Not the greatest pizza in the world, but it’s hard to complain about paying $ 6 for two massive slices and a soda. Great for when you’re absolutely starving, don’t care how your food will make you feel for the rest of the day, and on a budget.

Solid, almost comically greasy pizza that comes out fast and costs only $ 6.50 for two slices and a drink. What’s not to like?

I love this place! I wish I had known about it sooner, it’s the go-to hangover lunch for a coworker, and I didn’t try it until recently. I loathe Chicago-style pizza(I’m from the East Coast) with a fiery passion, and this place is the perfect antidote to that. Chewy, thin, greasy, big foldable slices. I know that sounds horrible, but it’s the most amazing thing ever, and I will continue to visit this place for lunch even though I’m leaving the job that is right next door. 2 slices and a can of soda for $ 6 is a sweet deal, too.

Read reviews here so decided to try this place instead of City Pizza. I had a bit of trouble finding it initially as I was coming from North-East so went in the«back door» and not from Wells — but that turned out to be better since Reggie’s pizza is inside the bar in the back corner. The deal is two slices and a pop for $ 5.90($ 6.50 with tax). I got a slice of pepperoni and one slice of sausage. It was heated up, thrown on a paper plate with a clear«sheet» over it(for both slices) and then tossed into the«pizza» bag. I then walked quickly to work(it’s cold after all!) The crust was different between the two slices as the pepperoni slice was a bit more«done» — so I could hold it by the crust with one hand without it «bending». Wasn’t «over done» for my taste so it was fine if a bit crunchy. The sausage slice wasn’t as done and more flexible so had to be more careful with that slice. The sausage almost looked like a cheese slice at first, but then I noticed the bit’s of sausage on it. The sauce was missing for the most part. I guess there was a very light application of sauce as there seemed to be a bit dried up on the very ends where the toppings meet the end crust. I like my pizza with a bit more sauce — at least have SOME sauce on it. Overall it’s what you’d expect for cheap pizza, perhaps a slightly better deal considering it is downtown so 3 stars instead of a «meh» two stars.

Hell yeah! Perfect combination. Real pizza in a bar in the financial district that tourists don’t know about. Spending a lot of time, much more than I wish down in Texas where it’s hotter than just to the left of Satan’s ass hole nearly year round, we don’t have real pizza. I suppose it’s because the dough sucks(as in not Chicago water) and the cheese in Texas is terrible. Picked up two slices and a can of pop for $ 5.50 here and it was a nice slathering of cheese and fresh greasy pepperoni that I’d pay $ 20 for it you could get it in Texas. Popped my pop in my pocket and took it back to my hotel(Buckingham) across the street and opted for some beer at the counter instead. Nice people, welcoming to strangers. Really dig this place.

Good and cheap. Not a tourist hole. We probably met Reggie himself. It’s within a bar so don’t be confused when you enter.

Their hours are less than ideal for a pizza place… who closes at 5pm and is only open Monday-Friday? I will be happy to give my business to someone else…

Same star rating, just a slight note that may or may not have an effect on others: The value took a hit from 5 out of 5 to 4.5 out of 5. 2 slices(1 topping) + a can of pop seem to be 6.00 cash, 6.01 credit, inclusive of tax, regardless of time of day. I went before 11am today just to see if the ol ‘5.50 deal was in play, and it was not. Also, I went to a fundraiser/networking event here, and they seem to be one of the only venues in Chicago that doesn’t have a food(not applicable here) or beverage minimum, which makes things easier. Carry on.

I literally watched the guy who took my order go from touching the cash register and taking money right to putting pepperoni on cheese pizza and handing it to me. It was discussing.

It’s been said over and over again…$ 5.50 for two big slices of pie and a can of pepsi. The pizza is servicable, not great… but it’s in the loop and it’s $ 5.50 for two big slices and a can of pop. I go here probably 3X a month for a decent and cheap meal.

