Prudential Jewelers is my go to jeweler. That makes me sound like much more of a high roller than I actually am.
After my mom passed away I was never going to wear her wedding and engagement rings as rings, but didn’t want to just put them in a jewelry box. So I decided to have the stones and metal used to make a necklace. I had an idea in my head and the final product was even better than what I imagined. Not only is it my favorite necklace but I’m certain my parents would love it too. When it was broken by a wayward dog paw a few months ago I took it back to Prudential and they fixed it for waaay less than I expected. It’s good as new and back around my neck, where it belongs.
I’ve sold some jewelry to Prudential Jewelers also. The first time I had some big ticket pieces to sell I went all over jewelers row and Prudential gave me the best price.
Next time I need some jewelry I know exactly where I’ll be going.

Tony is an absolute «gem.» He sold my husband our first engagement ring. Since then we have upgraded a couple of times over the years. He is fair and honest-​exactly what you are looking for when purchasing fine jewelry. First class service and creativity all the way. He is wonderful to work with! Thank you Tony!

We were shopping for our engagement/​wedding rings and we visited many stores on the jewelller’s row until we finally stopped by prudential. The staff was hospitable and accommodating. They are very patient and give personal attention. We are from India and our marriage was going to be in India. They found out everything about our wedding to understand that we love yellow gold. They had fewer yellow gold diamond rings compared to white gold. We were getting disappointed that all the ones we liked were in white gold but there you go. They showed us two great looking yellow gold rings which we instantly liked. They have great collection at great prices. Don’t ever come out of the store without talking to Tony. He is awesoneme! You can bargain here to get a good price. The icing on the cake for their service for me was when a diamond fell off my ring and they replaced it for free 6 months after we purchased the ring

We’ve been going to Tony since we bought my engagement ring and our wedding bands from him 15 years ago. Since then, we’ve made several purchases from him, and have always been very happy with our experience. Tony is kind, patient, fair and extremely knowledgeable. He’s a pro and makes the whole looking/​buying process very comfortable. The rest of his staff is also very friendly and accommodating.

My boyfriend… now fiancé:)…and i went to look for an engagement ring. We had a budget and we had an idea of what type of ring we wanted but not entierly sure. We went to 4 jewlers before coming here and everyone was pushy about us buying from them but not this place. The owner came right up to us and was so nice. We told him our budget and what we were thinking about but he wanted to make sure that what i wanted was a style i truley wanted so he had me pick out some rings that i thought were pretty then from what I picked he told us he had an idea of what shape and style i liked and showed us some rings that were in our price range. I wanted to spend no more than 3 grand and wanted atleast 1 carot. All the rings he showed us were so beautiful but the one i wanted was in the showcase amd was well out of my price range. He saw how much i liked that ring and asked me so mamy times if i truley loved the more expensive ring and then told me it was mine. He gave it to us for under our budget aswell!!! He is such a good person and said how he has a daughter and how he would want his daughter to love her ring so he wanted me to love mine and could tell i did!!! My ring is beautiful and exceeded all of my expectations for the ring!!! Oh and THEN as if he didnt already do enough he handed me back a HUGE chunck of money and I mean HUGE and said, «go to out for dinner on me. I want you to have such a special night.» I almost jumped over the counter to hug him. Hahaha He was so nice, has beautiful jewlery, not pushey at all, and truley cares about his customers. Sized my ring within 30 minutes and I just cant stop looking at it. He went above and beyond for us. I definitely reccomend this place especially for your engagement ring.
Did i mention he gave my fiancé a titanium wedding ring for almost nothing! my fiancé was just curious and he let him try some on and then practically gave it away. He is just such a genuinely nice person. They truley care there. Love love love this place.

SCAM! It was all a big scam. Never trust any jewelry stores on jewelers row, all overpriced. The owner kept my down payment on a chain, when i decided i did not want the piece, he told me i had to take him to court to get my money. There were no signage in the store with them stating their return policy, and when i put the original $ 500 down payment down, he refused to give me a receipt. After getting the authorities involved because he was stealing my money, they were completely unprofessional, and tried writing in NO RETURN on the receipt the police made them give me for court documents. Ultimately, i had to buy something else out his store because he refused to return my money, and i was not going to wait 2 months for a verdict. The piece i was looking at in place of the overpriced gold chain i refused to buy, he overcharged me $ 200 because he was still mad about me not wanting the original piece. Mind you, he told the charm would only be $ 1200 no tax, but ended up charging me $ 1400. SCAMMERS!!! DO NOT SPEND YOUR MONEY THERE. I WARN YOU!

