Pizza Nova

Although the service in the restaurant can be lacking at times, I like this place. The pizza is always good. The delivery time is always under an hour. The delivery guys are nice. It’s also less pricey than other places. A slice is $ 1.25.
I’ve been a customer for a couple of years and have had 1 bad experience. (Late delivery, order wrong)

worst customer service ever. do not order here they are so rude. And take 1 hour for 1 medium pizza and i live 2 blocks away from this dumb place!!!

My family & I always order from here & find it be one of our faves. But today I placed an order and waited TWO HOURS for my delivery. Finally I called the place & they told me that they supposedly came to my house & knocked which isn’t true because we would’ve heard them & they also said they called my number which is also untrue because I was on my phone the whole time & have no registered incoming calls from them. They told me it would be another 40 mins to remake it without apologizing or offering a discount for the in-​convince. Overall, really disappointed with this service

Called around 11:25 and asked if they had slices still (seeing that they close at midnight) they said yes, so I said I’d be there in 5. I show up 5 mins later only to be treated rudely and told they’re «closed» when the door was unlocked and it said it closed at midnight (30 whole minutes later.) I don’t need your sub par, watered down Chicago style pizza anyway.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Horrible customer service at the 59^th and Pulaski location. I have been ordering pizza from that location for almost 2 years or since a friend recommended the place. I went there to get two slices of pizza and the cashier was giving me an attitude because I was asking her to repeat herself because I could hear her. After that I was told I had to spend $ 5 in order to pay with my card. I didn’t understand so I reacted like 5 dollars? then I got it, the whole time she had an attitude and I said all I said was 5 dollars? the she goes an tells someone else to take care of me, like if I were so hard to handle. I just walked out of the place. I was so mad I called asking for the manager or supervisor he did not want to give me his name until he said his name was Salvador, not even sure if that’s his real name. Since the beginning he was on defense mode, he told me that his cashier had done nothing wrong that she had called him and that I left I asked for his supervisor he told me that he could not give me that information BECAUSE I WAS NOT A CUSTOMER, that he had never seen me there before, so I guess all the times I have order for delivery don’t count and the times I have been there myself don’t count, the times my husband has been there don’t count and the times I have referred friends don’t count. I told him I was going to contact someone on corporate and write reviews about the place, he then told me that and quote «YOU CAN DO WHATEVER THA HELL YOU WANT»
I am pregnant maybe more hormonal than usual but I never expected to treated like that after had been craving a slice of pizza the whole day.
Pay attention to your customers because there are a lot of places where one can get a pizza and they at least act like they care about your business.
Thank you for your attention and I will never ever go back to any of the pizza novas and will make sure my family and friends know about this.

Horrible customer service. In the past month I’ve had 2 problems with the MANAGER and an employee over the phone both times. The food of great, no problem with that. The problem is with the employees. How can a manager be someone who gives attitude and says he’s not willing to write a ticket all over. Like first of all you don’t have to write a ticket over all you had to do was change the size of a pizza. We called back not even 15 seconds later. That’s not customer service. And now today, they wanted the number I was calling from okay the pizza is for my mom why do you want my number but not the case I gave it to her and she acted like she didn’t hear and asked again and I gave it to her 2 more times and she’s gonna say «wow b**ch». I asked for a manager and it was the same person I had a problem with a few weeks back and he said «I’m standing right next to her she didn’t say that». Never again am I ordering from here. Why work somewhere where you have to deal with people of you do not have the commitment and respect for your job.

Takes 1hour to make a italian beef worst custumer service ever they need better management

The pizza is good but the service sucks!!! Last week I order 2 pizza & I waited 2 ½ hours for a delivery & I was only located 10mins from the place. When I call to speak with a manager… let’s just say I’ll never spend my money with them again.

Horrible service, it’s bad I can’t leave 0 stars here. They rushed me over the phone and didn’t ask for form of payment, I found out through my friend that I had to go there to pay, they did not bother to share that information. I get there and their front desk girl decides to reply with a nasty attitude «well, I didn’t take your order so I wouldn’t know», stating ‘naw, we can’t take orders over the phone it’s a safety precaution”, yet they never asked me for my ID, when I called them out on that, the girl smacked her lips and rolled her eyes. I told her it is an inconvenience, a great safety issue they’re tackling but they did not diffuse the information properly.
Do not eat here and expect good food or even remotely decent customer service, they will mess up your order then serve you attitude with your horrid food. It’s shocking this place is still open.

If I could leave this place 0 stars I would. The food is greasy, bad, and they usually mess up your order. The staff is unprofessional and rude, and there’s no consistency with the food. Wait scratch that, it is consistently bad it just is a surprise how bad it’s going to be on a scale of 1 – 5. Sadly, they are the only place to get fast food late nights in this area or I’d never go here again. My best tip would be to check your order as soon as you get it, and be prepared to argue with the staff if they mess it up.

Great value meals if you have a large family!

All the hate is not needed. I think it’s a nice inexpensive place to pick up a quick order to go. I rarely get pizza there which is Ok. I love their Italian beef and chili.

There are bad reviews on this place, but I think it’s good. If you want a sit down restaraunt and or a get together to eat pizza. No, I would not go here. (it’s a small joint, not the greatest, but I like their pizza for a quick pickup and eat at home. But, not slice. When you buy just a slice it is like meh, but whole pizza tastes better. Fresher made maybe?

Terrible service and shitty food. I got food poisoning from this place!!! Not kidding. This place just sucks! Avoid it!
Plenty of other pizza places in the area, like Pop-​N-​Pizza or Big Tony’s! Way better than this crap hole!

This place used to have good pizza. This was back when pizza by the slice was 0.99, now it’s $ 1.25 or $ 1.50 and its mostly bread, they skimp on ingredients and the pizza is always dry.
I usually drive the extra few blocks to Pop-​n-​Pizza. Much better.

Terrible service trying to place a delivery. Everyone in there is worst than speaking to the last person. I called and they hagged up on twice saying I was trying to place a prank before even telling them what I wanted to order. Do yourself a favor and order from somewhere else.

This place what can I say?
Ok so this place is a revolving door type of work environment, because they shift their employees after 5 or 6 months. The reason? They suck!!!
They have zero consistency when it comes to food preparation, once in a while a slice of pizza will be ok but other times they just screw it up since no one is a mainstay in this place and for many reasons.
1. Poorly paid
2.No training or lack thereof
3. Jack of all trades?
lol ok that last ones needs some explanation this place has other items like the Italian Beef (dirt cheap and some what passable) Philly Cheese Steak (biggest piece of crap in the history of the known universe!) and garlic bread.
Well Im done with this review but here is a little story about this place.
A few years ago I was in the mood for Chili I don’t know what compelled me to come to this place for it (the reason I or my family eat here now and again is because duh its cheap) but the lady behind counter well god bless her she could not comprehend what a «cup of chili» was, so when I ordered it I left (brain fart I did not check the bag) I opened it up along with my soggy burger and I got my chili, In a cup the size of which I can compare to those little cups that contain hot peppers or mustard! it was that small and a 1.95 $$!!!
Yep overall eat some where else and if you need a quick but delicious food fix their is a Zaca Tacos Right Next door.

It’s sloppy looking. They take your cash and straight up scoop your slice with the same hand that touched your monies without washing.
