I can’t really compare this landscaper to any others since it’s my first experience with landscaping, but in the year we’ve used them we’ve been satisfied with Mr. Quintero and co. Actually it’s more like 6 months a year since landscapers only work in the April-​October time frame in Chicago.
One of the things I really liked about our house when we first saw it was the landscaping so we figured it made sense to stick w/​the same landscaper. I also feared if we tried someone new they’d have lots of new ideas that would cost lots of $$$.
The Quintero Bros are reliable. They always show up once a week, typically around naptime so my dog barking at them wakes up the baby. But I can’t blame them for my crazy dog’s behavior. Their prices seem fair based on comparing them to friend’s landscapers with similar sized yards. Mr. Quintero is also very helpful if I need to chat with him about something, most recently what to put under our new playset. And most importantly the front and backyard look great for the part of the year when it’s not covered in snow.
They just did the April cleanup and it’s already looking way better than it did a week ago. Looking forward to seeing those flowers bloom soon!
