Spincycle Laundrymat

I love this place. I love that they are clean and open early. I can pop in and out early on a weekend day and get my stuff done. I have always had very positive experiences here.

The old asian women behind the counter is incredibly rude and disrespectful. I recently dropped off laundry which cost $ 22.50, I paid with $ 30.00. The women behind the counter gave me $ 2.50 back, when I asked about my remaining change she looked at me and rudely said «tip».
I have no problem tipping for quality and friendly service, which you will find neither here, but to choose your own tip is absurd!
To make matters worse several items of clothing were NOT folded and just stuffed into the bag.
I will never use this establishment again.

I went to drop my laundry off today for my fiancé. I have been a few times and refuse to go in. It’s gross and crowded and the Asian lady behind the desk is BEYOND rude. So I went In to drop off laundry and she goes «what no tip?» I was a server for many years and of course I tip! However, I tip after the job is done. Maybe if she smiled she would get more tips… luckily there are plenty of others!

Awfull! Did 3 loads, payed $ 4 per load to wash, and in the end one of the machines didn’t wash my clothes at all. Opened the door, they’re were soaked and covered in soap. I called the old lady that works there and she just looked at me like I did something wrong! and said to move them to another machine. I didn’t really have a choice since there were bed covers really heavy and completely soaked… This experience ruined my weekend! The lady is rude, doesn’t speak English and totally disrespectful! I will never ever go there again!

While big, clean, & well-​ventilated, I had a pretty awful experience today.
Apparently, the culture here is to push & shove your way around – I’m a big advocate of a simple «Excuse me.» Gets the job done & leaves the rudeness out of it.
Someone also apparently opened my dryer & then shut it without resuming the cycle. Right at the beginning, too. So when I came back for it, there were 9 mins left on the timer, it wasn’t spinning, & all the clothes were sopping wet. Either someone opened it, or the dryer is broken and has no sign. Whichever the reason, it doesn’t warrant a positive review in my book… and $~1.50 down the drain isn’t too cool either.
Lastly, the dryer that I used for my other load shrunk my clothes. Fair warning: they’re *powerful*.
Won’t be coming back. (Not that I’m a regular – my dryer at home broke this week. But should I ever need to launder out of the house again, this won’t be the place.)

This laundromat is very very clean! I went to the spincycle on Clark and it was very gross and dirty inside. I then went to this location, hoping it would be better and it was! There are tons of different sized machines. I should have looked at all of the machines before doing my laundry in a one load machine and a three load machine, oops! Now I know there’s a four load washer too!
Single to five load machines, tons of dryers in different sizes. The dryers aren’t free but you don’t have to get one of those cards that you have to pay for before you can even load money!

A good laundromat is hard to find.
This is one. The prices are reasonable, the facility is sparkling clean, the machines are new and the customers are pleasant. There are plenty of carts. If a machine is out of order, it is clearly marked. There’s an attendant on site who busts her butt keeping the place clean.
There’s even a videogame for the kids (or adults) and 3 vending machines. There are several TVs and they are tuned to different shows, so you actually have a choice of what to watch, and the place is big enough that you can hear your particular show fairly well.
Whoever the proprietor is, she takes pride in running a clean place. (And has quite the green thumb: those magnificent orange geraniums had me in awe!)
There’s a Walgreens right across Granville, so you can pop over for some snacks while you wait, or to do a bit of shopping.
I would mention that last night when we were checking the hours it said that the place closed at midnight on Saturday, so if you are a late night laundry person, you might want to call and check the hours first.

A good clean facility that doesn’t get over crowded. They are open 24 hours on Friday and Saturday nights which although makes me sound like a total loser but sometimes I like to get my laundry done late at night. The prices are OK, I use the huge washer that holds up to 5 loads and it’s $ 4.75 which is not to bad since I can usually get all my laundry done in one go. The parking lot is a bonus.

A good location to get all your laundry done at. Its clean, well-​kept, and never really crowded. And they have their own parking lot too!
