The main issue of this place are the cashiers that seem completely inept. There is always a significant line here. The cashiers are just slow. I do not have this experience at other Walgreens– unfortunately this one is closest to me. Haven’t used the pharmacy as I can’t bring myself to trust any staff here.

The level of incompetence at this Walgreens pharmacy is nothing short of amazing. It’s like they relish making it difficult for you to pick up a prescription. I have caught them lying to me twice in the past week regarding separate prescription issues. Phones go unanswered. Customer service is not even considered. When I asked who owned the franchise or whom I could call to lodge a complaint they told me that they did not know and I should call 1−800-Walgreens. Avoid this pharmacy at all costs. Plenty of other options. The regular store staff is not much better than the pharmacy, but really, how bright do you need to be to run a cash register and parrot Be Well every 45 seconds? Retrain your staff from scratch.

Wow, what a pretty store! This just opened a few months ago and I’m so happy it did! As I’ve expressed in some other reviews, I’m not thrilled with the CVS which is about 500 ft. from my house. It is just so annoying to go there. You always wait in line for 15 minutes. It sorta takes the convenience out of «running in and out» for something. Since this Walgreens location is a newer store, they actually are competing with CVS and the layout of the store is similar. They have those«half shelves» where you can see over to the next aisle that was popularized by CVS. This is a really great location and, unlike CVS(sorry!), the staff is really professional! The former location which was just north in the strip mall was really junky and very CVS-like as far as cleanliness and staff. However, this new Walgreens is a total 360. –A big win for Rogers Park! Thanks, Walgreens!
