I ate here in December, and much to my surprise the cheeseburger I ate was unbelievable! So good, and so flavorful. Really — it was almost like ground steak or something. I was in the states for a week and had some good burgers — including In-N-Out in LA — This was one of the best. Fast food? In name only. I was surprised my order of fries could have fed a family of four, but that’s America, I guess. Highly recommended!

I have no idea why this place is voted so low. I was expecting an overpriced burger because it’s in an airport terminal. I was pleasantly surprise. They cook the burger however you want it and cook it to perfection. The veggies are fresh the fries are delicious. Not to mention the great service. Wish they had these burger joints all over!

For airport food this ain’t bad. Nice, juicy, ACTUALLY medium rare burger with lots of fresh toppings doesn’t leave you feeling ripped off like most terminal food does.

Overpriced? Of course; it’s the airport. I’m not really expecting any good prices. However tiny the burger was, the taste was decent, and the chili fries were great!

The line was long so I was expected to wait a little, but not for 25 minutes for one order of chicken finger. The guy claimed that all the cooked ones were sold so he had to fry some new chicken fingers. I did see the chicken fingers being sold out, but I also saw the guy making other orders that were placed after mine for another 10 mins before getting back to make some more chicken fingers — which ended up a total of 25 mins of wait time. Unacceptable, especially this is supposed to be FAST food at airport.

Super not into this place. I usually end up at Wao Bao or Frontera, but decided to give this place a try. Now mind you, I’m already well aware that airport food is seriously overpriced – but this place is ridiculous. $ 9 for a seriously tiny burger and the bowl of chili I got… well, it was somewhere between a thimble and a tea cup in size. But! All of that can be forgiven at an airport, where economic laws are flagrantly forgotten, if ONLY the service is DECENT. I’m not talking GOOD – no one should ever expect GOOD service at an airport. But this place does not even reach the level of «decent.» My $ 30 bag of food was basically thrown onto a counter by a disinterested employee, no thank you, no nothing. The cashier was more interested in talking to her co-workers than providing the service for which she was employed. My verdict? Plenty of other options to waste your money at in Terminal 5. Choose one with a bit more customer service.

It was so nice to go to the revamped Terminal 5 at O’Hare. The queues were ridiculous to get through security etc but at least when we got through, there were some restaurants to eat at and shops to go to, unlike before where it was pretty much tumbleweed and a Hudson. We decided to have RJ Grunts, never having tried it before as we fly through Chicago but then go on to Wisconsin, so never stop off. It was pretty expensive — $ 10 or so per burger, plus $ 5 for one order of fries, which we shared, and another $ 3 or so for the drink we shared. It was delicious. Probably not delicious for landside, but for an airport, excellent. They took their time and it was made fresh to order, dripping with juice and tastiness. The one order of fries was more than the two of us could finish, and they were fresh and skin-on.

The burgers are small but packed with flavor. They even ask how you want it cooked — surprising for being a «fast food» airport restaurant. I recommend the Gruntburger with bacon. If they had jalepenos it would be perfect. Since they do not — be sure to get the onions or pickles for that extra crunch. The serving of fries is huge — way more than I expected and perfectly cooked. Made my layover at O’Hare fantastic.