Alright, where to start with Reggie’s… After Bacci’s closed on Washington & Wells, my heart was shattered into a million pieces. I would always be the envy of my co-workers. One day, while mourning the loss of Bacci’s jumbo slice, I was in the mood for pizza. While there is an Italian place in the Sears Tower, where I work, I’ve never had the courage to venture down there because it’s always slammed during lunch. That’s when I remembered meeting a friend at Reggie’s a few times and decided to finally try it for myself. Now, onto the food. At first taste, this pizza is phenomenal, but GREASY. Usually I don’t notice grease, but it was hard not to on this pizza. That said though, what’s a pizza without some grease? And two slices for 5.50? You can forget about it. One is usually enough to fill me up, but about an hour or two later I’m rarin’ for the second one. While I can’t recommend eating here on a day to day basis, just because of the sheer amount of grease, if you’re in the mood for good pizza, look no further than Reggie’s for your fix.

You can’t beat the price for lunch before 11am: 2 Slices of Pizza and 1 Can of Pop for $ 5.50 with tax. The pizza isn’t the greatest tasting but its good enough for the price. He uses Pastorellis Sauce out of the can that you can buy at Jewel. I make homemade pizzas using the same sauce. This is why I gave it 3 stars. The place is a little hard to find because it’s in the back of Alcocks Bar. You can go in the back door on Financial Place.

I work in the loop so this is a great spot to get away from all the commotion. It’s never crowded at lunch time so the service is quick and stress free. In addition, the pizza is amazing for the price. $ 3.75 for a big slice and drink. I don’t know a place in the loop that can beat that. Did I mention that there are TV’s everywhere and a full service bar in the room?

In terms of value for your dollar, this place can’t be beat, in my opinion. If you have less than $ 5 in your pocket but you still want a tasty lunch, $ 3.75(tax included) gets you a huge slice of pizza(pepperoni, sausage, or cheese) and a can of pop. The slice is warmed up before it’s served to you so it’s nice and hot. Cash only. Located inside an Irish pub. There are some other things on the menu as well(lasagna, beef and sausage sandwich, etc.) that I haven’t tried yet. They appear to be pretty decently priced also though(I believe the lasagna is around $ 5.)

Reggie’s Pizza is a deal if you work in the financial district. After 2pm you can get two pieces of pizza and a can of pop for $ 5.50. Can’t beat value and taste.

Quick, pleasant and painless. This describes this quick lunch spot. Large slice of pizza and a drink and I am set. Variety of choices and other lunch companions have had some of their salads which they really enjoyed as well. Only $ 5 in your pocket… head on over to Reggies.

You + giant slice + can of pop = $ 3.50. What else is there to say about Reggie’s? Well, the service is good, the slice is huge, and the price is constant whether you have cheese, pepperoni, sausage, or a comination. Don’t forget the grated parmesean(from can, not fresh) and the crushed red pepper! There’s a bar too but it’s a different business and called Alcocks so I won’t include anything about it in this review. Reggie’s just sublets the back corner of the bar. They also started serving Italian beef and sausage sandwiches but I have yet to try one. Maybe next time I’ll see if they can put some Italian beef on a slice for me… now that’s amore! Great lunch bargain. Period.

«Piiiiizzaaaaaaa» chimes the little cartoon devil on your shoulder«a big greasy slice of it loaded with meat and cheese. I’m talkin’ one of those mammoth ones you can fold in half and eat like a sammich» «We probably shouldn’t» replies the little cartoon angel on the other, «you know its not good for us. Maybe we can find a nice salad or s-« “SALAD?!» the devil huffs loudly. «Salad is a decoration! We’ve got NEEDS over here.» «Yes but all that meat and cheese and grease is proven t-…» the angel begins to say as you approach the Reggie’s Pizza sign. You can already smell it. You can peak inside and see the red glow of the pizza display. Your tummy grumbles obnoxiously. The angel tugs at your ear gently. «We should probably go.» The devil points at the sign. «Check that out» «$ 3.50 for a pizza and a drink?!» the words tumble out of your salivating mouth like a bag of spilled marbles. The angel lets out a gurgling cry of surprise as the devil’s pitchfork is rammed through his back. He falls silently off your shoulder. «Reggies» the devil states as he lounges comfortably on your shoulder«this is where we start a long and prosperous relationship my friend».
