Rogers Park Family Dental – Shaheen Khan, DMD

Had a great experience with Dr. Khan. Was visiting and had an emergency tooth situation and she accommodated with gentle and friendly (and fast) service. Thanks for a great experience.

A friend of mine at work suggested Dr. Khan and her staff when I was asking around for suggestions for a new dentist not long after moving to Chicago. I was nervous about going to a new dentist, but these ladies made me feel like a part of their family right away. I arrived a few minutes early just in case I had to fill out some paperwork, the receptionist at the front desk was very nice and friendly after finishing the papers I had to fill out I was brought in within minutes. The assistant brought me into the room and began my xrays right away. After only 10 minutes or so the doctor was in to examine me. She was so very friendly and made me feel comfortable. I have always been afraid of going to the dentist and I have been avoiding going to the dentist just because I have had bad experiences and because I hadn’t been able to afford dental care for a while and was afraid of what I needed done. I didn’t get a lecture or a scolding, and I felt much better when the doctor explained the work I needed to get done. She took her time to explain every thing to me. I felt very comfortable and relaxed by the time I left my appointment this morning. I will definitely recommend this office to my family and friends

The dental service at this office is outstanding. Dr. Khan was friendly and compassionate. As a bonus, I never felt the numbing shot for my cavity filling. She did some kind of trick where she shook my gums and distracted from the needle poke. This was the most painless dental work I’ve ever had. I think she has only been at this office since late 2013, so the bad reviews on here pre-​date her time at the office. And as far as I know, she is the only dentist at the office.

The best dental service I ever received. The dentist and the staff were very compassionate. The dental assistant made sure I was comfortable during the treatment. Will definitely go back!!!

One of the worst experience of my life with a dentist. I had work done on 4 quadrants filling, cleaning, x-​rays etc. The doctor was all fine and dandy until she could claim the insurance, once the insurance was out, the behavior changed drastically. The pain in my teeth was supposed to be subside within 2 days but when it didn’t, I booked an appointment again, as soon I was there the behavior was completely different, she behaved as if I was not welcome there anymore and claimed that the issues are because of my flossing the teeth (which I have been doing all my adult life).And did not do anything to alleviate the issue.
People who cannot Empathize with their clients and only are into this profession because of money should get their License revoked.
Anyways the BOTTOM-​LINE IS STAY AWAY FROM THIS DENTIST.
