Great pizza! Great fries! Great cheese to go with the fries! Love getting pizza here. The staff is also very friendly. There’s nothing much else to say I love their slices and the whole pizza. You have to try this place

Pizza is tasty. However, the owners’ seem arrogant and not very customer oriented that i will not elaborate on my situation but its has happened more than 5 times. Stopped going there and took my business elsewhere.

Second time stopping in here. Three weeks ago I landed at Midway and was hungry so Unilocaled it. Took a chance and was happy with the results. Today I came here with the intent to eat good pizza. There’s something about the cheese. It’s really good. A very nice couple own the place and I’ve always found everyone to be very inviting. Only a few spots to eat in but it doesn’t matter. I love the simplicity of this place.

LOVE IT! I’ve been passing this place for years not giving it much thought since it’s small It’s amazing! I’m not much of a Giordanos fan and feel it’s overrated, so I wanted to try someplace new. This is my go to place. I always need a go to place to pick up pizza for the family and we all loved it. Hot and yummy. I had a thin crust jalapeño and pepperoni pizza. Price was fair too for a large pizza!

I’ve been ordering from here for years and recently this place has been lacking customer service. We’ve given them chances only because it’s super busy there but lately they been late on everyone of our orders and when I say late I mean over 2 hours late! And they never have the common curtesy to call or anything. We’ve called to see where order was and they say it’s on its way but still half an hour later still not here and when it does eventually get here it’s cold. Never ordering from here again!

Great deep dish pizza alternative to the Giordanos of the world. We also got a salad. I can say this salad is fresher and higher quality than I would have ever expected from a pizza joint. Delivery driver was also courteous and quick. Really impressed.

Thin crust. .. near cracker crisp. I really enjoyed it. Am having the left overs tonight. Had the small supreme pizza and it was delish! Couple of meals there be sure for one. Can’t wait to try to deep dish and measure the reviews. A nice neighborhood joint. Next time I will try to dine in!

We love their pizza! We are regular customers, however, we don’t appreciate being charged extra for sauce depending on who’s answers the phone. The owner (husband) is pleasant and values loyalty but the co-​owner lacks customer service skills and has no regard for loyal customers! We will continue to go there, but wish she could become more customer oriented!!!

This is one of the best pizza places in the midway area, in my opinion. Their thin crust is amazing! I haven’t tried anything else from their menu besides the fries because the pizza gives me a reason not to.
Delivery is prompt. Their drivers are also pretty cool.
Pricing is good as well. I always order my pizzas extra thin, extra crispy, and they come thru every time.

Positanos has good pizza but in my opinion their pasta dinners are even better! One of my favorite dishes is the baked mostaccoli. They are also the only Italian place near midway that I know of who makes an eggplant Parmesan sandwich which is must for everyone to try. They also sell pizza slices which is always a plus if your looking for something fast without ordering a whole pizza. I haven’t really had anything from Positanos that isn’t good. The only reason I didn’t give their pizza 5 stars is because I feel like they put too much cheese and not enough sauce on their pizza. But again that’s my own opinion. Their food is also pretty reasonably priced.

I Ordered a Medium special pizza it was $ 20 (a bit expensive if you ask me). The pizza was ready for pick up in about half an hour. Be sure to ask them to make the crust extra thin. For some reason there thin crust comes thick which is why I ask for extra thin. Just personal preference. This pizza place over exceeded my expectations. I was 100% satisfied. The taste was on point. I didn’t expect much from a tiny pizza joint but I will definitely be a returning customer. I gave Positano’s Pizza a three star rating only because they are little pricey.

I’m not sure if we just picked a busy time but for Super Bowl Sunday we had some food delivered. My husband and I both had completely different food and honestly I can’t recall what I had all I know is it made us both sick almost immediately after eating. Although they did inform me that due to high demand the food would take a bit longer. It took 2 hours!

Deep dish slice, fries, and can of pop for $ 5? Where else can you get a deal like that? Pizza is on point and a very generous size slice. Great hidden gem of Midway.

I ordered a deep dish sausage and mushroom pizza to be delivered. The pizza was flavorful and delicious. The ingredients were fresh and the sausage a tiny bit spicy, just the way its supposed to be. The sauce needed a little more flavor in comparison to other places but still very good. Can’t go wrong. Pizza delivery guy was prompt but looks a little intimidating. I will definitely be a regular.

I have to honestly say that this spot is easily in my top 3 great prices and the pizza is amazing ! Also try the cheese fries! I highly recommend this place !

I would be willing to try this place again, but instead opt waiting for a fresh pizza to be made instead of grabbing slices from their case. I found the dough to be too dry and cracker-​like. It may just be because the pizza was in a display for a while or maybe after it was reheated it dried the crust.
Came here on a whim while in the neighborhood. Had a slice of their traditional deep dish and a slice of their «thin crust». The deep dish had a very deep sauce and tender sausage. The thin crust was disappointing as it reminded me of frozen, thick, in-​a-​box pizza.
The woman who served us was very friendly. She offered to customize the thin crust slide with additional toppings.
The restaurant is very small. Consists of a countertop to order, a fridge and three tables. Better to do take-​out from here.

Am I going to get flak for this? Yeah, probably… But with a 3 hour layover at Midway airport and having never experienced true Chicago pizza before, I saw the Unilocal reviews for Positanos and figured it would be worth the mile-​long shuttle/​walk.
I hustled there and grabbed a couple of slices, cheese and sausage. Not only is there better pizza pretty much everywhere, but I found both to be well below average: the type of pizza you could get from any neighborhood pizza place pretty much anywhere.
I’m not saying it was inedible, just that it is no destination for me and if I lived 2 doors down, I’d still have a hard time justifying making it my «usual.»
The service was average and prices were a bit high for slices.
