what others were expecting, but I will return for a lunchtime slice, and choose from there extensive variety of pizzas. This isn’t your Chicago«tavern» pizza(thin crust), or stuffed, or deep dish, or pan. It’s a step up from your 30-minutes-or-less chains. And if I may be so bold, as a lifelong Chicagoan and pizza-eater, I NEVER have my pizza delivered. If you live within delivery area, go pick-up you pizza! It’s typically ready in 20 minutes and you are eating minutes later. Why wait an hour or more for ANY pizza place to deliver your food, in rotation with all the other orders they are delivering. Noting, of course, those who are home-bound may need delivery, and this is not meant to criticize those with real needs.

I was expecting the worst based on other reviews, but honestly, it’s passable. Delivery: took about 50 minutes, which is apparently not the norm. Sauces: this was strange, but not incorrect. We ordered two medium pizzas and a cheese bread, so we should have received three dips — garlic ranch, creamy garlic and chipotle ranch. We somehow ended up with six: two marinaras, two chipotle ranches, one garlic ranch and one mayo??? Anyway, they weren’t too bad. GR was my favorite. Pizza: whoever pointed out the similarity to Pizza Hut is bang on. It’s clearly cheap, lower quality pizza but that isn’t necessarily bad. I enjoyed it for what it is. I also like to rate pizzas on their oven reheat quality — and it crisped up nicely. I think it actually tasted better reheated. Cheese bread: the best I’ve ever had? No. But it was tasty. All in all, I’ll definitely order from here again because they are practically giving it away for free. Our food was $ 22 before tax with a coupon, and at full menu prices would have been well over $ 30. They also gave us a $ 10 off a $ 25+ order for next time.

I can’t express in words how much I LOVE this place! I am obsessed with the meat ravioli! 6 cans of dew for like what, 4 bucks?! Super speedy, SUPER friendly. Pizza is ok, I ordered the«classic»(mind you I live on pizza rolls and totinos party pizzas, and I hate vegetables) this is my go to grub hub favorite. I have never been disappointed. And last night, I went outside of the box and ordered the wings. AAMAZING. … I didn’t get to them until the morning, so they were cold… But delicious and meaty! I want to give this place a hug.

I didn’t try their pizza, but last week I did try a sandwich. I ordered from there, because they offered free delivery and no order minimum when ordering on GrubHub. So I got a hot sandwich with panini bread. After a 1 hour estimated wait, I got a call that due to traffic, the order would be delayed by 30 more minutes. 1.5 hours and the excuse is traffic? I highly doubt it, but at least they called and didn’t leave me hanging. Also, they offered a refund and all. I had to eat, so I asked them to include some appetizer and they send me some cheese sticks. First the sandwich — it was fine. I ordered it with panini bread, and that ended up being just regular white bread. I probably should’ve gone with the ciabatta. The sandwich itself was fine. Kind of simple… which seemed like just cheese and tomatoes in it. I can’t complain about the cheese sticks. I feel like most places buy these things frozen — fry ‘em and sell ‘em.

Really surprised to see so many harsh reviews. We’re not talking about Michelin Star restaurants here, people. I can generally agree that this tastes like an upscale version of Papa John’s, but that shouldn’t be perceived as a negative thing. Obviously, if you want«good» pizza, sure you can fork over $ 5+ more for something that’s meets the standards of your exquisite palette, but this is cheap pizza. Most of the places around me are terrible, and come in a pizza box that’s greasier than the pizza itself… I wanted an alternative and went with this place because I got a menu in my mailbox. They offer lots of different dishes, the calzones are quite good, and the meatballs are also decent for«low budget italian» The wings left a lot more to be desired, yet they are still better than I’ve had at some places. I thought the pizza was actually decent. It was just what I was expecting, nothing fancy. If I wanted to be Mr. Moneybags and get the best pizza in the world, I’d just have Joël Robuchon cook one for me personally. But this is delivery pizza we’re talking about. They offer weekly specials and lots of coupons, which will take about $ 5 off your order, generally. If lazy mode should strike me, I would order from here again. It can be hit or miss with the pizza, but an instant bathroom break is highly likely.
