St. Jerome School

My 3 children have attended St. Jerome School since they were in Preschool. The school has seen many changes over the past 9 years since my eldest started there but the biggest and best change is the new principal that started this school year. He is making a lot of positive changes to the school and has a ton of great ideas for the future of the school. He really seems to have the best interest of the school and children who attend the school in mind. This is a small school with a great community. Father Jo is the Parish Priest and he and his assistant Father Ivan are both wonderful spriritual leaders. The school is focusing on technology and has recently acquired Prometheon White Boards for each and every class. We have a full computer lab with new computers, a language program where children can learn Italian or Spanish, a hot lunch program cooked in house, a chess program, an art program, a WONDERFUL science teacher/​lab, a great sports program including basketball, volleyball and football and we have a great music program and children’s choir. The school offers after school care and enrichment classes are offered. The best part is that the tuition is much lower than a lot of other Private schools in Chicago. My children love their teachers and I am very happy at this school and recommend it highly.
