Ordered catering for our wedding at the Garden Terrace East. The food was amazing!!! I wish we had taken more pictures. A couple pictures from our tasting and a couple from the buffet at their wedding. Don’t let the stock photos that they use from the 70’s deter you. The food was freakin’ amazing! I still think about it. It really was that good. People from Saranecki Brothers if you are reading this. Take some new pictures already. You need them. Badly. The pictures that you show people are old as hell and don’t do your delicious food justice! You will get more business if you update your photos. for real. We almost didn’t pick this place but the tasting proved that we made the right decision and everyone (and i mean everyone) at the wedding raved about the food!

Rented their Golden Platter room for my wedding reception for about $ 1400 for 5 hours on a Saturday night. I will first state that I really, really felt they deserve 0 stars. They were unabashedly bad but I can’t seem to give them 0 stars therefore I have to give them 1 star. So what did they screw up? A lot. They first never turned on the A/​C before guests got there. When we got there, they did turn them on but by then, they realized that one of the 3 window units didn’t work so my guests were sweating in a 85 deg room for over an hour. It still never got down under 75 deg. They also never sent a busboy to help with dishes as agreed a few days earlier and in the written contract. We agreed someone would simply load the dirty dishes into storage containers and not wash them but no one ever came. So some of the actual guests started doing dishes. I was appalled. You’d think the manager would get wise to contain their F@$%! ups after these very serious screw ups but they continued. The manager kept asking me to come down to talk with him but had me waiting while he was off doing something else. Well, it turns out that he wanted to discuss the remaining balance with me. But they had me waiting for over 30 minutes, making me miss a good portion of my own reception. When I did finally talk to an owner via phone, they wanted an extra $ 150 for taxes even though our signed contract specifically mentioned it included taxes. I didn’t pay it but that whole endeavor made me waste my time at my own reception for nothing!!! Lastly, I was very clear with the owner that I did not want a tip jar for the bartender but of course one showed up and the bartender kept accepting tips even after I said something. I even had the manager promise me several times that the bartender would not accept tips but it kept happening. Did it ruin the reception for my guests? No, but to me they are completely untrustworthy and unreliable. They don’t care about your requests and they absolutely do not follow their word. Stay away from all costs.
