Scotty’s Plumbing & Heating Steam and Hot Water

Highly recommend Scotty — he was very responsive to emails and it was easy to schedule an appointment, although I caught him during a busy period. He was prompt to the appointment, even gave me a call when he was 30 mins away. His plumbing work was good as was the pricing. While my issue was relatively minor in scope, I would trust him for any job.
Will be using him again and highly recommend his services, although I hope I don’t have to anytime soon! Knock on wood…

Scott responded right away, was very easy to work with, solved the problem and charged a very reasonable rate.
I’ve dealt with plumbers who are good at their work, but bad at communicating, and others that communicate well but don’t do the job very effectively. Scott is the best of both worlds. He sent me several texts over the course of 24 hours updating his status and ETA. That’s a real comfort when you need the plumber there right away. Highly recommended.

I was referred by a friend who has an old building with lots of problems and emergencies and not a lot of money to fix all of them at once. Scott has always been able to come through for her to fix the problem correctly and at a fair price so I called him to help me move my drain and prepare for a new vanity to be installed.
I have had a similar and positive experience as well. He quoted the hourly up front, but doesn’t pad it charging your for every dang second and then rounding up as he takes 20 minutes to write an invoice. (I’ve used many great plumbing services who gouge so much in this way, even though they are good at what they do I avoid using them when I can because I am always left feeling a bit like I just got mugged in an alley). I don’t get that with Scott: He’s upfront, responsive, on time, efficient, friendly, fair and knows what he’s doing. How rare is that? He doesn’t cut corners either. I want the problem corrected, not patched.
He’s coming back tomorrow to finish up and I’ll post an update and maybe even a photo… stay tuned…

Scott is professional, shows up when he says he will and is very reasonable and expert. There was one time that he could not fix the problem and he did not charge me. (Not because he wasn’t skilled, but it was a larger building issue, not an individual plumbing issue).

I had couple of issues at my place from shower not working to kitchen sink. I was looking for a plumber who was reliable and did a good job after having some bad experiences in the past with the quality and reliability. Scott was recommended by a friend. He called me prior to his appointment to let me know that he is running 30 minutes late and he did get at my place on time. He was able to get all the job done within few hours. Now I can enjoy my shower again!