After an unsuccessful first trip to the jewelry store, we came here to look at eternity rings. We mentioned our dilemma with the other jewelry store. After finding a round prong eternity setting we liked, we feared that we might hear the same story-​just can’t do it with my ring size. Instead, the affable jeweler Tony said «amateurs» and promised us that he would be able to make my ring in the style and setting I liked.
As we were leaving, we learned even more about the store and their commitment to custom gemstone pieces. The jeweler Tony purchases and selects all of the stones himself. With this knowledge, they took extra care in selecting the tsavorite stones for my mother’s ring and cutting them just right. In a little over a week, my mother’s ring was ready for pickup.
I love this jewelry store. They’re no nonsense, intelligent, and have excellent customer service. They helped us throughout the process in picking out the ring and took the time to make a great ring. Don’t be fooled by their simple, not flashy store. They know gems and diamonds!

I had fantastic service here over St Patty’s Day weekend. I was shopping for a cushion cut sapphire engagement ring and had spent significant time the weeks before looking at other stores. The generally theme at each store is cushion cut sapphires are hard to come by and it would be hit or miss whether I’d be able to find the right one by the middle of April (timeframe of proposal).
This was not an issue at Prudential. Tony had an extensive collection of colored gems, including three breathtaking cushion cut sapphire stones. The store itself is simple and beautiful (and expanding). A few particularly fancy pieces are particular focuses of attention, but the general layout flows nicely, and the store is plenty spacious (soon to be bigger) and well-​lit.
Tony spent time explaining the sapphires, their color, clarity, and options for bands. After only 45 minutes, a decision was made — an 18K White Gold cushion cut sapphire stone in a halo setting. The CAD design was sent only a few days later and the ring was made in about a week (lead time at many other stores was much longer).
I presented the ring to my fiancé last week. The compliments just keep on coming in. The Prudential family treated me like an old friend. I could not have been more satisfied with every aspect of the experience as well as the ring itself. They have truly earned a customer for life.

Tony is fantastic! My husband purchased my beautiful engagment ring through Prudential and that was only the start. We bought our wedding bands, anniversary gifts and hopefully more beautiful pieces in the future through PJ. You can design anything you’d like, however, they have so many gorgeous pieces to choose from already!
Tony and his staff are incredibly knowledgable and honest. A trustworthy jeweler that I would highly recommend!

My fiancé and I had refreshingly fantastic service here over the weekend. We were shopping for vintage or estate engagement rings and had spent time at various stores throughout the city and suburbs, and in Jeweler’s Row. This was our BEST experience in Jeweler’s Row.
Like most stores, Tony had a only small selection of estate rings, but was extremely knowledgeable and patient. This was a breath of fresh air from the other stores, which seemed to think that dealing with their estate rings was a nuisance (then why carry them!?).
Tony at Prudential spent time explaining the diamond cuts, color, clarity, and options for ring re-​sizing. It was such a breath of fresh air after the attitude and/​or ignorance we encountered at so many of the other stores. Their prices were also very good compared to what we found online and were seeing at other stores.
We did not buy our ring at Prudential because we received a family diamond, but we will bring the engagement ring and our other jewelry here for resizing and repair because of the excellent service!

The owner and his wife helped me pick out the absolute best decision I have ever made. My now fiancé absolutely loved her engagement ring and its beauty I know will last forever like our love. Thanks again Prudential and new friends John and Amanda

I’m sure everything is overpriced, but the jeweler was honest about saying they were selling this one watch for $ 48,500, but he could let it go for as low as $ 28,100 or something like that (we really had no interest in buying the watch but were just curious cause it was huge and too bejeweled). They also took links out of my friend’s watch (not bought from there) for completely free. Very nice staff that helped us.
